If you want to save your mental health DO NOT go on ALEKS. This site is so useless it's more useless than a 1 year old doing the dishes. Honestly it's like I walked in to a pretend and play class taught by a 1 year old. I highly doubt you are just doing ALEKS for fun, but if you are because I do not know how you are not insane yet. If you are on ALEKS it's probably for homework from your math teacher or you got in trouble and you have to do this horrible website/ your mom or dad thinks this is a good website. But anyways if you want to waste your time doing this trashy website then go ahead. I bet you even the creator of ALEKS never even touches the site.

I cannot explain how this "program" gives me mental issues with procrastinating on how horrible it is at teaching users/students anything. Sometimes when I put in a right answer it marks it wrong! HOW CAN THAT BE WHEN MATH ONLY HAS ONE ANSWER. On top of that after you complete a plethora of topics it gives you a knowledge check where it tests you on things you haven't learned yet! When you get wrong answers on your knowledge check, it takes away from your pie(which is how many topics you have learned in total in the program).

You can WASTE a whole bunch of time doing only 15-20 topics a day, that time could have been spent doing better programs or studying for exams. I can tell you one thing, its that ALEKS only sets you back and wastes your time barely learning anything. This is a shout out to my ASU PD teacher. DO NOT USE ALEKS ANYMORE, YOU RELY ON IT TOO MUCH. ALEKS puts stress on me and makes me want to kill myself, It makes me feel like i cant be good enough because it takes away your progress if you get an answer wrong. I I get an answer wrong, IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I DON'T GET THE TOPIC AS A WHOLE. DAMNIT UGH!

For school, I am required to complete 10 Aleks topics a week. Have you know, this can be incredibly hard without proper guidance. This I do not have, as I complete most topics for homework alone. After answering a question wrong, Aleks doesn't really provide much of an reason for why said answer was wrong. Just a few words, and we're off! Their explanations are sparse and lacking. I am consistently left with questions after answering wrong! I wish Aleks where more similar to IXL, another program that explains why your own answer was incorrect, not just what the answer really is (Exactly what Aleks does NOT do.)

The Aleks exam is harder than any College exam I have ever taken. Not only is there no partial credit, but it also can NEVER tell you what you did wrong since you have no work to show for it. You cannot grow and learn from the aleks. It needs to be abolished from all schools.

I've had to use this for both my General Chemistry I and II classes and I can confidently say that this is most definitely the worst online classroom resource there is for students. It is the most tedious, and specific thing to use, and the flow that you would get with pencil and paper is gone. Aleks seek perfect work and gives no reward. It will erase all of your progress, hard work, and problem solving on one topic, and this isn't even mentioning the knowledge checks. A couple questions wrong, and there goes your aleks pie score, possibly hours of work vanishing before your eyes. Trust me, it's happened to me twice and we didn't even use knowledge checks for the first semester. Overall, I absolutely dread meeting the horrific monster later down the road, every time I work on what's assigned my stress levels rise so much, and this review is one of my only forms of letting that out.

This program is probably one of the worst I've ever used in my time. It only gets you so far until it basically just shoves it right in your face and expects you to complete something that you've never practiced. If you are looking for a mathematics program, please avoid this one. It stresses me out and always expects you to do perfect.

This is the worst math program I have ever used in my life. It was fine when my previous teacher would teach us first and then would put homework on the program, but my new teacher makes us do over 300 modules through this program and teaches us nothing. I remember back in Highschool when my teachers actually had to be able to teach you the stuff to be qualified, but I guess in college they hire anybody. Using this program has brought back my anger issues from when I was younger. Nothing else has done that until now. I hope you like failing a problem 3 times and not being able to practice it anymore because they force you to work on something else. Oh wait? The thing you are forced to work on now is a harder version of the thing you were already struggling with? Sorry loser. Hope you like that harder version because we won't allow you to go back to the easier version until you complete this harder version. None of this helps a student learn anything. Never use this program ever in your entire life.

Aleks is so fun! I want to go over to their headquarters and say hi! The person who runs this should hug me as I flip the switch to save countless young AMERICAN LIVES from the Naz- I mean aleks program.

Worst software ever people who use are just trying to be dddumb and i do not like how we do aleks toepics and they make me fuming mad geerrrrrr.

This program is absolutely awful. I'd rather watch paint dry while trying to asphyxiate myself because of the existential dread this program brings to me and countless amounts of other students. Helen Keller herself along with a schizophrenic toddler could provide us with a much finer, flabbergasting program. This so called "Program" is the embodiment of Hell and unspeakable distress not even outclassed by the acts of Hitler and Osama Bin Laden combined together. Would not recommend to anyone less than deranged.

This website makes me want to off my self. The way it does this is by having inconsistent useless problems that have no real point in my education. Most teachers use this site as a way of assigning homework without having to do any work. Believe it is a complete waste of money and time this was probably used to torture Jews in nazi camps.

ALEKS is so bad it doesn't help me learn as a 7th grader. It takes me around 20 minutes to finish one topic and I am told to do 10 a week. The explanations on ALEKS does not help me learn its words and the problems make no sense. Even for one little thing it makes it wrong even if it's still right and it doesn't say what I got wrong all it does is says "b: your answer is incorrect" AND IT IS NO HELP!

Aleks is the most cruel thing that a teacher can assign to their students. It literally has no connection to whatever we're learning in class, and the explanations assume that you have prior knowledge of whatever $#*!ty thing they are "teaching" so they are useless.

Alex is so frustrating, annoying, bad, stressful, expensive and overall just trash, never buy aleks it's not worth it AND SCHOOLS, PLEASE STOP USING ALEKS as a student myself i wanna die because of aleks.

Sometimes it will take an answer one way and other times it won't. (format) Its completely random and makes no sense sometimes even if you do the math right.

Only sets you back, the time wasted on 15-20 topics a day could've been uses for studying for test. It's terribly operated, explanations assume prior knowledge, which makes them utterly useless. Khan is better, a book is better, literally anything is better than a system with an erroneous algorithm that marks correct answers wrong.
