At the end when trying to check out website said that something had changed sense my last time to calculate and I didn't see a difference. I really wish there was a way to see the differences that was suggested. I didn't keep a list so I have no way of knowing. Is there a way to keep track of that?

Your free shipping policy is strictly a marketing bait program, as you already know. I had 8 books in my cart and one one eligible for free shipping. State your policy honestly in the first place. Plus, when one buys more than one item from the same supplier and ships to the same address, it would be nice if you encouraged them to adjust the shipping costs to reflect their own savings.
The book prices listed somehow mysteriously change in order to drop a dollar or two below the coupon limit in order to be worthless to the buyer.
I would recommmend Alibris if ONLY one item is to be purchased at a time.
