Absolutely no
March 19, 2020

Honestly this company is totally useless. I called their manager in Smyrna asking for help with going over account. He was totally uninterested in solving my issues and kept on telling me he will mail me documents. I have had all but problems with Acceptance now. I will never use again. The manager there Josh Korn guys has a very lackadaisical attitude and needs help with customer service skills.

Total BS
March 7, 2020

Ended up paying double for recliner. They kept saying I couldn't pay early because it would mess up the payment schedule that would help increase your credit. Do not use them! Shopped at Bob's in Columbia.

The worst company that I have ever done business with, they will call you none stop for being a day late. These people have the worst attitude in customer service I have ever seen. I would not recommend this company for anything; don't make the mistake of getting involved with these people. Worst company ever. Everyone from the manager Amanda to all the other employees are extremely rude.

I will never purchase using this method again. Yes I did read all the agreements and fine print, and yes I am aware of the payoff date I must pay before in order to avoid exorbitant fees, but this was STILL an awful experience. Terrible customer service, absolutely no help, and created more problems pretty much every step of the way. My delivery was delayed repeatedly, when I did get my order I only received half of it. I'm STILL waiting on a return call letting me know when I'll get the other half. Despite the fact that the product is just about paid off, per THEIR payment plan. They don't tell you the monthly payment plan doesn't include one additional payment which must be made in addition to your final month's payment- this amount was more than my typical payment. I was told this was because I'd been making the minimum payments, but this was the payment amount I was asked to pay and agreed to. Still fuming about the experience and would not recommend to anyone.

Don't do it!
February 22, 2020

I purchased my items with Acceptance Now back in November. My 90 days ended in February. When I called in January I was advised that my balance was $1200- before I made my $200 payment. So I called on 2/20 to pay off my balance and was told it was $1005. 00. She said I couldn't pay off over the phone and since they would be closing soon she said that I had until 3/6 before the balance would change. I went in today 2/21 and she said my balance was $1535. 00. I said that's not what you said last night. After a bunch of bs and her typing she shows me the screen that didn't provide a full detailed list. I asked for printouts same thing! I said how did my balance that you said last night wouldn't change jump up $500 more dollars? She played dumb as if she never spoke to me about a balance of $1005. Long story short, they are full of shizz and I got scammed. Don't fall for their shenanigans!

Fees
February 21, 2020

I will never purchase anything from acceptance now. There fees are ridiculous. They charge a fee to call to make a payment and also charge to payoff furniture. I do not recommend getting anything from Acceptance Now. If you can just layaway and pay as you go, but going this route don't do it. They harass you as soon as your late. They call next day. I will never purchase anything from Acceptance Now ever again.

I decided to finance a small portion of furniture I bought at Ashley's Furniture in Austin / Southpark Meadows. They are the finance company. Figured I could build up my credit. Auto pay each month, until I got behind in January. I was in contact with them about payment plan. Their office peeps in store are rude. This DOUG INGRAM DISTRICT MGR is horrible! Look at their low ratings. They actually sent me threatening text like this below, and didn't see anything wrong with it! Doug Ingram said he sent it out. If this is not totally unprofessional to a paying customer - on time, and made arrangements to pay - and still send this, is beyond ghetto! I hope and pray elderly and others aren't taken advantage of. I've reported them to better business bureau as well as in contact w DISTRICT MGRS of Ashley's. They make the store look horrible. Get rid of them!

Horrible
January 28, 2020

Very horrible service, never get a straight answer, we bought furniture from Ashley Furniture in Woodhaven and the lady in the office doesn't know her head from her rear! Just keeps going around in a circle, we got on the program so we didn't have to pay upfront, and didn't want to pay for a year, but this is a rip-off! Today I thought I was done and then get informed that we still owe 300.00 bucks, in 15 days to end the program not a month, 12% to be on the program. Don't even get hooked on this, you'll either end up paying double or triple not worth it. Stay away from this program I can not stress it enough!

I have bought a TV, stove & washer/dryer. They were very clear on the terms of the payments. I did ask what the last early payoff date was so I wouldn't run into what I read has happened to many. Acceptance Now raise my credit tremendously and now I'm able to get traditional credit at stores.

Don't run from Acceptance Now, just read.

RUN!
January 23, 2020

Never use this company! Unfortunately I had no credit and was forced to take what I could get, but next time I will just save before using this company ever again! This company gouges you with fees and is extremely rude. I had fraud on my credit card so I called and updated it. The following month I get FIVE declined emails that this company tried to process my old credit card. Then I login to make payment, it won't let me. I call to make payment only to be placed on hold by a very rude worker. Just run when you hear AcceptanceNow unless you're willing to Accept FEES, RUDE customer service reps, and HASSLE to pay your own bill!

TOTAL SCAMMERS
January 15, 2020

Do not use this company, I was conned from Value City to purchase 4 chairs for 300.00,54.00 per month. Never late on my payments went to pay the very last payment and OOPS now you owe 700.00 because the contract secretly ended a week ago. This company takes full advantage of people who may not be able to pay right out. It's very sad. Shame on Value City for conning people into a "great deal" through this sad company. YUCK!

Hires miscreants
January 13, 2020

A store in Garden city, Ga called Royal furniture and rugs has an acceptance now in their location. They called and threatened a 12 yr old boy and told him they were going to arrest his mother and that they put a skip tracer on his house. Dad is a cop. Big mistake of their part. Police were called an an investigation is being done on store. I highly recommend you DO NOT USE ACCEPTANCE NOW. Bullies and gang like employees.

We felt unwanted.
December 2, 2019

We were trying to get a loan to buy some computers for our business and this gentleman was helping us. First of all, no smile. He was explaining to us what we got approved for but he kept talking in lengthy words that we didnt understand and when we would ask him to simplify it a little for us, he just repeated what he said like if he was just reading off the book (So my guess is he has no idea whay hes talking about). When we finally got our items, we ended up checking out with him (coincidentally). Again, no smile, no how you doing, nothing. We start the paper process to check out with the loan that we got but he didnt explain we would have to wait over an hour and a half for all the "paperwork" and everything else to process. With that lack of information we obviously got upset and cancelled the whole loan thing. At the very end when we just bought everything we went back to ask for his name to write this review and he kept asking, why do we need my name? Saying he doesnt even work for brandsmart usa and at first he said "my name is G". So now hes just being slick with me. We asked again and he said Gerald. I dont know if thats his name or not but he works in the brandsmart in miami gardens (4320 NW 167st) he wears glasses, black hair and has a beard. Common courtesy goes a long way. Im sorry but he made you guys look really bad as a company and looka like you guys should focus on customer service more.

I bought furniture last year for 900.00. Because I didn't pay it off in 90 day time frame I've paid 174.00 a month for 12 months, add it up. I called to ensure that my last payment would be 1/1/20, was told that had to pay four more payments or buyout the contract for over 400.00.

Disrespectful Scammers
October 23, 2019

I signed up with them for a short term loan with early payoff. I paid all my bills on time and in full. When I went to pay the final bill during the early pay off period the store was unreachable. My first call I was told the system was down in order to process my payment. I called the main corporate number to make my payment. I was told only my store can take the payment. I called two and three times everyday for the next 2 days. The phone just rang with no answer or I was hung up on. When I finally was able to get a hold of the store I was 2 days past my payment date. I asked if they could make an exception being I was unable to reach the store. The manager Ricky said that they aren't allowed to make such exceptions. I asked to speak with his manager. I left a message for Shirley the district manager explaining what happened. When returning my call she stated unless the paper work wasn't signed correctly there would be nothing she could do. Within an hour she called to let me know I was out $552.94. This company is a ripe off looking to pray on customers. STAY AWAY!
