We're having problems with our alarm that keep on beeping for 3 weeks. We requested for technician to fix it. They drag you around and guide for troubleshooting. When you talked to they're customer service they hang up. Looks like they don't have manner's. Is this a good security system that you have a problem they don't take care of their customers. Hope they don't get next month bill. That our system is no longer in our house.

I am currently a customer and want to get rid of ADT. Very worst services.
I have recurring issues, the technician comes and clears the message and goes off, same day the fire message pops up without any fire in the home, thy again charge money to secure another service call and this is continuing since 1 year. Very bad company to go with ADT. I would never recommend ADT.
Customer service - every day you try any time you have to wait minimum 45mins. Very sad that I signed contract with these useless people. Waste of money and time.

These are crazy contracts. I purchased over $900 worth of equipment and signed (without realizing it) a 5 year contract. Life happened and I needed to sell my home quickly - ended up with a ridiculous buy out.

Worst 8 years of service

I was a loyal customer to ADT with 2 home and 2 business locations. Today I cancelled my last home account and the remaining ones and switched to Ring. ADT customer service has been rude, arrogant and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. I had an issue with my doorbell cam. They charge me $63 to come out to look at it and "fix it". It never got fixed. The issue continued through the last 6 months. When I called to initially cancel they did not even offer to take that fee off immediately. NO. When I called to cancel TODAY now they offered me a new camera and to waive that fee. I did not break the camera, it just stopped recording. I did nothing I never even touched the settings. PLUS it took them almost 2 weeks to come out. They locked me into a contract for 3 years at my new house. My office I was so upset we actually paid the 70% or whatever it was of the remaining contract to get out of this. Crooks with horrible customer service, no follow up and hands down the worst business practices I have ever seen. They will never see a penny from me again in my home or business.

Bait and switch

I had a number of low battery messages but I did not know which monitors were malfunctioning. I called and was told we can do this virtually and batteries would be mailed to me (free under my plan) or for $59 someone can come out and put the batteries in. No mention of a charge for labor.

I chose the $59 to save me the trouble of going up a ladder at my age. The bill comes and it is for more than $200, batteries plus labor.

I have now spent three hours bouncing from one department to another, long wait times. And no one seems able to resolve this. I have asked them to listen to the original phone call to no avail.

The worst service of the all liars. I just got this service hooked up to my cameras and not working I was told to get a Wi-Fi extender which I did still not working I was told I was getting three cameras and when they came to my house I only got one and I had to go buy the second and they gave me the third for free but the second was double the price the managers name is JP complete idiot and I've just cancel the service it's been two days and now I'm waiting for a call with the can come and pick up all the equipment. Don't ever go with this company

Horrible horrible horrible no good

You spend hours on the phone speaking to rep after rep each one telling you different things.to the point you don't no what to believe. They don't want to send no one out the fix the problem they want you to fix the equipment by mailing you the kit to fix it also when they finely send someone out you will be waiting a whole week before someone comes to your house.and hope that you really do have an appointment because I waited for a technician to come out and no one came out had to end up calling to find out that no one was coming. DO NOT GET ADT SERVICES! THEY ARE HORRIBLE! I and now that I want to cancel they want to charge me 2,690 some dollars for getting out of contract

I open my account 3 years ago and when it comes to customer service it suffers badly. My business close down because COVID and simply wanted to cancel our service, but in no way were they going to do that. In one call alone I was transferred 3 times. That last was an experience I never want have again. In the second call I was transferred immediately and waited eternally and after 3 years I realice the open 2 accounts for me in the same address! Crazy and no one can help me so they ask me for 1255. 00 to cancel my extra account like 2 electrical account in the same address and they never tell me nothing. Never again will I ever use ADT as my security provider. Again. In the second call I was transferred immediately and waited eternally before hanging up. Never again will I ever use ADT as my security provider.

I have spent half my day on hold with ADT. My system is not working correctly and after three times trying to fix it on the phone I was told I would need to wait on hold another half hour to get an appointment. At that point I wanted a manager. The manager never came on hold for more than an hour and a half. While waiting, I researched other companies. I called back to cancel ADT. I was transferred multiple times. A service representative is supposed to come tomorrow. We'll see if this works. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible service!

CALLED TO CANCEL MY SERVICE WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR 2HOURS AND 45 MIN FINALLY REACHED THE RIGHT DEPARTMENT. THEY STATED I HAD A CONTRACT THAT ENED IN 6 MONTHS AND THEY COULD GIVE ME A DISCOUNT FOR 19.00 A MO. IF I KEPT IT. IF NOT THERE WOULD BE A 300.00 CANCELLATION CHARGE. 19.00. FOR 6 MONTHS IS 180.00. THIS FRUADULANT COMPANY HAS TO BE THE WORSE COMPANY THERE IS IN MY OPINION AND ANYONE WHO GETS IT SHOULD SEEL MENTAL KEALTH... BEWARE...

If I can leave -5 (minus) stars I will, I had a contract with them, then I sold my apartment and they told me to avoid the cancellation fee is better to go with Blue By ADT for my rental, that what I did, after calling ******* times to make sure everything is good and they confirmed it.
A year later I am receiving calls and mails from these companies that collect payments saying that I have a balance with ADT and I have to pay it if I don't want get in trouble!
I called a*******000 times giving them my client number with Blue By ADT, the date of activation of the new service but nothing, I am still receiving mails from asking for payment.
The worst company on this planet, the worst service and don't control with them!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Called to canceled my account and was blasted with numerous questions. I told the rep several times to "Please just cancel my account" but she kept speaking over my statements and even told me I was rude for not letting her talk. NEVER AGAIN will I use ADT

Horrible Company

We just spent over 3k to get out of our contract. Our equipment never worked properly from the beginning. I worked with multiple managers and even tried to cancel during our 6 month window. The manager Tyrone promised to cancel my equipment fees and put me on month to month. After a couple of bills when this didn't change he no longer took my calls and customer service said I would have to pay full price to get out since the 6 month had now passed. This is the most unethical company I have ever even heard of.

Worst Customer Service

My 89 year old mother called ADT to cancel her account because she has terminal cancer. After 35 minutes, explaining over & over again why she needs to cancel, the 4th person she talks to says "Can you hold on, I need a minute, my mother died of cancer", put her on hold again! Forty five minutes of BS while my mother is sitting here dying. And they have the audacity to say there is a 30 day cancellation policy. She will be dead: good luck with that.

They charge you for cancelling for ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY LEAVE even they they say they don't. Now I have to engage a lawyer, send demand letters for all recoded calls and argue over the phone with a representative that tells me " I have no grounds," (as if he is a judge and can determine that)- idiot.
My son sold his home due to a 4 year military commitment, they will not waive the $653 cancellation fee. This is wrong on so many levels. Not to mention … I transferred the freaking service to a lake house of ours to avoid the cancellation fee. They are still getting our money. This company has no morals. ADT does not know "the right thing to do" and lies to get service "transferred"- when it's just a new service and new commitment. How can I trust them to be there in a emergency when they 1) don't have equal and fair pricing ( I have 3 homes. And the cost varied considerably and was more expensive in my homes located in lower income areas). 2) they do not honor military deployment cancellations - even thought they are supposed to 3) I was told if I transferred my service to my other home there would not be a disconnection fee.
They care about your money… not your safely and security

When I sold my house, I had numerous reps call and I told each one to cancel my service as I did not need it anymore past March 18. The second sales person said the first person never canceled it but he would be sure to cancel it. He also sent in the mail a letter asking me to give his card to the new homeowner. Oh how I wish I had kept that letter. Now it's August and I'm being billed for $449. I have sent them letters saying that I don't own the home and I canceled the service in March. I've tried calling customer service, which is ridiculous because you have to stay on hold forever, and I'm still getting a bill. I had no equipment to return as I used the equipment that was in the house when I bought it. I will NEVER use or refer anyone to ADT! My issue is still not resolved!

Horrible Experience

A. D. T has been great!. The other week I set the alarm. And I go for a walk I'm back 40minutes later and It's disarmed The alarm said "Warning Fire" No fire and when I go to the security panel it's been open. The back door was open too. The alarm has been a really horrible alarm. The alarm randomly set's off. And now thanks to ADT I paid 3900$ For this stupid thing to get un-installed

What is the purpose of having insurance with ADT? I called about a battery needed for my sensor and was charged $59.00 for an onsite assessment. I wasn't able to remove the sensor cover myself and rather than break it I called the company. This is ridiculous to have to pay this charge, since I've been with ADT I've NEVER had an out of pocket expense, again what good is it having insurance?

I would also like to state that the tech that came to my house wasn't friendly in fact a bit rude. He acted like he lived at my house and that he knew where to go once he arrived. When asking him a question about the sensor in the basement he had an attitude, very unprofessional! Out of all the times ADT has come to my residence this by far has been the worst! ADT's service isn't what it use to be!
