We are university students taking Chemistry, if that sounds bad ALEKS makes it 1000x worse! It complains if things are correct, and marks you wrong (deducting a point), when it is not clear as to what it wants. If you click on the explanation, points will also be deducted. DO NOT USE!

I am a sixth grade math student and my math teacher believes this garbage can help us. Well she is wrong! Every time you get an answer right it gives you a point then when you get one wrong it takes the point away and this can be very frustrating to students and it can leave you in the dust! If you use the quick tables it is trash! I took the knowledge test and only got 6 problems wrong and now it says I know 34% of the fact. It ticked me off! There was over 100 problems! It never explains how to do things well and I get almost every question wrong! I am an all A student and this makes a big dent in my grade I have a C-in math write now and MATH IS MY FAVORITE SUBJECT!

ALEKS Have slightly one good perk and that's the reviewing, but as far as being a requirement for a college class, IT SUCKS. It wastes my time by forcing me to a halt. Incomplete assignments mean lower grades. I can't complete them because ALEKS way of teaching sucks sooo badly its unreal. The process of unlimited tries for half of the year and limited tries for the other half is such a confound move. How did i go from having a 98% in math class to a freakin 76%?!?! If i could I would give this all the Negative electrons in the world.

Seriously just don't, Captain America would say the f word. Whoever made Aleks is probably hiding in a bunker from the angry mob of sleep deprived students who want nothing more than to egg his face and force feed him sugarless gummy bears. Teachers only love it because they can sit back and surf the web while their students kill their own sanity. Also, the explanations are total crap, honestly, how can the creators sleep at night knowing their money is coming from these poor suffering people, the answer? They've become so money hungry that they have forgotten everything else and no longer care who is dying inside. In conclusion, YOU WILL FEEL YOURSELF AND YOUR SANITY WITHERING AWAY WHILE YOU SIT IN FRONT OF YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN FOR 7 HOURS!

Hey, thanks you horrible homework platform for giving me 350 topics that snowball into 1500 problems if you literally get every question right. Screw that, I'm not wasting my time with this garbage. I put my time into a little bit of tutoring and it helped me much more than this, I get B's now. If I get one question wrong while I'm learning each subject I would do an additional 350-700 questions because I can't move on without getting everything right. Is this an engineering class? No, it's college algebra. Sorry, I didn't think that I had to have a 100% to consider myself eligible to move on.

My son always has to do 3 topics every day because of his teacher. My son is not mentally dumb or anything. The problem is that the teacher teaches a topic a certain way or a different way, then when she assigns the Alex topics, the ways to solve the problem is different. Before, I thought it was alright if the solutions were different, but it turns out Alexs only accepts their way on doing the problem. So now my child and probably many other children are confused in math because of how irrelevant Ales is.

Sometimes, i'll use my own ideas to do the questions and even tho its right it will still count me as wrong... and the time goal system is just stupid. I got a 100 on my exam but bc of i didnt reach my time goal i still gets a A-. Everything is stupid! And the ceo is so ugly bruh! Before my school use ALEKS to "teach", I'll always get A+ on math, now its just a B bc of aleks. Fml.
