When you have a good seller, it's a great experience. However, if you run into a problem their Customer Service is just awful! I've had both good and bad experiences. When you place an order you get a LONG list of numbers as your order number. When your purchase arrives, it has no information on the packet to tell you who sent it. I ordered identical items from two different sellers. I got one order, but not the other. But, I had no way to see which seller hadn't sent it! When you have a problem and go to the "help" screen, you get an automated service called EVA. If your problem isn't listed on the pull down menu, you can't go on. In all the times I TRIED to connect to them, I only got through to a person once, and she was rude! My problems were never fixed! I lost $30 in transactions! Tonight I got a message saying that something I ordered was out of stock. They asked me to cancel my order and they would refund my money. Easy, right? WRONG! When I tried to cancel, the cancel button wouldn't work! I contacted the seller to tell them, and asked THEM to cancel and send my refund! I opened a dispute, too. I ordered something in a size large. They sent a size small! Ugh. I'm SO tired of TRYING to get to customer service, with no luck, that I'm no longer going to order through Alibaba.com. It's just awful!

User friendly, payment and tracking helping a lot and save. Vastness of the product is very appealing. However, product knowledge mastery is important because I asked basic information about the product and the sales person gave me the answer "I DON'T KNOW" which I find unacceptable.

I myself was hesitant but the high prices I was receiving in the US made me willing to take the risk!
It was easy to sign up. It was easy to search for the product I needed. It was easy to send an inquiry. It was easy to communicate with sale representatives of companies I was interested in purchasing from. I like that the companies were verified. I like that Alibaba has a system where you can track your order and its set up just incase product is not up to par and a refund is needed.
In closing, I'm thoroughly surprised that I was able to purchase quality product from half way around the world with such ease.

We are disappointed byt the fact that almost every time we make an order through alibaba we realize that there is big deduction of money while transfering to the suppliers bank account. And we feel that alibaba doesn't protect us. So we next time we might not use alibaba to make an order!
