First of all when I first went onto the site they had a popup that said " Give us your Email and your first purchase will be only 24.95" So I did enter my email and then pick out an item. Later on I realized that I had some store credit showing. When I called to see why I had that, they said that I had signed up for a VIP membership and they will charge you 35.95$ a month. Apparently when I purchased my item, I had to choose to PAY AS YOU GO, but since I didn't even see that option I checked out my item for 24.95$ That set me up for the membership. When I told them I want to cancel that, I had no idea that I had done that, the lady told me " do not worry, you won't be charged." The next day the money was taken out of my account! I called them back and they were EXTREMELY RUDE, three different people would not let me speak to a manager, they had made my bank account go into the hole and all they would say was oh we are so sorry! I didn't get the money back into my account for two days, I had a fee through my bank and everything! Customer Service treated me like a was a MORON for not understanding their stupid VIP membership which I saw NOTHING about when I ordered my item! DO NOT SHOP HERE! BEWARE!

It seriously doesn't get any worse than this. I purchase $200 worth of lingerie. It came in the mail, and the quality was so $#*!ty, so I returned said items. Afterwards, I was charged 39.95 for some VIP bs. Anyways, they said the returned lingerie was not sanitary and it will now cost $8 to send it back to me. So I paid that. I talked to my bank and before the end of this month I will be canceling my credit card information and closing all accounts associated with this website. I feel like this website is fraudulent. Wish I had googled reviews for this website before taking my coworkers word for it.

I reviewed this about a month ago. Here is an update. Adoreme replied back, but has not taken any action. I have lost both my $200, cc #, and all the lingerie that was sent back. It was not a hassle to have a new cc sent to me, but the rest is. I appreciate this 'reply', but I need either the lingerie sent back to me or my money back. This is absolutely ridiculous. Thus, I feel like nothing will happen and have lost hope in the whole situation.
Update: April 29,2014.
After emailing them back to ask for a status update, they got back to me. I was refunded for all but 2 sets. They gave me 2 promo codes for 2 free sets. I am a happy camper now. I honestly thought I lost my money and my lingerie. Thank you Adoreme.

I was able to choose from several options in my size and it arrived promptly & was wrapped in tissue paper in a box. Looked great.

I received the lingerie in a damaged state. I returned the item. We told me but it is damaged, it is normal I return it to you for that reason. We do not pay off when it is damaged. Then, the famous VIP subscription which we register you by default and which costs $39.95, in spite of an unsubscription, I was charged. After several attempts, I was credited for the famous cancelled VIP subscription. But now we charge me a new $15.00.The service department has the clientele is simply horrible. My order arrived on time, but I was apparently signed up for some VIP thing. I called to cancel the subscription because my wife and I can't afford a monthly expense like this, and I thought all was well, but then I got an email saying you were trying to charge me for the monthly subscription, but couldn't because you didn't have valid credit card data.
Your products are good, your customer support is good, but something somewhere in your process is not working right, and it stops me from wanting to recommend your products to others.

Stay away from this site! Terrible experience with this terrible company. First, I felt that they purposely trick people into the monthly subscription. When I called to acquire the 30 day store credit refund that they promise on their site, they refused to refund a February charge because it was "one month ago" even though it was well within the 30 day policy that they advertise. What terrible customer service and a bunch of crooks. I have opened a credit card dispute because of their outright refusal to follow their own policy. Will never shop here again.

I had an awful experience. Adore Me tried to make it look like they had a sale but then was charged a $40 credit to my account. They said their are no membership fees but a charge to your account seems like a membership fee to me. I called and customer service was so rude. She removed the charge but hung up on me after I was asking for her to cancel my membership. She said that I can't cancel my membership until March 26th. Ridiculous! When you order through a company, you should not be automatically enrolled into a VIP membership.

That's it. Beyond that, it's been a nightmare. We've called many many times to deal with this scam. They give you information about what they're doing with this first time VIP Membership--if you look hard enough. They know they're being misleading too. Otherwise, no one would buy these products at all. Customer Service on the phone must be busy nonstop with people just like me------they can't seem to answer the phone after 10 calls from me. Just a $#*!ty thing that has happened here. Seriously, I will give Victoria's Secret my money in person as opposed to dealing with this $#*! again.

What an absolutely, underhanded way to run an business. How DARE you all put such fine print on a monthly charge that substantial. After having so many people complain about the surprise VIP membership charges, it is UNFORGIVABLE that you wouldn't change the way you handle your service. My billing statements are mailed to my parents' house, as I am in a temporary living situation that is not attached to my billing information. When I receive my statements from the past 5 months, all at once, and find that I've been charge $300 dollars for a website I intended to use once, I am outraged! You may enjoy laughing at people who are too trusting to assume they will be scammed for taking advantage of a website sale, but as a college student with limited income and tuition payments I hope you all feel ashamed. I'm going to call customer service in the morning, but from what I've read I may be screwed already. I will never recommend this site, and I will happily steer others away from it.

I did not like that I was automatically enrolled in VIP membership. The first time I called to cancel, the customer service representative was very rude. She indicated that I would be refunded and then she hung up the phone without so much as a goodbye. The net time I called to cancel, the representative was more pleasant, but he did not unsubscribe me from my membership until I asked a third time if I was removed from all memberships and future monthly charges. I'm sure that's how he was trained, but I felt as though I was tricked.

Bought one corset that honestly wasn't bad. Like many of the reviewers said beware what you select because I selected the One Time Payment option then was promptly charged a VIP Fee the next month. Called guest service and tried to be understanding about the issue but the awful customer service made the experience all the worse. I hate leaving bad reviews but in this instance I have to.

Answer: I was on hold for 30 minutes for 3 days in a row with no answer. I didn't speak to anyone. I was told through messaging with a stylist on the webiste that i could not call and speak to a manager. I did speak with a manager the last time i called and actually got through, because I was having a fit.
Answer: I contacted the BBB & AdoreMe chose to ignore my complaint. They never addressed my issue. This company should not be trusted & has horrendous & rude customer service.

Answer: Yes but they will keep charging her automatically if she uses it. If she wants to stop the automatic subscription she needs to spend it and then cancel her subscription after the stuff arrives. If they charge her again you can dispute the charge with them within 30 days to get a refund. Honestly you'd be better off letting your credit card company handle it/dispute it.
Answer: Keep calling. It's your only way to stop the madness. Insist on staying on the phone until you receive the confirmation email. Adore Me is the biggest scam ever. I'm reporting them to the attorney general.
