Constant problem with books placed in my shopping basket and i have not logged in, and close the website. When I later go back onto the website and log in, the book is not in my basket and is not appearing to be for sale. I have to keep trying to get the book to appear so I can buy it.

Excellent but only 3 stars because I DO NOT WISH MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO BE STORED. IT IS VERY WORRYING THAT ALIBRIS GIVES NO OPTION TO THE PURCHASER WHETHER THEY WANT IT STORED OR NOT AND THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. It is no use saying your software is fantastic. I was hacked by a similar claiming company and had months of hell and nearly closed my Alibris account because you insist on storing my card info. I should not have to follow your advice to click on "forgot your password" to have the info deleted, and go through the hastle of creating a new password. PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS REQUEST.

Twice i have placed an order for a Black's Law dictionary 3rd edition and twice my order has been cancelled. Third time lucky.
Normally when you begin your credit card number, the type of card is immediately recognized (ie visa, etc). Now I had to go back and mention the type of card and then complete the numbers again.
All the books I've received have been in excellent condition

The estimate cost of the shipping was exhorbitant. This is why I stopped the buy repeatedly. Then I noticed that the estimate was provisional and continued. The billing and delivery address were very difficult to e dit and I was unable to delete an old address at Palliser road -moved out 11 years ago and I had to enter the credit card information repeatedly.
Most of the experience was good, except when I came to register for an account. The system went around in circles and would not let me register despite repeated corrections and attempts. Gave up trying to register and used the guest checkout
