I have to use ALEKS for my statistics class and somehow it makes plotting a line graph the hardest thing I've done in college so far. I'm a junior in a STEM major with a 4.0. It marks entire questions wrong when one part out of six is incorrect and in order to redo it, after two wrong attempts, you have to get an entirely new question and redo the whole thing. It stole my evenings and made me fail two quarters. Schools reading this, PLEASE DO NOT force this program on your children. Just teach them from a book, the old fashioned way (which has been scientifically proven to be more effective than on a computer).
The program is really bad and slow it is made with no effort and needs to be taken care of. I hate this program and i think you should to.

ALEKS has been stealing my thoughts.
I had an idea that led to a new theory that disproved modern mathematics. And ALEKS did it first, by killing several million children who were forced to use the program. The deaths were ignored because subtraction had been proven false by the process.
I beg you, only use this program as a system to review what was learned in class. Otherwise, it may steal your revolutionary ideas and use them to commit mass murder of children's love of education and mathematics.

TONS of bugs! Knowledge checks should be optional, not mandatory, nonexistent even. Aleks has left me to feel so defeated, considering all the bugs. I'll get the problem correct, yet it states that it is incorrect, even my teacher has noticed this. When I do them correct and get them wrong, it causes me to believe I'm doing something incorrect, and I have to in some cases completely re-learn how to solve certain equations that I knew how to do the entire time.
This program tries to be hip and helpful to the newer generations learning math. The program has multiple bugs. I can't tell you HOW MANY TIMES I GOT THE ANSWER RIGHT, BUT THE PROGRAM MARKED THE ANSWER WRONG AND I HAD TO REDO THE SAME MODULE OVER AND OVER. YOU KNOW HOW ANNOYING THAT IS TO STUDENTS? Get your **** together. It's like this program I paid $150 was made by a child. You ever had a teacher that teaches you how to solve a very simple easy sample question, then on the test gives you a complicated quantum physics question? That's ALEKS. You thought you got your answer correct, but wait til ALEKS throws you a curveball and gives you a question unrelated to your current topic!
Garbage program for garbage community colleges that can't afford quality teachers.
Well, firstly, Aleks... is not recommended for basically anything.
First, it doesn't really use a great method of teaching and would give an explanation someone who's in high school could understand to a third grader learning how to multiply. That's not all, even if you do understand, the explanations are similar to a novel's length.
Second, knowledge checks. They don't do anything except make a huge, HUGE roadblock and take much more than 1 hour.
Third, it'll probably make any student kill themselves and or traumatized because of the pain Aleks implemented on them. If you (If you're a student) have the patience of Jesus himself, you can do this. Otherwise, if you're a mortal, just don't buy it.
Fourth, the pricing. It's kinda stupid. 100$ per 6 months. If you don't understand, people in college PAY for this and most likely they're broke enough so please don't make our lives harder, plus you can have another program, or two for that price.
Aleks gave me brain aids and ligma. This program is never related to any in-class material and is busywork and a huge waste of time. I am outraged just thinking of the hours and hours of my life I have wasted on this crap. I would rather microwave puppies and put baby pandas in blenders than do aleks. I just find comfort in the fact of knowing that the creator of aleks will be burning in their own little special part of hell. I will make it my lifes mission do destroy aleks and save future kids from the utter dispair of this deathtrap. In conclusion, aleks makes the holocaust look nice and hitler look like jesus. I just really wish that aleks had taken me to dinner before it butt-raped my innocence and spare time.- an anonymous outraged 16yo victim.

Stay away from this i was doing aleks 1 day and the boogie man caame out and stuck a 10 inch dildo up my $#*! help me please aleks is so scary..
