Aiseesoft advertises that their "iPhone unlocker" can help with changing the apple ID of an iPhone with lost password and to activate it. But 2 paragraphs they state the opposite, that the software can't be used on unactivated iPhones. But the first paragraph is very prominent and the second sentence is in smaller print and hidden away in a 5 bullets list (last entry).
When one uses the software for "wiping" the passcode, it loads a brand new iOS firmware on the phone and thereby deactivates it. It then can't continue to do anything helpful.
This is absolutely misleading and the software doesn't properly warn about this either. I was naive enough to purchase the software, since Aiseesoft "offered" a 30-Day-Money-Back-Guarantee. This has to be put in big air quotes. The customer "service" was just brushing me off with pointing out, that it would have stated, that it can't be used on unactivated phones. The software itself creates the situation that it can't help anymore. Well played. I hope that my PayPal complaint goes through and I get my money back. Stay away from this borderline fraudulent company and safe yourself a bunch of troubles...

Horrible company. I had ordered an ipad unlocker program from them. The advertising was misleading and it made my ipad useless to me. When I ordered it, it said I had 60 days to get a refund if I was not satisfied. I submitted a refund request and they gave me the run around for 4 days. Then, refused to refund me. Don't buy anything from this company unless you want to lose your money.

The software does not work at all and they REFUSED to refund me and they have AWFUL customer service!
I only give it one star because I couldn't give them zero stars really they deserve ZERO stars!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They put a very misleading 30-day money back guarantee on their website to encourage you to feel confident in purchasing their privacy-invading, info-collecting software. After purchasing, I noticed that the software is asking some info during activation which are not necessary for activating the software.

My expectation is that I will receive a product key - which is the standard however, they are also asking for my email address. Initially, I raise this "light" concern of mine as to why do I need to provide my email when activating the software? If their response was valid, I wouldn't really mind it. However their response further raised my suspicion that they will use my email illegally and the software may collect unncessary information from my devices. These was their responses:

To which I answered - What abuse are you talking about? If the key is good for 3 activation then it should stop activating at the 4th attempt. Microsoft has been selling product keys for over 30 years and it will stop working once activation is consumed. What key abuse will happen?!

"we can locate their detailed order information with their email account and then offer further help asap."

To which I answered - How can you locate the order information via the email I will provide with this license If I will use another email that differs from the email I used in purchasing? Why is it that the email I used in purchasing which I already provided, not sufficient to connect this license to the purchase considering that you technically sent the license to that email?

The responses above further fortified my believe that the company is shady and the software SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED. Furthermore:

1. There is no disclaimer as to how they will use your email when you input it on the software.

2. Company info is shady. They do not follow GDPR and further research on the company - there is no company profile. No address, no HQ, no CEO, no information whatsoever.

3. The shady 30-d money back made me suspect that they are scammers hiding behind a "software" company. I lost my trust when one of their agent, Ryan said that:

"We do not honor the refund unless there is a bug in our software"

Hence, technically - there is no refund as they had already fixed any major bugs on their software over the years. They will only refund if there is a bug on their software which was misleading as there is no single disclaimer page that talks about their refund policy.

Because of this experience, kindly beware of this company. I have a strong feeling that the software they are selling are intrusive and collects information without your knowledge. The mere fact that their company has an empty information footprint - not knowing who runs it, not knowing people behind it, not knowing where they, the country of origin etc. further raised my suspicion that THEIR SOFTWARE MAYBE UNSAFE TO USE.

I am a professional video creator with over 20 years experience with Adobe Premiere and Encore. Now that Encore is no longer being supported, I needed a new way to make professional Blu-Ray disks. I purchased "Burnova" knowing there was a "30 day money back guarantee" and soon discovered that the program was unable to meet my needs. When I asked for a refund, well within the 30 days, they gave me the runaround in a string of responses. When I told them about the limitations of the menu editing options, they said "we will make note of that on the next release of the product". I also continually got a "failed" message when trying to burn a simplified version of my program. After repeated tweaking of memory, and disk type, and output type, I had over 6 different "fails". I finally gave up and had to buy another program. They never gave me my refund. Instead they kept asking for more documentation so they could really pinpoint what was wrong even after I gave them the entire project log containing my entire history of my use of the product over a weeks time. They speculated it was a lack of memory problem, but failed to give me any specifications that would tell me how much hard drive free space I was supposed to have. (I was burning a 24 gb Blu-Ray disk and had over 45 Gigabytes of free space on my hard drive and still got "failed" messages without any further explanation as to why it failed). The tutorials do not explain how limited the program actually is, and there is little to no tech-support forums on their site. The manual for the software is literally just a few youtube videos. Oh I forgot to mention that the "create chapter" functions did NOT actually create any chapters on the menu. When I told them this, they completely failed to come up with a fix. I finally gave up trying to get my money back. If you want to make real simple programs this product may work, but I seriously doubt they will honor the "30 day" return policy.

The IOS program does no more than you can do with a basic update or restore built into the iPhone. They do not guarantee satisfaction. They delay, lie and make excuses and will not refund your money. Total rip off.

Tried their software but it didn't work at all. Did not uncover any lost text messages or phone numbers. Messaged them several times for a refund and they kept giving me the runaround asking for more and more information. Don't use their products.

I bought a bundle of 10 apps for 144 SGD from them but later found that most of them don't work (the first app I tried worked so I thought they are reliable and decided to buy the bundle because I thought some other apps are useful to me as well). One app (Slideshow creator) does not even launch after I install it. Video converter app is faulty as well. Contacted Support and they gave me some useless advices. After I realised they are a scam, I was concerned that the apps I had installed were not safe, so I had to uninstall them, even the app that was working. I regret that I didn't check them carefully before paying them. Please stay away from them and don't repeat my mistake.

I wanted a software that could create blu ray discs for family videos playable on normal blu ray players such as normal blu ray players xbox and ps4 players. Unfortunately this software is utter crap, the videos compile with the sound out of sync by atleast a minute from mp4 ( I also tried mkv) and also tried multiple times and in some players do not play at all - also tested the original files and the ISO image - orifinal files are fine, ISO image and burnt disc are out of Sync. I have contacted the customer support but i do not hold much hope for receiving a refund and i also do not trust this indian company so i have also CANCELLED MY CREDIT CARD! IN CASE THEY CHARGE ME AGAIN!. Consumer protection in India is utter crap, and most of the time you need to go through the courts to be able to receive a refund. About a month ago, I was looking for a video converter with the video compress function, I need to transfer the video from one person to another in my work. It's frustrating if you have to convert videos and compress them on different tools. I googled, then aiseesoft video converter ultimate came up, it disappointed me after installing, it didn't has the compress function, I contacted them, they just told me to wait. I thought maybe do the video jobs with different software was the final result. But early today I was told by aiseesoft support team that the compress feature has been added to video converter software I was interested in, like a dream came true.

Aiseesoft Screen Recorder really has saved me from headache during the virus-hit learning period. Since I own an iPhone and learn online classes on a Windows computer, manually writing down key points to my Windows computer is always an issue. Fortunately, this software has helped me out. Honestly, it's a hard time to request a refund from aiseesoft, fortunately i got mine at the end. During the troubleshooting, I gave all the information they requested, after figuring out their software cannot help me, they tried their best to apply a refund for me immediately after I request a refund. We all face many uncertainties due to COVID-19, I completely understand their position in regards to a refund, it's reasonable that they need to check all the possibilities may cause the issue when using software before proceeding a refund.

Ordered Aiseesoft mxf converter under the auspices of a 30-day money back guarantee. Found that none of the files rendered with the software (mp4, wmv, avi at various specifications) would sync with Pluraleyes in my video editor.

I requested a refund after a weekend of troubleshooting their software. I've wasted a substantial portion of my week explaining the situation about a dozen times to different people in their "support team." They've refused to issue refund.

The software is a joke and their return policy is, as well. Please avoid at all costs.
