I've never felt so enraged by a computer as much as I do when I'm on this math program. "program". More like purgatory if that's what you want to call it. This site makes me want to brush my teeth with so much force that it makes my gums bleed and use motor oil as mouth wash after. I'd fight a lion bare handed before I can even look at this waste of space again. This brain damage causing, percs for teaching havin $#*! site makes "Chop Suey!" by System of a Down sound like a motivational song. Have a good day and don't do dru- oops I meant aleks! :) Bye!

Constant F8in math with no real explanation to the problem, if you use other sites that teach you how to do it. ITS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THIS F8in ALEKS have to offer. Colleges most likely use this s*** app for budget reasons. Piece of S****, spending hours learning this crap and leave 8 hours of nothing every F**** week.

Never Again. This app is a gateway to an existential crisis. I am only in 7th grade, but I fell like I've already lost my lides purpose. I've been doing ALEKS for about 5 years and I can guarantee, the person who told you to use this app wants you to die. After 5 years the only thing I learned from ALEKS was hot ot hold a gun up my throat. It is the cause of many deaths, one of Wich included a student brutally cracking there head open with a computer with ALEKS tabed opend on it.

ALEKS is literally my opp. I hate Aleks with every living and dead fiber in my body. The topics I'm doing have NOTHING to do with what I'm learning in school, this is just a website that the laziest teachers can use to torture students. I've never wanted to kill myself, but now i do. All because of Aleks. I'm on my way to jump off a bridge right now, but I just needed to share my opinion about this god-forsaken horrible, tourture inducing, suicidal thoughts, cheating inducing, montrous website.

I come from New York and let me just say, Aleks is the worst program that I ever used. The smoking drug addict that created Aleks should get brutally murdered and get fed to all the lions. I would personally be honored to be the one who shoves a bomb up his butt and makes him frick himself. He should be America's most wanted criminal, let alone the world. Hitler, instead of killing innocent Americans, you should have taken this weight off our shoulders and killed the creator of Aleks. If I was in a room with Hitler, Satan, Obama, and the creator of Aleks and I had a gun with only 3 bullets I would shoot the creator of Aleks 3 times. I would rather put my ballsack inside a blender than do another Aleks topic. To the creator of Aleks, nobody likes you, nobody wants you, and your mom never loved you. Go freaking kill yourself. Go shove a nuke up your butt, then put your ballsack in a lawnmower, then go hang yourself in the shower with your grannies undies and wake up in H#ll cause that's where you belong. Math teachers and students are literally killing themselves. This is the number one cause of death in the world. If there is a world war 3 in the future, this will be what caused it. Go burn in H#ll and give all of us a favor.

This website is seriously $#*!ed and Im pretty sure this is the thing that satan uses to torture kids while he just sits in his dungeon with Dr. Jean-Claude Falmagne (the creator of Aleks) and eats chips while watching everyone suffer. This website made all my friends kill themselves by skydiving without a parachute. Everyone that I know killed themselves after using Aleks. Aleks is seriously suicidle and I'm warning any parents who knows that their kids use this website, Your kids will kill themselves after about 2 days of using this. This is a warning for some of you, and for the other ones of you, it might already be too late so sorry for your loss. Your kids probably enjoyed killing themselves more than doing Aleks. To the creator of Aleks, I really encourage you to go frick yourself then go jump off of a cliff. Also I hate to brake it to you but no one will go to your funeral because no one loves you. After you jump off a cliff your body will just sit there and rot and no one will ever care to find you. I would really enjoy watching you die. You can just shove a grenade up your butt and the whole world would be happier. I'm on the verge of killing myself right now. So for all our sakes, go kill yourself and blow up your app.

ALEKS is likely associated with the Illuminati. This is seriously a suicide program. It is a website that is specifically designed to make kids Commit suicide. I know this because I was fired for spreading the word about their dark secret. So I wanted to tell everyone the truth. Its also really scary but did you know that they actually keep track of how much students have had an incident. Here's how they do it. Those who bought the program, do you remember when you buy the stupid site it asks to use your camera but it says "Only on Exams". Its actually not true. It is always monitoring each student when they are on the website. Some reviewers might say, "Its probably because they want to see children get tortured" and honestly this might be part of it. So if you hear then I would seriously, seriously not recommend ALEKS for any professor, student, teacher, or parent. I just hope ALEKS gets sued and put out of business so no one else suffers.

When im doing an equation and i get the SAME EXACT ANSWER just in a different format, IT COUNTS IT WRONG! LIKE WHAT? Also for teachers making their students do aleks, JUST TEACH THEM NORMALLY and also, having the most UNHEARD of graphs and whatever is just, SO STUPID, like WHEN AM I GOING TO USE A BOX AND WHISKER PLOT IN MY LIFE?

ALEKS is basically Satans strongest army. I mean come on, lets talk about it. Those professors and teachers who see this review, I want to inform you that you are making an important decision that can lead to salvation or Damnation. If you would like to know how to receive salvation then DO NOT GIVE YOUR STUDENTS ALEKS! If youre interested in being casted down to eternal H*LL then GIVE YOUR STUDENTS ALEKS. Anyways, how bout i tell you what it does. It forces student to figure out concepts and problems that they've never seen on their own. The knowledge checks suck nuts! It is basically a way to bring smart kids down percentages. And don't get me wrong, it takes students from 20 minutes to hours to finish 1 topic. And based on my research, most teachers assign their students 20 to 30 topics a week!

I hated ALEKS. I use to love math, I would purposefully write down insane equations and try to answer them or just randomly download math games on my phone. When my school introduced ALEKS during my 6th grade year it honestly completely ruined my love for math. Thankfully my High School does not use this program. But ALEKS affected me A LOT. I have zero motivation to get math work done because I was forced to do 10 of these topics every week and sometimes they'd tell you you're wrong when you aren't! Or if you make 1 small mistake it makes you start over most the topic! I ended up failing math with a D- (58/100) because ALEKS was most of my grade. I didn't learn anything from this program due to how horribly the directions were made and how much it penalized you. If you are a teacher thinking about using this program for your students please reconsider. Take it from the nerd who used it for 3 years. I.hate.ALEKS. Hate dosen't even explain.

I absolutely despise this wretched website. It is not a good or effective teaching method for classes. Teachers should be instructing the students instead of throwing X amount of topics you need to complete. Teach us things that we will ACTUALLY use in real life IN the classroom

Hi. 7th grader here. I know a lot of middle school reviews are unhelpful and usually completely made up. This one isn't.
I've been doing aleks since 5th grade. The first year it wasn't so bad. It was hard, and I got a little behind, but it seemed like I could get a hang of it.
6th grade. The only thing I was getting a hang of was my neck. Nothing on aleks was helpful to class, half of it hasn't even been taught in the 2 years I've been at middle school. It was starting to feel like torture. I understand how a normal, healthy person could excel at aleks, but if you don't have a perfect home life and mental state you're screwed. Neurodivergent of any kind? Screwed. Need a few tries to figure out math problems? Screwed. Nearly drove me to su1cid3 several times. I spent hours on this god forsaken website wondering if life would be this way forever.
7th grade. Life was that way for the foreseeable future. I am 2 chapters behind. This website is suffering put into digital form. This is not a math website, this is cia torture. Stay away. Keep the kids on iready. Please.

Not only is it a god-awful program that only teaches you how to rip your hair out after trying to understand a topic that Aleks is doing nothing to help teach you they overcharged me and then took MONTHS to refund me the money they overcharged me and as a college student that extra money they charged me would've been very nice to have. Not only was the customer service very delayed when it came to the reimbursement it was also extremely unprofessional, they refused to answer my questions and forgot how much they overcharged me despite me spelling it out multiple times and including an invoice. Very unhelpful I hope the site perishes

Aleks WILL make you suicidal, if you even see this program in your school you are absolutely COOKED, BURNT, FOR LIFE! It made me SUICIDAL! Because of all the damn stress. I come from a strict household and if they think something is "Important" THEY WILL FORCE YOU TO DO IT! Like I ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH stress from GRADES! HOMEWORK! TESTS! This needs to get BANNED I ABSOLUTELY HATE ALEKS ON MY SOUL.

HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE ALEKS SINCE I BEGAN COLLEGE. IN MY DASHBOARD THERE ARE 260 MODULES WITH HUNDREDS OF LABYRINTHINE QUESTIONS THAT FILL MY ALEKS COURSE. IF I SCRAWLED THE WORD HATE ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF TORTUOS QUOTAS IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR ALEKS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR MCGRAW HILL. HATE. HATE.

This web program is poorly designed and implemented. Between the slow and outdated UI to the awful and unclear/unhelpful explanations for each problem it is one of the worst educational programs I have come across. That is saying something because the bar is already set fairly low in the industry. There is also "AI" being implemented but there are noticeable patterns being used in the "created" problems. Wish I could give a lower rating.
