ABC Tv's using 3rd party delivery services to save on shipping average deliveries take 3-5 weeks. They publish low prices to get you to place the order then they call you and tell you that price is " for TV's made overseas with questionable quality but we still have your TV model for this price." There is not a more dishonest firm in the country than ABC Tv's. If you get a TV for free from them do not take it -- Stay away.
3 Cheers for addressing McSally's ads condemning Mark Kelly for "making millions" through hidden medical costs. Thanks for shedding light on the lies! I am a republican, but McSally'S campaign turns my stomach. She is an old style mud slinger. I believe SHE will say anything for a vote, but she won't get mine.
I order a LG 86 Nano tv online. After 5 days. I received an email that I better call these scumbags. So when I called my nightmare appeared during the day. Ryan of Abctv's said that I am purchasing the commercial version and it doesn't have a TV tuner and it is only 6 bit. If I wanted the residential version, I should add $800 more.
Damn these scumbags. Why is it 97% approval rating? Should be 3 percent!
Buyer beware!
John
I purchased an OLED TV on this site on Friday, July 24 and logged in to see the status on Tuesday, July 28 to find it marked cancelled. No explanation, no email, the pending charge on my credit card was removed.
Won't be buying from them again.
All ABC does is tell people what they want to hear they don't tell them the truth. The rating is also bogus they control it.
Place order for LG OLED77C9PUB on Friday for $2799. On Monday 1 PM was told by Al that this is made of inferior Chinese components & was offered LG OLED77CXPUA-LJR made in Mexico for $3900. I said ok.
Then called LG to make sure. They told me all OLED TV's are made in Korea.
Called back at 3pm & was told the item has been shipped & I will be charged $200 for getting the delivery back.
Even though I dont see any info about the order on their own website in my account plus no email confirmation.
Stay Away.
Freaked out after reading several bad reviews of both ABC and their delivery company AM Home Delivery. I called and spoke to Al who dismissed the bad reviews and said he couldn't cancel the order because it had already been shipped. Was supposed to take 5-7 business days to deliver but because of COVID we learned everything was taking an extra week. 19 days later, the TV arrived and it was everything that was promised. A very good 65" Oled TV. Several inquiries with ABC and AM were answered promptly and they were helpful in tracking down the order. I was grateful that in spite of all the bad reviews, I had a good experience.
I placed an order for a LG C9 through ABC TVs due to the fact they seemed to be the only company that stated they had that particular TV in stock NEW. I checked with Amazon as well, they did not have it in stock for a new C9. I also foolishly did not research ABC TV before placing the order as I was not paying appropriate attention.
The next day, I got cold feet because I never received a tracking number (red flag #1) so I checked the reviews and was further convinced this is completely a scam (red flag #2). The positive reviews differ so much from the positives, it is too inconsistent. I was further put off by their outrageous return policy of $750 no matter what you get, whether it is broken or not what you ordered. Awfully convenient for them, especially it is over 50% of the cost of the purchase (red flag #3).
I called to cancel my order (less than 24 hrs later) and was given the same stuff everyone else seems to get. It was already "shipped" from Amazon so it would cost them money to return it. They also stated it was through their prime account so that is a lie on the shipping cost. Their excuse to me was rather comical, as obvious was their lie about the shipping cost. As I stated earlier, I checked with Amazon prior to my purchase so I immediately knew they were lying about it being shipped because they did not have it in stock anyway (at least for it to be a NEW C9).
I was told I would have to cover part of the shipping cost of the cancellation since it was "shipped." Quite the easy way to make a few dollars for doing absolutely nothing. I disputed the cost with my Credit Agency that I made the purchase with and they verified I was not responsible for any cancellation fee, especially since I had only just put in the order and never received the product. They blocked the charge. They also agreed that the practice of this company is questionable and would warn against any purchases there.
All-in-all, do not fall for their scam. Do not listen to the "good" reviews as they are questionable in their authenticity after my experience. This place is a headache and definitely too good to be true!
Just before delivery, they called and said I should pay extra for an updated model. But most of all, paid extra for white glove delivery and that the delivery person would plug our unit in to be sure it worked and screen wasn't cracked. None of that happened. And delivery person laughed in our faces saying they are only delivery people! I called ABCTVs and they told me entirely different story. I do not trust this company. TV is good
I ordered a TV on 5/31/2020 and my TV was delivered on 6/10/2020. I had "White Glove Delivery" but all they did was open the box to make sure the TV worked & wasn't damaged. I had to do everything else. My super helped me lift it onto my TV stand. I got a little up sell but it was well worth it to me. I am very happy with the TV I got and glad I spent the extra money. $200 difference between a 2019 & 2020 model with an extended service contract. I would buy from them again... Geno, NYC
I am very happy with my experience with ABCTVS. Com/ I ordered the television on a Monday and received it by Thursday. I called and had some questions on how to set it up and they were very helpful. I would recommend them to any anyone. They have one of the best prices on the market which includes a 5 year warranty.
I placed the order. Was called to confirm the next day. Was told they only had the 8-bit and asked if I wanted to upgrade to the 10-bit. LG never made an 8-bit in OLED C9. I said I would take the 8-bit. Waited 9 days. Called to find out where my TV was. They told me the order was cancelled because LG didn't have any more C9 in stock but they could get me the CX for $2199 (their cost) which was almost $700 more than my original TV. I said no thank you. They said I was supposed to receive an email telling my order was cancelled. I did not. At least they did not charge my card.
So many reviews to the tune of "I thought the deal was too good to be true and it was." Huh, no kiddin'? Have literally any of these people heard of cancelling a purchase? This site is obviously a scam and unless you're a senior citizen with cataracts, you should feel bad for not realizing it as soon as you saw the site.
Ordered an LG OLED TV online, got an email "please call us about your order" and the guy lied to me, tried to get me to believe the model # for the USA-version was really intended to be used as a display for airports, so the sound and brightness would not be good for watching movies at home. He tried hard to upsell me to a "better" version for $800 more. I refused, told him to send me the TV I ordered, at the price on the website, and (you guessed it) the TV never came because he'd lose money if he sold it that cheap. Waste of time and money.
This is a scam. Here is the email I got 1 day later:
When an LTL driver arrives at your home with your TV. Customer must inpect and plug in TV while driver is waiting. Please Do not sign BOL without proper inspection. Once BOL is signed insurance is waved unfortunately and the Sale is final and non refundable. If the Tv is damaged call us while the driver is present. Tv must be refused and noted on BOL that it is damaged. We do our best to ship safely however things can happen.
The site listed one price, but when I added the TV to my cart the price jumped by over $200!
I called the 978 number to get clarification. "Al" never answered my inquiry about the price jump between site & my cart, or even honoring the price shown. He instead immediately launched into 2 minute scripted spiel in an attempt to upsell me on the same model, but $700 more expensive.
Why? Because "it is made from the actual manufacturer's factory in Mexico, instead of their licensed sub-contractor factory in Asia.
The one you saw is for commercial and hotels built to minimum spec. Only 2 year warranty. The other model -- oh go to my website and put in these three characters at the end of the model number you're looking at --- this is the good one and we include a 5 year warranty."
What?! All the OLED panels for LG originate from South Korea. All sub-components originate from China & Taiwan. Final assembly for North America takes place in Mexico - period because of NAFTA beating the import tariffs vs. Asia. This is why flat panel prices in the US have plummeted.
Moreover, why even list inferior goods on your site and not clearly label them as "commercial" if they are the commercial line? It's clearly a scam to get traffic "in the door."?
Why do I have to call you to get some secret internal SKU number that only your company uses to to have access to see the real price and prime goods?
No thanks. I'll trust my gut and walk away. You guys need to improve your business practices.
I purchased the 85 inch Sony Bravio, when I placed the order they called to verify what I wanted in the TV. There is more to it than you know and they were very transparent and explained the difference. It was a brand new TV and was about 25% lower cost than what I could find elsewhere and with no tax and shipping included it was a great price! It took 8 days from the date I ordered for it to be delivered but it was worth the wait due to quality of ABCTV customer service and the price. I highly recommend this company and would suggest to any one looking for a large TV or electronic to check out ABCTV!
These guys are legit! Bought my TV back in December (2019) with white glove delivery with a 5 year warranty included - Delivery guys made sure the TV powered up before they would leave - there was a cheaper version available but I wasn't looking for the lower bit option (maybe reason for others thinking bait & switch?)... I still saved over $500 compared to the national stores and even more with the included warranty and shipping and tax - the extra doe saved me so I could have the panel calibrated... The picture is incredible - a very happy camper here...
I was really skeptical at first, especially after reading the comments from here, but they delivered! If you don't mind possibly waiting a week or 2, but that's on the delivery company, not ABCTV's. The order went through fast, easy to communicate with. I'd recommend them, and you save lots of dough! I overall saved about $600 on the LG C9 65" tv from what I could purchase it for in the big box stores. Give them a try.
Answer: These items are used and/or returned from customers as defective. It's common to receive a TV from this company that has been used for a year or more.
Answer: It means they will deliver your gray, non residential goods out of the white. Avoid these scammers. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
