These lessons don't teach you anything. The only thing it was made for was to turn you brain to mush. The is website need a total make over. Get a better layout and whole set of new different classes that are easy to understand. Not only that I regret pay the $25 dollars cause these courses did nothing but give me depression and anxiety. These course make me feel like I don't know $#*!. Like come on, every time I put in the right answer it always wrong. $#*! this website man.

The entire site of ALEKS should be classified as unconstitutional as it is cruel and unusual punishment. Many schools use this website, which is highly unconstitutional. I would even choose IXL over this absolute piece of sh*t. If you are trying to learn math, don't use ALEKS as it will often decrease your math skills and make you highly depressed.

I would greatly appreciate whoever updates this site to stop subtracting points from the bracket you need to move on to the next topic. It frustrates me beyond belief--just because I get something wrong does not necessarily mean I do not understand the concept as a whole. I just want to move on through my objectives easily without being stuck on one for hours on end (because that has happened.) Also, add more detail into the answers explanation because I feel as if ALEKS tries to trick us in order to be stuck on a topic for longer. It does not explain how or way it got the answer as it did, and it just confuses me more. Thank you.

I swear I am going crazy. This BS. I take grade 9 math and I have always been top of my goddamn classes for years and now this is messing it up. PLus my teachers make me write all my work for them to get a grade even if aleks says it. How am i supposed o pass a topic whne i pick an answer and they mark it wrong but then i check their answer and ITS THE SAME F$#cking ANSWER.

ALEKs is the program for my Gen Chem I homework and this site is so disappointing! It takes hours to complete topics due to it 'erasing' your progress if you get one wrong answer, regardless if you understand the topic. And the most frustrating part, is the random knowledge checks that test you on everything you covered. If you dont master a topic on the test you loose all of your progress. These tests take roughly 2 hours to complete by the way. Absolutely terrible format for any class. The only thing ALEKs achieves is frustration and wasted time.

The only reason my school uses it is because they're locked into a contract with it but they still try to pass it off as "a helpful learning tool for our students". No, stop supporting it with bull$#*! data that you pulled out of your $#*! and admit you made a big mistake. What kind of masochistic person would use this willingly?

I'm taking a Pre-Calculus college course and this program is absolute bs. Its completely unclear on what order you're supposed to work in and (in my instance) the calendar with due dates is full of dates for the WRONG CLASS. I took a required quiz and it said I mastered 28 of the 32 required topics and those four I got wrong i need to review. Sounds pretty good right? Wrong. Somehow that equates to a 52%, displayed without a breakdown of the topics and their weights. It seems like all the work was put into the aesthetics of the site without paying mind to the actual mechanics.

Who ever created this site its horrible i can not tell you how much time i spent on this site suffering till 4 am in the $#*!ing morning to get assignments done and when im done they shove a knowledge check up your $#*! and you lose percentage then after you lose percents you get all the topics you hate back so they can come back and mentally skull $#*! you into spending more time to finish $#*! aboslute horror on this site do not recommend as another user said on this site I would rather get butt $#*!ed by bill cosby then do this curse fate and die
