What ever happened to the conservative answer to AARP? I would be willing to bet they would deliver a different product.

Got to laugh at the touched moron with the review titled "Leftists"
He gave a 5 star rating along with his MAGAt crybaby rant. Wonder if AARP will provide the whiner a discount on Depends or Mydol.

Terrible customer service & the rewards for points are totally bogus. Sadly, I've experienced this numerous times since I had a membership. Never again. Not worth my time & $.

AARP plans (ie Unitedhealthcare) are only in business to support the woke agenda of the progressive left. They support all the Biden policies of equity for all which translates to people who did not earn an outcome are given the same outcome as those who worked and earned it. AARP is of the mindset "YOU OWN NOTHING, AND YOU WLL BE HAPPY" Stay away, unless you support the catastrophic outcomes of the progressive socialist party (ie Democrats)

Scam
April 22, 2023

Read the reviews before you sign up for AARP. They are nothing but a scam. No different than Plan Parenthood. They support the leftist agenda. I talked to a representative about what AARP supports and she seemed oblivious as to what I told her why I wouldn't join a communist party

I signed up originally in 2016 and have up getting anything out of the membership. I tried again in 2023, same tired promise. I'm poor and needed help with medical rides, gym membership and prescription discounts. Negative hits for all. The prescription discounts are poor. The prescription costs are three times what singlecare can get the meds for. The restaurant benefits are for unhealthy food for diabetics, hypertension and hyperlipidemia. I don't want to eat that type of food anymore. AARP is for affluentence, not the financially constrained. AARP could start to work on these inadequacies by sending surveys. I've never gotten one in 7 years.

I am 51! And in to road trips and travel. Use Priceline like sites for rent a cars, hotels. You get both for half the price aarp offer's. 16$ a year to get only food discounts from fast food restaurants.not worth it. AARP IS A 16$ SEARCH SITE THAT HOPES YOU DON'T SEARCH Elsewhere to find way cheaper prices. I am cancelling my membership.

AARP promotes businesses. One business in particular is FTD. FTD is completely fraudulent. I contacted AARP to inform them of multiple issues with this company. They were not interested. They only wanted me to renew my membership. I paid money to FTD based on AARPs recommendation. I am sure many others have done the same. I have learned they are a business and their primary concern is their business, not their customers.

One service in the AARP lineup that I would completely avoid is the road service provided by Allstate. While it is cheaper than AAA, I would not want to be in need of it late at night or even during daylight hours. This is for the simple reason that the website keeps telling you that your password is invalid when it most certainly is not. This is something that you can overcome, albeit inconveniently, at home, but who wants to have to rectify this when you already have a situation that requires access to the service you paid for. In addition, when I brought this problem to their attention, they were far less than helpful or understanding. I have since had to pay for AAA anyway, so I would never waste time and money on the Allstate service again.

AARP you advertise and promote one of the worst companies you could have possibly picked. Their customer service is horrible and their money back guarantee is a sham. If this is the type of business you promote for seniors you should be ashamed

My 79 year old mother-in-law owed 300$, on a 100,000$ life insurance policy. She's been paying on this for years. Her funeral is taken care of., everything else is paid for. I had to see her cry, because these idiots cancelled her policy after all these years. She's just worried about leaving something to someone important to her. What a bunch of worthless $#*!s!

Referral The Hartford
February 16, 2023

AARP backs the Hartford insurance corporation. This is one of the worst homeowners insurance companies that I have ever dealt with. They tell you one thing to sell you a policy and when you have a claim you get the short end of the deal. I recently had inspector check my home for damage namely the roof. The inspector found excessive hail damage on the roof and also the downspouts and screens of my home. I had two roofing companies come to look at my roof. They both stated that I had hail damage and some wind damage. The Hartford Ins paid adjuster came out and looked at my home. He stated that I had hail damage on my downspouts and my screens of my home but no damage on the roof. I stated that I must Live in the only home that hail falls parallel to the ground and not from the sky. They also sold me a policy with 5% wind and hail deductible. I was told it was up to 5% of the repairs required but that's not how it works. It is 5% of the cost to replace your home from the slab up which adds up to moreThen the roof cost. The Hartford is a dishonest insurance company

After many years with AARP, I see that there are better options with similar organizations that offer benefits but without the liberal political agenda. We all need choices, and I am choosing to leave AARP.

Racial discrimination
February 8, 2023

We got the membership 6 years ago and no problem with discounts. No longer members. I started looking at their magazine. Every black history month you'll never see a prominent Black person on their cover. Always non black. They'll put us inside with a couple of small articles. I asked about it in an email and never got a response. So we cancelled out membership. You want me to support you cause of ageism what about you supporting us against racism? Bye bye aarp. You don't apply to me.
