We just now left Aerie…we were in line and the girl in front of us was taking a bit long. The manager moved us to the other side for another girl to get on the computer to check us out. She first couldn't long on…so we had to wait when we would have been checked out already by the other girl. Then, once we were rung up…it wouldn't let me pay…the idiot manager came back to help again. By this time 2 additional people had been checked out. I was very frustrated by this point…she made the comment…we're trying to fix it…that's not the point. You don't pull a customer out of line before you have everything ready to help them! And if you caused an issue…you should be more accommodating…very pathetic manager. Needless to say we left and didn't purchase anything.
I went to aerie and they had the best survive they asked me if i needed help finding anything and they showed me exactly where everything was and if they liked the material. They then told me that the leggings i had in my hand where coming out in a bunch of different colors and different styles. Best shoppin experience ever
Purchased $250 of Aerie merchandise online. Needed a different size in a few items and went to the store to return (Cool Springs Galleria, Franklin, TN). I was told that because about half of my items purchased and shipped from Aerie's website (3 tank tops) were actually from American Eagle that they would not return them at Aerie. Instead after waiting in line to make my return at Aerie, I was told they would return one of my items and for the rest to walk downstairs to American Eagle, wait in line again and make my return. When I questioned this, the salesgirl and then the manager stated that this was a new policy, they were short of staff, etc. So making these returns took more than 30 minutes. Not worth it to me to shop at Aerie with poor customer service and deceptive practices regarding returns. There are so many other places to shop.
I bought bras from Aerie. At first I had to return them because they run small, but then I got medium and am pleased. They feel so good on me, look gorgeous, and I got them cheap on clearance. It took only a week to get them and they are awesome. I absolutely love their bra style.
The site is so slow to load pages. You click on one thing (ex: sports bra) and it brings up a page with shirts. I tried using Chrome instead of Safari. Its no better. I eventually was able to add items to my cart, only to review the cart later and only 1 item was in there. It seems like they are severely lacking in the IT department! Crazy in this day and age.
I tried to cancel my order a few hours after placing it, as I found a better deal elsewhere. They told me there was nothing they could do for me because cancellations had to be within an hour of ordering.
So instead of saving us both the hassle of them having to process, package, and ship my item (none of which had been done when I tried to cancel my order), they made me wait for the products so I could send them straight back and wait another week (or more) for my refund. It's a ridiculous policy.
Aerie products are fantastic- order it in a month or two. Their systems are having glitches due to Covid and the customer service is pathetic. Don't expect to see your order. I have been a loyal aerie customer for years and will continue to buy from them in the future, but as of right now- trust me, stay away. Literally worst customer service I've ever seen, borderline comical to be honest.
A full month late, my order that was supposed to have free shipping FINALLY arrived, but the delivery person asked me to pay for postage? I refused the product and asked them to send it back, which they didn't do. Aerie refuses to refund the order and now I'm out money with no product.
I ordered a bathing suit top, bottom, and a tank top from a big aerie sale almost a month ago. I end up receiving a t-shirt, a tank top, and a pack of socks that was supposed to be delivered to a girl in IN. I call and a girl told me she would send me a return label for those items. After waiting 10 days for the label, I called again to talk to another lady who continued to send me the label and tells me she will give me the $35 refund and I will have to reorder. (major inconvenience because now I won't have this bathing suit for my beach trip in 2 weeks) I call again when I realize the $35 won't even pay for the exact three items I ordered in the first place. The employee tells me that only one of my items is still in stock and the others probably won't be in stock for 2-4 weeks but he has no way of knowing when things will be restocked. I am not put on a list to receive these items when they are restocked, I have to watch for myself for them to be restocked, and wait for 20+ minutes to order my things at the discounted price I had originally ordered the items at. Very disappointed because I am always impressed with aerie's in-store service and quality...
I'm sitting waiting for my friend to try on her clothes and I get told to leave cause there are other people in there whom I CANT SEE since there are curtains. First of all I'm GAY I take this to heart and find this so disrespectful to me that I'm being treated as a sex offender in a way. Next time this happens I'm not leaving and if they have a problem I'll just write another review. I get that girls need privacy but I'm into MEN so unless there are sexy young men changing in there IM NO HARM TO ANYONE! Thanks for your time and make sure to change your policy cause it's 2019 grow the $#*! Up!
- I was hired for part time work and told my boss I needed 20-25 hours a week. I also expressed that if American Eagle upstairs needed stock help that I would be happy to do so, and that I was willing to work replenishment shifts on the weekends.
- My manager hired me and upfront told me that she was looking for a new stock lead, completely trashing the one before me as if she'd been fired. Turned out she still worked stock like I did. After my first week, my manager told me that she loved my work ethic and that she wanted to observe for another week before officially making me stock lead. After that I never heard a peep about the stock lead position until the girl I was working with was suddenly called "Stock Lead" a month later and when I asked her, she said "I've always been stock lead."
- This particular week I was on all 5 days. On Monday I was taken off the schedule, then checked the schedule on my way to my 2-hour class to see they'd put me on without even contacting me an hour after my class ended (which isn't even enough time for me to travel home)
- The next week I was called every morning to be told my shift was cut by saying "we have no shipment today." One of these days I was called at 4pm, while I was napping in preparation for my overnight shift. Therefore ruining my entire sleep schedule for a job I wasn't even working.
- The next week I was given 2 shifts and called both days and told they were cut.
- The next week I was given one shift that was cut.
- The next week they didn't even bother to put me on the schedule.
- After I was employed with the promise of good discounts, the company decided my store was no longer receiving clearance. And any deals like BOGO can only be used if you don't use your employee discount.
I've tried many different styles and brands of underwear from many places with varying price points and for everyday functionality you can't beat Aerie. I am not a regular American Eagle customer but I tried the underwear after a friend recommended it. If you want something cute that holds up and doesn't ride up, give them a go. Online orders ship within a few days and they have a reward program.
So it's cute stuff and generally good quality, but they need more sizes. No 38A, girls with small ribcage and large cups think it's hard to find sizes? Ha, try being a 38A or even 36A. There are many websites dedicated to large cups but nothing for smaller cups large ribcages. The 36As sell out so fast it's incredible. Unless you plan on buying it when its brand new and full price you arent getting it. I am sure larger busted women also feel more sizes would be great. And more stock of sizes like 36A that are constantly selling out.
I love the items they sell. Super soft and comfortable. Just like with American eagle they provide great tracking and customers service. Definitely a good company to order from.
My wife and I like to shop aerie.com, it is fun and we enjoy the products that come in. They are not trashy and overpriced, and value real women.
So as of yesterday 03/07/2017 I was wearing a Emma bra and the bra burned my skin. Now I've been buying from aerie for years and this hasn't happened to me before now I am completely unhappy because I model and now I'm gonna have to have super edits. I am Unpleased with experience and I feel I need to be reimbursed for this expensive bra. Smh I am truly not happy
www.aerie.com is not very user friendly. The website is safe, but the digital layout is poor and hard to navigate. All in all, this website is good, but it could definitely be a lot better.
