I have yet to be disappointed by this company. Everything is so simple and all of my deliveries come in a timely matter and a lot of my friends have been switching from Victoria's Secret to try Adore Me instead. Firstly, I live in Canada so upon my first order being received I had to pay $40 in duty fees to UPS. I received daily emails from the company regarding promotions so I unsubscribed, well then I no longer receives emails letting me know that I had been charged the monthly "VIP Membership" fee so that went on for a couple months without me noticing. Then when I noticed I had racked up a $100 credit, I emailed them to cancel my membership I was told I had to call. Their on-hold music/Katy Perry and some chick saying "Hey Adorable" every 2 minutes is probably the most annoying thing in the world. Then 20 minutes later when I got through I was told that if I cancel, I won't be able to use my credit and receive the VIP pricing. I asked for a refund and was told they could only refund the most recent charge. Then I went on and ordered a bra and panty set. Most uncomfortable bra I've ever worn, and again duty and taxes. Then I called back to cancel my membership and was on hold again for over 20 minutes, I got mad and left a detailed message for a call back. Then I also emailed them to let them know that I had left a message and didn't have time to wait on hold. This was on December 16th. I never received a call back! Then on January 5th I emailed again asking if someone could please call me back so I could cancel my account and I received an email response on January 16th letting me know that to cancel I have to speak to a customer service rep at 1-800... etc. Are you serious? So I called back today (Jan 16) waited on hold for 10 minutes (despite the 3 minute estimated wait time) and finally cancelled my account. In summary: If you don't have time to check every month and skip your VIP membership fees don't order from this company.

Please note that we offer a no-questions-asked 30 day refund policy for unwanted store credit. In order to be eligible for a refund of store credit beyond 30 days, you must write a letter or send an email to our claims department at [email protected] explaining the case and why you were not able to call within our 30 day limit to request a refund.
Moreover, regarding international custom fees, they are, unfortunately, are beyond our control. Any package crossing international borders may be subject to local regulations and fees. In Canada, this amount varies from 5% to 15% of the order price, depending on your shipping address. That said, we do our best to assist shoppers throughout the process! We understand your frustration and apologize for the inconvenience. You can ask for a readjustment of the custom fee by completing this form: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b2g.pdf and sending it to your CBSA Casual Refund Centre (address is at the bottom of the form).

I am so sad! I got my first set from adore me on cyber monday for 7.95, got it in, LOVED IT. I received an email on the tenth saying I had store credit for 39.95 and thought wow I get to see what else they have for me, awesome! WHAT I did not realize is this "store credit" is not store credit at all! As I've read from everyone else (a little too late) is that it's sort of like a membership fee from not visiting the website between the 1st and 5th of each month. They CHARGE your card the money anyways, so even though my order says $0.00 I got charged that. I'm FINE paying the price for things, but not when I thought I was getting it for free. I love the undies but I think the site should be way more up front about when to check your showroom, and being charged, AND what the REAL definition of "store credit" is. I do NOT think that adore me is a scam, the one set I have bought was amazing, but they definitely know how to trick you into thinking something that's not what it seems. I have a rental deposit to make and I was not expecting to lose $40 dollars. I knew it was too good to be true yall would send me a free set. I really wanted to keep buying from yall, Your products are a great deal (and quality)compared to top brand Victoria Secret, I actually preferred your undies. I just hope this get's resolved so I can stay a customer without worrying about $40 dollar charges.

If I could give this a -10 rating I would. The VIP club is such a scam. I ordered one items for $19.95 and used my credit card. I was somehow signed up for their VIP club after that where they take out $39.95 from my credit card every month. When I realized this was happening I tried to find the information on their website explaining how this works. Of course under the VIP information site all it stated was that you can buy any time and use your "store credit". It does not tell you that if you do not use the "store credit" within 12 months then you lose it. Basically they are stealing from you. I don't how they can call it a "store credit" when I have not bought anything or returned anything to get a store credit.
I did not realize that I would lose my money if I did not buy anything from them in 12 months. I did not see anything I thought was worth $39.95. I did not receive any e-mails stating that I only had so many months left to use my credit or I would lose it. I tried calling their customer service #. I was on hold for over 15 minutes and when I did reach someone I was told that they could only give me back a credit of $79.90 not the whole $199.75 that was stolen from me. I am so frustrated with this. To me it is stealing. I did not give them $39.95 a month. It was taken. And then it takes alot of gall to tell the customer that they have lost the money because they did not use it. I will use my "store credit" to buy something from their collection but that is all. I will tell everyone the tricks that they are using to scam customers.

Answer: I was on hold for 30 minutes for 3 days in a row with no answer. I didn't speak to anyone. I was told through messaging with a stylist on the webiste that i could not call and speak to a manager. I did speak with a manager the last time i called and actually got through, because I was having a fit.
Answer: I contacted the BBB & AdoreMe chose to ignore my complaint. They never addressed my issue. This company should not be trusted & has horrendous & rude customer service.

Answer: Yes but they will keep charging her automatically if she uses it. If she wants to stop the automatic subscription she needs to spend it and then cancel her subscription after the stuff arrives. If they charge her again you can dispute the charge with them within 30 days to get a refund. Honestly you'd be better off letting your credit card company handle it/dispute it.
Answer: Keep calling. It's your only way to stop the madness. Insist on staying on the phone until you receive the confirmation email. Adore Me is the biggest scam ever. I'm reporting them to the attorney general.
