Very fast and easy! I was looking for Mastering the Art of French Cooking Volume 2 for a low price. I had no trouble finding it here and placing an order.

It is always quick work to find and order in Alibris. Many times, I found books at Alibris that were out of stock at other sources or out of print.

Thought the shipping time was a bit long & updates were inconsistent

I had a mixed experience shopping with Alibris. They have an amazing selection of books, including some hard-to-find titles, all at fantastic prices! That's definitely a big plus.
However, the shipping costs were a bit higher than I expected compared to other shops. Especially considering that the international tracking number only follows the package within the US. As someone in Hungary, this can be nerve-wracking, especially considering the reputation of the Hungarian Postal Service for occasional mishaps. Having a full tracking number would give me peace of mind.
The customer support wasn't quite as helpful as I'd hoped either.
Despite these drawbacks, I still find myself coming back occasionally because their book prices are truly unbeatable.
If they could address the shipping costs and offer full international tracking, I would definitely be a much more frequent customer! I know many other book lovers would likely feel the same way.
Overall, Alibris has a lot of potential, and with a few tweaks, they could be an amazing resource for bookworms everywhere!
