I've been trying to reach someone since the first week of April. I had the virus in March which prevented me from contacting before my 120 days were up. I called after I was released from the hospital in April so I've called all the numbers available to reach them. I finally spoke to an Acceptance Now rep that works in value City, she mentioned that they were previously closed because of Covid. I understood completely. I told her my situation and if needed I could provide documents they would need to show I had Covid and hospitalized. She told me she could not look at my account and gave me the number to corporate and mentioned it may take a little longer to get a response. I entered the black hole afterward. Days, weeks, months are still going by while autopayments are being deducted from my account for an item I never intended to pay extra payments for. I've called Value City to see if they had a number that I did not have. I called acceptance now within Value City again - no success. I've left my number on the automated system for them to call me back- no success. I checked my phone to see I missed a call - nope! I've emailed them twice and received one reply that they would escalate my issue and I'd receive a response within 24-28 hours- Lie I've stayed on hold listening to their hold music 45 min or longer (of course I was doing other things while I was holding) no success. I've been doing the same thing every week since April. I call 2 to 3 times a week, leave my number, and stay on hold - its June and still no success. I am actually on hold now and decided to do a google search to see if anyone else was experiencing this same thing. This is disappointing!

I made 3 payments of 340 304 and 300 for a selectional that would cost at the en of 120 days 1,592 I was paying more monthly because I wanted to finish paying sooner, I called to pay off my debt and they told me it was $734 I have Like 2 or 3 weeks for my contract to end and waiting for a call from manager 2 days ago have not hear from them... acceptance now it's a headache

AWFUL

IF you are down on your luck and trying to build credit please DO NOT use this company. Sit/lay on the FLOOR! If I wouldn't have called today, my poor parents would have ended up paying 6000$ for what was 2384$! This company takes advantage of people who are all already having a rough time in life... and it MAKES ME SICK!

Two weeks ago I tried calling the Number they gave me to make my payment every two weeks like I have since the store closed due to covid-19. The phone number was unavailable. So I went to the website for the next week and it also was down. Now I have late charges at no fault of mine I have proof that I've called that I've been trying to pay but I'm not paying these late fees. They have also sent me a another number to call through email, but that says long wait time press the # to get a call back I have done that like 4 to 5 times now and I never get a call. Or it says manage ur account online which u can't due because u cannot change ur payment amount without the store doing it.

This company is the worst ever. They don't let you know your balance. Even when sick in the hospital they call all day everyday. They have so many fees that I was aware of. I will never buy anything through them they are scammers. If I would've known this company was rent a center I would have left this furniture right there. DO NOT RENT OR BUY anything with this people.

Ill keep it simple $1500 for a $300 recliner i mean big sandy and acceptance now are makin a killing ive decided ill save up first before acceptance now robs me again. Thanks for reading and be smart before acceptance triples the price in you. And also they barely help your credit

DO NOT AGREE TO WORK WITH THESE HEARTLESS THIEVES! Rooms To Go should be ashamed of themselves for working with this crap company, they share some of the blame! This finance company has the rudest employees and they don't care that they are ripping people off. The contacts are very misleading! They stick to this stupid script about you signed the agreement so you have to pay! I pray that this is one of the companies that go out of business as a result of the recent pandemic!

First time ever buying anything, I bought a bed set around this time last year. I was forced into acceptance now cause of no credit. Wasn't told about the 90 days to pay everything of or pay off at all. I had no clue. I thought it was something simple as paying until your done paying it all off, no. A year later I paid $600 extra AND have to pay another $300 for a payoff? There so easy to call you when you miss a payment but don't tell you you already paid it ALL OFF? Like what is the point of this, I thought it would help me save money but now over a $1000 more I paid now. THERE SO HARD TO REACH AND THEIR WEBSITES SUCKS. It doesn't show you your payment history or anything. I just want my money back which is impossible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I am so shocked at the level of poor customer service and the lack of respect as a customer I have recievd. Even the fact that the manager (District Manager) can't even have the curtsy to return a phone call, the attitude received from the store representative was utterly ridiculous and this is not a post to bash but an actual post that within hopes someone with a heart from your company that has compassion about the customers whom you all actually need to keep your business going, if you didn't realize that the company is based upon our need for help, I hope you see this! I am so disappointed in this company when i honestly needed answers n help

During pandemic

I called into to see if they could extend the buy out. I leave in New York City and as we all know it's on Shut Down. I was told by Chrissy that is not a opinion the offer. I also explained to her I'm not asking for more time because it's my fault, it's because I can't return to work until the Governor opens my office for work. She continued to state the I can do the regular which I'll be paying more. So I'm writing to let everyone know that this is not a company that you want to deal with. The will not help you when the country is in a state of emergency.

So supposedly you don't pay interest for 120 days. But read the fine print. If you pay off early they charge for that plus a percentage. So there's no win. You technically pay that interest under the guise of store prices instead of sale price. Definitely not worth it unless you have no credit and can't get furniture any other way. Had I known this would definitely not have been the option for me. I feel ripped off!

I purchased about 3 weeks ago a living room set trying to pay same as cssh 90 days as between my bobs and acceptance now neither of them can accept payment but can hit my acct every month. I have had 3 plus hour wait times to be hung up on. Worst service ever

Do not go to Rooms to Go-you will be ripped off by their so called finance company AcceptanceNow. A bunch of hidden fees. They tried to get me to pay $3,000 OVER what my furniture cost. BE WARE

I attempt to pay my payments A WHOLE WEEK PRIOR to my due date and it is absolutely impossible to do so because the site is poorly engineered. I touch a link and it highlights part of a paragraph half way down the page. I have to touch around my screen and figure out the hotspot for the online payment link. Only to be brought to another page that's even harder to figure out. Then I get on my laptop and sign in only to be looped to the sign in page again and again. This is SEVERELY pissing me off. I'm really over this. I rather let the merchandise go back to the store and be done with this absolutely STUPID system. This is entirely UNACCEPTABLE! All my payments are on time. If not early... when I have 3 hours and the patience to figure out how to press the right spot in my screen that will activate the correct link. So aggravating that I wish there were someone to choke for it... preferably wearing an Acceptance Now shirt.

Horrible Business

This finance company is structured to make it very difficult to pay in the 90 day window to get the same as cash option. Customer service is horrible to even speak to if you can get them on the phone. There is no option online to make any other payment than the full term contract payment so you have to call. I waited 45 minutes on hold until after the office closed and never was able to speak to a representative. I have had multiple issues with the website that make it very difficult to process a payment. This company is structured as a vacuum cleaner with the nozzle in your wallet.

This is a jacked up company lie after lie they cant even contact there own employees to cofirm a payoff agreement. Stay away from these people you will end up in jail the way they just take money from your account. Nobody know nothing waited 2 weeks for a return call from some dum chick in wv dont know how to coduct business and she hung up on me. I will never deal with them again never

These ppl clearly don't care it's a pandemic and ppl are not working and having an even harder time getting thru to unemployment to get paid themselves mind u I've never missed a payment before this but I've been harassed about making payments.the fact that they keep trying my card after it declined every hr on the hr is insane to me I will never recommend them value city furniture (Dearborn) to do business with they don't care they're very rude when they do call this is why they con u into leaving a review before U leave him the store making initial purchase they no you're happy and excited then so of course you're willing to leave a good review. I'll also be making a complaint to corporate as well.no way customers should be harassed during these pressing times

Associates was stealing my payment money I was still being charged even though it wasnt my fault. Cant get a hold of the district manager Allysha Reams doesn't return calls in which shes the district manager for the Sarasota Fl. Location. Ive been trying to get a hold her her for 30+ days and she hasnt answered or even tried to return my calls. Steven who is the store representative is also unreasonable he is untrustworthy and is out to help me as the customer. The corporate representatives are just as bad been waiting on them to return my call as well. Have a outstanding balance I'm trying to square away and they not responding. I do not recommend use another company if possible.

I am a customer with AcceptanceNow and I must say throughout this ordeal with the COVID-19 I personally had the best experience with a representative of AcceptanceNow by the name of Amanda. This young woman was the most genuine charismatic person I have had the pleasure of speaking and doing business with during this time. She went above and beyond her responsibilities to assist me with my account and payment. If I can continue doing business with this young lady you will have a customer for a long time! We remained on the phone for over 30 minutes trying to get everything situated, never once did Amanda show anything but the upmost respect for me but also is very knowledgeable about her business! This is the kind of person who deserves a shout out during this pandemic and the company should be proud to have such an outstanding employee! This is for the Montgomery, AL area.
