Ordering process was easy and price was good. Delivered in the time frame stated. Very positive experience and I would definitely recommend!
It was very simple and fast.
Good.i need this carport for a 32 foot recreation vehicle pull behind camper.please make sure it will fit.
The website is easy to use and your staff is very helpful and had all the answers for my questions. I'm very pleased!
Easy, everything works well on site, very satisfied with service and delivery
Ordering online is easy. No questions very straight forward. 3 person delivery and set up team. They knew exactly how to setup and install the car port. Took 70 minutes from their arrival to the time they were pulling away, very professional everything was cleaned up when they left, you would never have known they were here.
The carport we received was excellent. The installers did a perfect job with the installation. The installers were quick. It only took about three hours from start to finish to assemble a triple wide carport with both sides and back completely filled in and gables filled in. And the carport looks great. We are very pleased with how everything went. We would definitely recommend this carport to friends.
The site was simple and easy to use to select the options that we wanted.
The people that installed the unit did sloppy work. They also left metal pieces all over the driveway without cleaning up after themselves. Very dissatisfied.
The carport looks great and the price was very competitive. I will not use Alan's again because of Carolina Carports. Their guys were to come to me first thing Saturday morning after having to reschedule. I said I had a wedding that day so it may not work. The assured me I was the first on their list and it would only take about 45 minutes. No Showed! I kept waiting, called every number available but no answer because they don't work weekends! I missed the wedding waiting. They showed up the next day and didn't apologize, they just said their "first appointment on Saturday" held them up? I was told I was the first appointment. The installer had my number because he called me Sunday to say he was in my driveway. Why didn't he just call me. Training issues? I'll go local next time so I have more control. I know Carolina Carports is not Alan's but it still reflects on them if they are using this company.
Overall so far very good experience. Very helpful website.
Easy shopping, easy to select and build what you want/need.
It's a shame that when ordering that you can't get a delivery date. Living in northern N.Y. We were lucky that the weather was mild when they got here.
Other than that, I'm very satisfied.
The crew was hard working and efficient.
It was quick and easy.
Installers were well organized, efficient, and fast. I was very impressed with the team.
Good looking product
Hiding the tax amount till checkout was a little misleading. I thought there would be no sales tax but found out that only applies to gazebos. I won't know if I'm satisfied until the installation is complete. The "pick a state" is clunky, revising the cart items is a feature I would have appreciated and would have saved me at least an hour's time. MORE PHOTOS of metal garages (interior/exterior) would have been good. Youtube had lots of videos, but only 1 video for metal garage, and that was not a regular-style frame, which is what I'm buying.
****UPDATE**** The carport is very good and the garage, well, it's great although the roll-up door is very hard to latch shut. I mean you might have to get two or three people to help shut it at times. Metal is a little malleable in the walk-in door frame, so even though the door is locked, if it is cold and windy, it will just swing open, so the walk-in door is a liability if you are worried about burglars. I reckon I can find a solution to that, however. But I have other fish to fry right now. 3/5 stars overall for me. That may be good, considering the bad reviews from the installers that were local to me and who charged more.
So far so good, just hoping the wait is not long
Very pleased.
I waited and waited. If I were to guess, they forgot to schedule the instillation. The web sight said it would be installed in 4 to 6 weeks with a 10% chance it would be either a bit early or a bit late. In week 6 after I signed the contract I was told it would be installed with in two weeks and I would receive a call to schedule the instillation. No call and no instillation. I called back in week 9 asking what the problem was. Again, it would be installed within two weeks, and would get a call to schedule. No call. Late in week 10, I called back to ask why I didn't get a call. I got a very apologetic lady, who told me she was very sorry about the instillation and would call me back with the schedule. She told me it would be Monday of the next week, and I would receive a call from the instillation crew when they were on their way. On the Monday, by noon, I had not received a call, so I called to see if the instillation was still on, and was told it was and the crew would call. The crew showed up about 4:30 PM, but no call. They finished just as it got too dark to see. The actual vendor was Carolina Sheds and Alan's Factory Outlet sells on commission and Carolina Sheds subcontracts the instillation. If I get another shed, and I might, I will look for another vendor.
On line shopping is quick and easy... Wait time was exactly 8 weeks, Installation crew were right on time and in 3 hours job was complete. My driveway is on a hill that the crew had to back a long trailer up to get to the build site. Needless to say it wasn't the easiest job location and the crew worked around any obstacle they had to.I would highly recommend this Co. And will use again if needed..
So far so good, easy to purchase, lets see how it go's from here!
I had no idea when I ordered the carport that it would take over 2 months to get it.
Answer: I paid in October and it was installed in Dec last month.
Answer: Leave off the roll up doors. If you remove the Carolina doors you lose your warranty. But you can buy an opener and modify it so it maybe would work and lose your warranty on the opener if it quits.
Answer: No they deliver when they get 5 or 6 more buildings.
Answer: They use shady install contractors. I bought a garage online from Alan's and was sent a contract with name Carolina Carports on it. They are a total joke with 2 out of 5 star review. They've been out twice and still unable to install tiny 18x26 on new slab. I wouldn't hire them to put up a doghouse.
