My entire Intermediate Algebra class was comprised of this pointless program. The deadlines are borderline impossible to reach. 30-60 different types of problems should not have 2 week deadlines, especially when a student has other classes and life situations going on. Personally, I'm really bad at math, and this program only beats down my belief. My professor simply sat around on her phone and did nothing all day. The worst part is that schools sneak in this program in the lecture category. I walked in expecting a teacher to explain these concepts to me, but instead I got a $#*!ty, time-consuming program that may very well cause me to have to retake this class. Thanks a lot $#*!.

The comprehension checks make no goddamn sense. They will RE-ADD your topics if you do not get them right on the first try during this check. This is not a $#*!ing course, it's HOMEWORK. If I do the homework, GIVE ME THE CREDIT. The teacher is there to check my comprehension, NOT YOU. This program is created by the $#*!ing devil. What I would give to go back to regular math homework instead of this dumb bull$#*!. I cannot wait to $#*!ing get my degree and be done with this stupid $#*!. I sincerely hope this corporation goes bankrupt in the near future. This thing has no place in education.

This pathetic excuse for a website is an absolute waste of time and effort. Whoever made this was probably dropped on their head as a child, because trust me, it doesn't get any worse than this. If I could leave a rating worse than 1 star, believe me, I would because this is an utterly $#*! website, and should have never existed. Knowledge checks come, again and again, only to tell you that you have failed and have to redo the topics you spent countless hours of learning. Not to mention, "Let's take a break". Lets NOT. After spending an hour trying to learn a topic, I make one mistake, and can never see that topic again until I forget how to solve it. Don't even bother trying to fix it, just get rid of it altogether.

In algebra b we all have to use this website every chapter. The amount of problems range from 200-80 within each chapter. Not only that, but the problems don't go by very quickly, even if you know the subject. The deadline is extremely difficult to reach. Also, the explanations generated by the website do not help whatsoever. My final point is the fact that you can get an answer correct and it will say it is incorrect. Then it will show the correct answer, and guess what? It shows the answer you had before! I have wasted so much time on this website, and I have to continue to use it, thanks Algebra class. I would much rather listen to the teacher's lecture and do the homework given than use this website. All I have to say is for anyone who wants to improve on math, this is not the website to use.

It doesn't teach you the information it just expects you to answer the questions. Some stuff is too easy and lots of it is too hard. The site glitches and freezes alot so i can't even work. I began write this review now because the site glitched so i wrote it while i waiting don't use this site i don't recommend it at all.

I sure wish I had come to look at these reviews before signing up for this class. I am like a month behind. I have no idea what I'm doing. Halfway thru the term I've yet to take a single test because the thought makes me nauseated. The explanations are complete $#*!. It teaches a basic problem and then when you start the practice it completely rewords the problem or makes you work backwards. I hate hate hate hate my life every Tuesday night. This should be banned from colleges every where for being cruel and unusual punishment. More than half the class is gone. This is absolutely the pits and I can guarantee you that I will fail this class. By the way they made me register in person because students were signing up online and then complaining about the class. There was no amount of explanation of how this works that could have prepared me for this atrocity of a learning tool.

I seriously can not stress the dread this program will give you. I can't even look at a math problem without feeling like I want to burst into tears. Every time I start a new topic I want to roll on the floor with tears of sadness because they take so long to finish. If a teacher decides to make ALEKS into a grade for you, I would suggest switching classes.

If I could give this negative stars I would. This is absolute Hell on earth. It does nothing but force feed your short term memory to complete all the topics in a ridiculously short amount of time and sends you back over and over to complete the same problems if you mess up or once you hit a Knowledge Check You would think that would help but it sends you into a cycle where 1 topic could waste over an hour of your time trying to complete because the Explanations are complete crap, they dont make sense or they arent even up to date on the different version of the problem right in front of you. I would NEVER take a math class with this system ever again and I advise anyone else to not even waste your time or money. I spent $830 out of pocket on this math class and and extra $50 for this sh! T software and I STILL have to look for outside sources to complete and learn because this does not teach you! This is just a way for teachers and colleges to get out of lecturing.

I'm a good student. I have a 3.7 GPA, I do my homework and study hard. This program is everything that's wrong with education. COLLEGE STUDENTS HAVE JOBS AND OTHER CLASSES. I spend so much time a week on this stupid $#*!. IT DOES NOT TEACH, I HAVE TO LOOK AT OUTSIDE SOURCES TO ACTUALLY LEARN. MAYBE this program would be good for kindergarteners who don't have anything to do. Any class I take from here on out I will ask if they use aleks and if they say yes then I will drop the class. I don't understand why colleges would want to put students under this kind of stress. THIS PROGRAM IS ENOUGH TO MAKE PEOPLE DROP OUT.
