I would like to say The Pearl River La store. In the billing Mrs. Taqouna is so amazing. She is always helpful, understandable and as well as a huge heart of gold if there was anybody I would choose to buy furniture from and deal with it would be with Mrs. Taqona I love the furniture that I've gotten my two nightstands and my king size mattress and headboard and baseboard. Once this is all paid off I will definitely be doing bussiness there again with Mrs Taqona she is the most helpful, listens to the customers on what there wanting and I could go on and on She is an amazing person and she brings joy and possibly to others here people would be crazy to not have her working in there bussiness she is so good at what she does and always thinks we about the customers needs. I will be coming to get more furniture thank you for all the help and for how amazing the people that work there like
Mrs. Taqona we need more people in this world that have a hard goal like she does so this is my thank you and people believe me shopping there and getting more furniture you won't be making a mistake best place ever to go.
My boyfriend went to Bob's to purchase a couch which was 1400. Totally fine, until he signed with acceptancenow. 1st off Bobs only sent half of the couch and then he had to wait 3 1/2 months for the second half to arrive! Then, as he made the first payment he saw an odd number on his bill saying the couch was no longer 1400 but 2300. We both went over to acceptance now to get everything "straightened out". They then proceeded to tell him that the 2300 was not the price he owed, that he only needed to pay off the original 1400. He asked if he was able to make monthly payments, and they said of course no problem. Cut to 6 months later, he called and tried asking for how much was left owed. They told him that he had 11 more payments of 180 left! IT MAKES NO SENSE FOR A COUCH THAT IS ONLY 1400 TO BE SURCHARGED 100%! They fed him false prices at the store and clearly took advantage of him. Had they said AT THE STORE! That the couch would be over 3000 ONLY if he made monthly payments he would've never purchased the couch. I dont know why they don't just tell you real prices instead of scamming you out of more money. Disgusting. And customer service through the phone was pointless, I MEAN who wants to. The website even moreso. Please save yourselves from this company. Like I said its a scam!

I could have paid for my furniture outright, but wanted to boost my credit. I was never told this was a 120 days same as cash contract. When I attempted to pay off my he contract I was told I missed the deadline and had to fulfill an entire 12 months of payments. I have now paid for my purchase 3x's! Beware, beware! Don't use this program!
We went through 3 mattresses in 6 months. They crumble! And we had to fight to return them. Ridiculous And they keep adding to the pay off amount so I would end up paying
FAR more. You can't reach Acceptance Now by email or phone. Rude! Have to go through sofa City to pay. Pricing is Hidious. Merchandise is JUNK! NEVER AGAIN!
Stay away from this company unless you are okay with being robbed! So many hidden fees and fine print in the contract that they do not tell you about. Whatever you want financed, expect to be liable for nearly 4x that initial price. Complete rip off. Do not do business here and if you do- you've been warned.

I would not advise anyone to ever use there service it is a complete scam. They will tell you false information just to get you to sign on dotted line but once you leave thats when the scam begins. They will charge you way more then what they tell you that you have to pay without informing you at all. You are give no paper work or documents to inform you of any additional fees. I called to speak to a rep at the Cicero location they are the worst and VERY unprofessional. I was hung up on when asking questions regarding my balance then I called back and spoke to the manager who clear as day told me the payments I was told aren't correct and that's not their problem so deal with it. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life and I wouldn't advise anyone in the world to ever use this horrible company.
When I signed up to make a purchase in October of 2020 from Value City Furniture in Calumet City IL. I was told the 120 days for the finance started when furniture is picked up. Here I am 6 days from the 120 days of the furniture being picked up to be told that is not how it works. Now I'm stuck paying $1,200 over what I should be paying for a $1090 table, 4chairs and section set that was only $598.00. DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS IN WRITING IF YOU DO.
Ricky Delvalle the rogue manager forged my name to a contract that I never signed. In additon, I was notified by the credit bureaus that he never completed the contract therefore, making the contract report delinquent and unpaid 60 days on my credit report if it isn't soon fixed I will sue for damages not to mention he fraudulently added merchandise protection to the items that I never requested. This guy is doing fraudulent stuff with contracts using customers on file signature to place on contracts, then added insurance onto these contracts so their company can make more money without the customers consent. Also, I have over $1600. 00 in payments and I have only received credit for $1000. 00 stay away from this place untill they can get competent non-fraudulent staff. In additon Ricky Delvalle was very vulgar and disrespectful his manager has to be just as slow as he is as he never returns calls either so I had to reach out to his bosses boss these people aren't intelligent at all. I believe Ricky has backed payments off my account and put the funds in his pocket to pay for his wifes treatment.
I paid off my purchase with Ashley Furniture months ago but have continued to be charged for the "Benefits Plus" monthly loan fee, in spite of being told it would auto cancel. After three months of being charged for this fee, (now about $40 worth), I called again and was told I should have been given a ticket number in the past, they would give me one and I would hear from an account manager by phone within 72 business hours and THEN the charges would stop. The woman talked over me several times. I won't get a cent back, for the overcharges, either. So much for the "solutions department." I am skeptical that I'll hear back, and I told them they would need to leave a message because I don't answer unrecognized numbers. I'm sick of these companies jacking people around and enriching themselves off of those who are trying to rebuild credit. I recommend staying away from Ashley Furniture, too, because they align themselves with this racket. I'll update when I get an actual resolution, hopefully not another three months from now.
Acceptance now doesn't deserve a single star, not one!
After I paid off my furniture they continue to report me as late at the credit bureaus and insist they can't do anything about it. They did respond to my disputes with comments added to my report but still have not removed the incorrect information. They also sneaked in two payments along with my loan without disclosure at signing. I never signed the two documents, they used some electronic signature and transferred it to them. That's deceit and theft.
The first one was an optional damage waiver form which comes along with a charge if $21.16 per month. The second one is some type of Benefits Plus discount membership form which they never told me about. This form relates to unemployment sickness and payment waiver, accidental death and dismemberment plus a whole bunch of other bull$#*! medical things like prescription discounts etc. totally useless. This one was another $12 every four weeks. That on top of some club membership fee. And keep in mind 50% of your monthly payment goes right in their pocket.
There has to be some kind of law prohibiting transferring your signature to documents that were not disclosed at signing. Only after reading the initial email they sent after signing did I discover these things.
These people are robbers. Attached is the Benefits Plus form I never signed so you can see how the signature is forged at the bottom with an electronic version. As you sign the rental agreement they transfer this to the other documents automatically.
I used acceptance now for a few purchases. When the last purchase was paid off in December 2020 I got a letter saying they would continue my membership fees of $12.84 a month unless contacted them. I contacted them every month to discontinue the membership. They have continued to take fee out of account. I wish we could get a class action suit against them to stop this. I have seen people have had to cancel cards used to stop this. It's fraud! I had to block card and now am without a card because of them. If use them do not sign up for auto pay!
My husband and I have been trying to get a refund for an order we canceled over a month ago and have been getting the run around for a few weeks now. I finally called the chattanooga store and spoke with Cody and he has been the most helpful by far. He was the first person to actually care and take the time to figure out what was going on. He told me he was actually from Huntsville, Alabama but that he would keep trying to help in anyway that he can. I have had a very negative view on acceptance now until Cody helped me. Thank you Cody.
Acceptance now will put some fees that you didn't agree on your receipt without asking you if you want it like insurance and if you don't really check your receipt they will play you. Also they say they charge taxes but never give you your exact total at purchase because they want to charge you for stuff that you don't know. They are far from honestly. I will never again go trough them to buy my furniture. VCF needs other people for this.
We went through acceptance now in value city furniture parma, ohio in Sept, 2020 for a $1,300 sectional and was paying $191.16 a month. So the 120 days were up in Jan, 21,21. I called to see how much was left in the payment the lady that works in the store was and is very unprofessional and puts me on hold to laugh and joke with another person. She gets back on and tells me the remaining balance is $778. I asked how she tells me after the 120 days they take it company fees to which I asked how much is that, she says $81. So I go online to pay in full today and it says I owe $851 and according to the total of past payments I had already paid $1,482.11 with the remaining owed $851.49 totaling $2,333.06, I called the actual company and a lady tells me that I owe 708.42 so the site basically lied. Wow. I also called the store to make sure they cancel my membership fee because I read reviews of people saying even after paying in full they were still charging. The same lady from the first call and the one we did the contract with answers and I asked to cancel she tells me to give her my number and she'll call me back that she's with someone else right now, she'll call me back. Once again very unprofessional. I know one thing is for sure they better not charge my account another dime because I will be calling the bank and also I am reporting them altogether to the BBB. THEY ROB PEOPLE AND MAKE YOU PAY DOUBLE. IN MY CASE OF I HADN'T OF PAID IN FULL TODAY I WOULD'VE ENDED UP PAYING TRIPLE. NEVER AGAIN. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
After paying 3 different accounts off with ACCEPTANCE NOW in Jonesboro i went to pay my furniture off and the regional manager told me that the only way i could get $37 off one account and $ 46 off the other one was if i would start a new aggreement with them. That is a bad way to do business and i think he should be FIRED for trying to hustle me into another ridicilously expensive account. I paid the full balance off and will NEVER send anyone back to them. By the way Caruss was helpful. His boss was the hustler
I started with them back in August of 2020 everything was going good until this past Wednesday 3-3-2021 I called in spoke with a representative paid my bill then I get a alert from my bank where they went back in my account and took another payment and now I'm in the process of getting my money back they put me in so many hardships with my other bills I believe this company is a scam they lie just to get you in and then crazy stuff like this happens never again and I would tell every one stay clear away from them it happened to me and I'm sure there will be others a mad upset use to be customer
I have moved into my new apartment and went through acceptance now Twice within the past 7 months and still been without my furniture because they take your money and communication with your orders and payments gets cut off and im still having problems without my order. Do not recommend!
I called for a payout on 2/27 and was told 1261 made a payment of 168 today 2/28 and was told my balance is 1177. This company is $#*!ing rip off, can't wait to get my taxes to pay them completely offf... I will never deal with them again. Please beware before buying.
Answer: AcceptanceNow is a legit company; however, they definitely take advantage of people with how they offer financing. Please…please don't use them if you can't pay off your item as soon as possible. The companies that use them shld do better.
