A.F.F. Blocks and bans accounts at random for no reason. This has happened to me five times in one month. And they wont tell you why, or what you are doing wrong. After a few days of registering, you'll get a msg. Saying your log in info doesn't match their record when it actually does. So don't purchase a gold membership. You'll be banned after 3 or 4 days and you wont get a refund.

Yes, it's legit but how good is it?

I signed up a month ago. My experience is limited. Most of the responses I received were either from scammers or prostitutes. If you were a woman, you would find me very boring and undatable. The few real women I met, stopped communicating with me (as they should) after few messages. Those who didn't, were scammers. They ask you to move to a different platform to get you to send them money. They claim to be registered nurses who volunteered with the unicef to save children's lives. I received so many of those messages/emails you would think there's a special sale going on in the unicef these days. The website doesn't seem to track scammers or do anything about it.
The site suite those who seek wild stuff better. Group sex, couples, sadism/masochism, bandage... ect.
Expect an ample of nudity.
The site doesn't accept prepaid gift cards but accept regular credit cards and stores gift cards. For store gift cards, they'll use the entire balance.

Joined with sincere intentions of meeting local and possibly distant women. Every woman I met and exchanged personal emails turned out to be fake profiles and scammers trying to swindle money from me. I reported this several times to AFF but they never responded. Other women that I exchanged messages with quickly remove or shut off their profiles. Another disappointment. The rest of the prospects are overweight, skanky women, covered with tattoos looking for hook ups. UGH! You're better off trying to meet women in the bars. I will never give AFF another penny.

No matter what the top ten internet hook up sites tell you this service is fake! At least it only cost me a $25.00 gift card to find out for 18 days. Profiles are fake and no one responds to you. 105 contacts made of women my age and in my scope of dating in the three major cities around me. I got 3 automatic replies of not checking emails at the moment. 2 replies, that I'm sure from fat guys from India somewhere with poor English acting like they were the women I reached out to asking me to connect with them with my personal email. However, admittedly, I did receive one message from a very polite woman that replied that she did not date guys from out of town. The odds were 1 in 105. All profiles are out of date and probably never removed to look like there are a lot of members. You also get 20-30 emails a day of supposedly women that are checking you out that are young and model material. Save your money!

I used this website back in the late 90s, before bot technology has evolved to what it is today. In todays climate this website has no real users whatsoever. NEVER spend a penny on personals websites, they are all fake now.

Probably 80% of the female profiles on this site are scammers, bots or sex workers. Also fake accounts set up by AFF with amazing pics of fantasy sex gangbangs etc to make you think it could really happen for you.

The remaining "real" accounts are not serious about meeting just want sex chat or just people trying to get followers for their own ego.

Also, they claim to be one of the best dating/hookup sites but don't have an app? Why is that? Because they dont want millions of negative reviews on a well known popular platform or website Google Play or Apple Store.

I am a very good looking guy posted alot of pics and content and have been on AFF for several months now and havent met anyone IRL or even chatted with any real profiles off site. Only Scammers.

I clicked on the 1 month premium membership and they charged me for 12 months and did not reply to my inquiries about a refund.

The whole site is ridiculous, having been based in Brighton and looking for members within a 50 mile radius, over 90% are listed from coming from Aldershot in the UK for some reason? Aldershot -Surrey, Aldershot- Sussex, Aldershot - Liverpool, Aldershot -Hampshire, Aldershot -Italy, Aldershot -London, and so it goes on. Either move to Aldershot where all these bots come from, or don`t waste your time signing up in the 1st place. The latter is the better of 2 options.

They banned me for absolutely no reason and refused to give a refund. Not to mention, before I was banned I noticed all the women are fake accounts. This site is a scam. Don't give them a cent!

I've been a customer for 7 years (this go-around). My credit card expired. They didn't bother to alert me and instead allowed it to lapse so they could conveniently charge me more. For customer "service" they use low quality off-shore labor and in order to look at your account, you have to give them your password. What type of low quality operation is this? I tried three different email forms to contact them - one worked. Everybody just says "I cannot change it". If you find a better site, run the other way from these guys. They don't value you as a customer. In fact, if you find another site that works better and actually cares about quality, LET ME KNOW. I've had it with these unethical slime balls.

This site has been around for ages, and I'm sure at some point in the distant past it may have been "the world's largest adult community", but there's hardly any active users on there. Most would have been roped in to sign up and then realised that the site is barely usable without a paid membership (which isn't exactly cheap). It's anyone's wonder these guys still exist, when there are so many better FREE alternative hook up apps available.

AFF is a bot/scammer site. Every profile I've interacted with has asked me to add them on another platform just to chat. Some bots don't even try to hide the fact they're catfishing (profile is that of a man, but the bot is sending you pictures of an OF model)

After weeding out and blocking all the bots, all that's left are people that can't possibly be real. AFF advertises as a casual sex site, but 99& of the profiles (that actually have a Gold membership) are from people literally looking for love... I swear. And it's not a particular type of profile. Doesn't matter the age, body type or location, most of those particular profiles demand to be swept of their feet, teased intellectually and swooned like prince charming.

The DTF profiles and "need it rn" don't answer back because most of them don't have Gold status. So even if you send them a message, or flirt with them, the person on the other side won't see it and won't be able to respond. So you all do the math.

The site claims it's free, but you can only communicate and hookup with people that pay. The people that pay are way past the margins of reality according to their own profiles because they want a connection you can only get through marriage while claiming to be ready for casual sex and exploring new things. And tech support does not help. I've reported many profiles and all of those profiles are still up.

So save your money. Stick to MAs, LL and wtv isn't complicated in the process. If these dating sites were serious about making money, they would charge a monthly subscription up front instead of claiming free but charging just to read a message. When you take it all in, these kind of sites could not have possibly been created, managed, or used by women. I think it's bunch of men at the top and mostly men behind the fake profiles trying their best to keep up the illusion that at some point, you can score, but all they do is lead you along.

I would rename this site into ScammerFakeFinder. They have incredible variety of scammers who run rampant and feel just great there. I had been looking for a long time for a site or app without con artists and i don't know if such site exists but it's definitely not AdultFriendfinder. If you are in your 40's or 50's it's a problem to set up a date with a 25 year old. When I tried to do this in AFF, I only had to deal with scammers or ugly fatties. That's why I left it without regret.

AdultFriendFinder's conception sounds good in theory but fails terribly in implementation. I wish they cleared out all scammers but nothing deters them from getting on AFF. I prefer to use these other platforms instead of AFF, they are just time-saving because you don't have to waste months and years on sorting out all the scammers who have many slick schemes to fleece you out of your money.

I signed up for a 1 month trial for 30$. Was instead charged 60$ twice. Called customer service and got a disrepectful indian who cant even speak english. He hung up on me. Maybe if this company stopped outsourcing to sand coones maybe youd get a better rating. $#*! aff

I tried to sign up for a Gold, one-year membership this morning. It says on the web page that it cost $107.40 for this membership. I tried to use my cc to pay for it, but my bank blocked it as a potential scam. US Bank's automated system called my phone and asked me to verify 3 transactions The first of three was a $240 that was attempted by this site. The second was a charge of $214.80 also from the site. The third charge was for less than $1. I contacted AFF Customer service and asked them why they were charging me so much more money than what it said on the sign up page. The CC agent stated that I was signing up for two memberships and the "standard contact" option. There is/are no option(s) on the sign up page to sign up for multiple memberships (why would I even WANT to do this?), OR "standard contacts"! This is false and misleading and these people should be brought up on charges!

Just like the subject. With that, I'll add I've fooled with this in the past and not even one week, I was with someone. The last time I gave it a go with no issue was 2016. The two times after was in 2020 and 2021 and it seems to be fake asf now. I'll pass indefinitely after reading the other reviews below.

Mere rip off. I use JoySexFun.com as the easiest way. They have so many gorgeous sexy girls and it's possible to meet some of them in real. This is something that really works.
