I have been an Aaron's customer for the last 5 years. I got a mattress paid it off and then 2 years ago got another mattress that I am still paying on. Heaven forbid I'm a day late on payment… they call next day! I call them back and try to make arrangements for a later date. They don't want to work with the customer, they say they need payment today or I will have to return item! If I still don't pay until I can they harass me daily! They call 4 times a day and come to my house at least 2 days a week! Worst customer service ever! I am a server so I don't make much money and am not able to make a payment until the end of the month and they don't want to work with that nor do they even care! This is the last time I ever get anything from them!
When you pay your merchandise off the Childress office won't give you the paperwork. It's paid in full and still no paperwork. I'm done with them!
I rent an hp omen tracer desktop and they claim that it had nvidia GeForce 1650 gpu come to fine out its an nvidia GeForce 1150ti which 6 years out of date. Also the price for the whole set up is only 699.99 they want to charge me over 3k for system. I have began the process of filing a class action lawsuit against the company.
Aaron's sales & Lease is no good. They have messed up before on a TV of Ours. Not a Good Place to go. Plus they r way over priced on there Merchandise.
Ok most mattresses you are to flip every so often aarons bed you can't its just a black material same as the couch cushions only 1 side has real material the other side black material. Atleast flipping cousins and mattresses extends the life of your furnature
Be warned... normal frustrations with senseless sales reps aside, Aaron's just committed fraud. THEY TOOK THE CREDIT CARD INFO I GAVE THEM FOR ONE SMALL APPROVED PURCHASE OVER THE PHONE AND BEGAN CHARGING ME FOR AN UNAPPROVED PURCHASE WITHOUT MY CONSENT! I started renting my equipment from Aaron's about a year ago. When the delivery arrived, one of my appliances was damaged with a dent. I agreed with the salesperson that I would keep it instead of waiting for a replacement and receive a hefty discount. I have been paying monthly at that discounted rate. 2 months ago, I was kicked off of Aaron's automatic payment schedule when they were going through some internal changes. Twice I talked to people who said they have no record of a discount and with all new staff and management, I now owe the full cost. Last month I paid via phone for the ONE payment I signed off on. I woke up this morning to see that I had been charged the full rate via automatic payment which I NEVER signed off on. This means that the black female manager I spoke with took my card info and instead of processing my regular payment, inserted it into their system so that it would automatically withdraw an amount I did NOT approve! This is fraud and will be treated as such.
Never dealt with a company whom needed communication nor customer service training more than this one. We ordered a washing machine which was supposed to be delivered Friday June 4th. After not hearing anything by 4pm on the 4th we called since the store closes at 6. We were given several excuses about why it was not delivered and also told they cannot contact their drivers in the field. We were informed we would be called Saturday to see if they could deliver it then.
We never got a call back, so we called again on Saturday afternoon and were told the person whom was to deliver was off on that Saturday. We called the 1-800 today at around 5:45pm (June 7th) to cancel the order as we will buy one elsewhere and we're told they could not cancel because it was in route for delivery. According to tracking, it is NOT on a truck for delivery but PENDING delivery and tracking stated they would call to schedule delivery...
With minutes to spare before the store closes at 6pm, we called and we're told they would let "Mike" the delivery driver know Wednesday when he comes in that we canceled our order. This is pretty laughable for any business, not sure what the deal is in Abingdon, VA but some management could use a few fire logs under their chair. Aaron's is a joke of a company. Now I am going to bet my order never gets cancelled and they try to deliver here without even so much as a phone call.
We leased a couch from them. They asked if we wanted the ottoman that goes with it and we declined. Checked the paperwork and signed for the two parts of the sectionals. They deliver. It's the two parts and a foot stool thing and I'm like "hey, cool, I didn't know anything came with the couch". Well, 4 days later, I get an email thanking me for my purchase. It turns out, they'd delivered the ottoman by mistake and, upon realizing their mistake, they wrote a new lease for the ottoman, FORGED MY SIGNATURE ON THIS LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT, and figured that was the end of that. I ended up calling the district manager and all they did was try to downplay the seriousness of the FELONY they committed, say it would be a "training experience" and come get the ottoman, saying we wouldn't have to pay if we returned it. Cool. Fine. Then they bring paperwork that says we still owe them money because we were returning it and the lease said (THE LEASE THEY FORGED) that we still owed some money. We didn't sign it. So if you want a place that'll commit forgery, identity fraud, and plain ole fraud, rent from here.
They are by far the worst company to start a contract with. Let me tell you my story with the waldorf, Clinton and forestville stores as a victim of inside theft I was totally victimized in the utmost way from these stores I had been a long time consumer of AARON stores I started back in the early 90s maybe even before then, and since then I have purchased bedroom sets, dinette sets, tvs and much more in a span of 15 years they have been through about 15 managers about 7 regional managers and numerous employees I want to say 25 percent were let go due to inhouse theft as a long time customer I fell prey to operational inhouse theft! I recently tried to purchase a stove thinking i would give them a chance again low and behold i was denied for the stove so i inquired about this matter with the stores they told me that i had a run and skip, now mind you i have been at same address for 35 years and this was back 2004 and 2006 not to mention i bought a computer and a bed set i want to say 2015 in the clinton store paid off before scheduled time like most of my purchases. They directed me to corporate and my purchase showed paid in full there as well my credit report showed the same exact thing. But they claim it was sent to a collections agency and asked if I paid collections agency. NO NO AND NO then the rep says this does look very suspicious because you purchased merchandise way after 2004 and 2006 this doesnt make sense at all! She gave me a number to solutions where I was on hold for 35 minutes trying to get to regional manager is like trying to call the White House! Never available the manager in the waldorf store is rude very short and extremely unprofessional! Then when you do get a rep you hear the same thing you heard from other reps is as if it's all rehearsed its equivalent to NEXT IN LINE! Horrible experience and all though I like their quality and styles its definitely not worth the headaches. It's a blessing and I ask all of you consumers and potential consumers please check your accounts periodically because had I not applied for the stove, i would have never known I would hate to see anyone victimized like I have been not once but three times. This is ridiculous and absurd! They really need to vet these managers at these stores. They definitely lost a veteran consumer I wouldnt purchased a pigeon from them if they threw at me for free. A company I held in high regards at onetime no longer exist they are by far the worst havient heard anything from them and at this point dont care to.
The Ontario location and customer service place is the WORST ever canceled both my orders after having me wait for 2 wKs with no phone calls or explanation after requesting so much info and calling my references. After me having to call them for the 100th time they don't even service Orange County. Don't go through them ever
Online aarons says their furniture is 'guaranteed' for life. In actuality it is guaranteed for as long as they feel is necessary. We rented from aarons, and the couch literally peeled the surface off after 18 months. Aarons said since they had replaced the couch before FOR THE SAME PROBLEM that they would not do anything. When i asked the district manager about the online guaranty of 'lifetime warranty', i was told that only applies to the first purchase. So they replaced the first crappy built furniture with more crappy furniture. Do not use!

And our governor and president had asked companies to be kind and a mandated no bill collection during. I go through abuse from this woman every month. I pay my monthly payment and every month she wants a payment and a half. I still don't know why honestly think the woman is enbezzeling. She is rude ulgly all the time very abusive and threatening. I have complained to the company but they don't care please don't buy from aarons
You'll end up paying 10x what the item is worth. Run away. I'll never come back to any of these stores. Just save up some cash and buy it somewhere else
Cheap crappy furniture and over aggressively employees that will knock on your door 9 o'clock at night if you pay just one day late! They are rude and over priced if you need something just save your money and go buy it out right. If something goes wrong with anything you get from them, they do not care!
This company is awful. Racist, verbally abusive staff.
Unprofessional. Luis is store manager. I had to call 3 different days in a week, 4 weeks in advance to schedule a pickup because I was getting rotator cuff surgery and moving out of state. Left messages with Rob and Luis didnt call me back.
Finally, spoke to Luis when i called again the end of that week. Luis said they would pick up on Tuesday after 2 pm. Their store closes at 7pm. They didnt show up; they didnt call to inform of a delay, or even apologize or attempt to reschedule.
I talked to K'Kneesha, real professional. Wouldnt let me speak. Wouldnt apologize. Said wasnt her problem she didnt schedule me Luis did and he was off today.
Hung up on me SIX (6) times! I called AARONS corp customer service and had her on speaker phone for the corporate rep to hear while she blasted me, screamed at me, talked over me, and even insulted my wife multiple, MULTIPLE times. Low class ANYTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL or remotely respectful. After Eric in corporate heard her rant, I hung up.
No one ever showed to pick up, no one ever called, and now Im supposed to delay my out of state and hope they pick it up next tuesday because tuesday is the only day for pickups?! DO NOT RENT FROM THE AARONS IN MAYS LANDING NEW JERSEY. Completely racist, rude and unprofessional! Even lied to her boss about hanging up not knowing that corporate representative manager heard it all.
They will treat you like ***, they WILL LIE ABOUT IT, THEY WILL HANG UP ON YOU. I was told that because I wouldnt accept an apology that they never gave and told them I couldnt wait another week that I wasnt be professional MYSELF and that I should not talk to her like I talk to my wife. My wife wanted to go to store but feared being the victim of a hate crime. MOST RACIST, LAZY, DO NOTHING GO F YOURSELF UNPROFESSIONALS I EVER DEALT WITH.
This store and ALL of south Jersey is a cesspool for racist bottomfeeders that want to do nothing amd never get fired.
COMPLETELY MISMANAGED STORE, DO NOT LIVE IN SOUTH JERSEY IF YOURE WHITEOR RENT FROM THIS STORE EVER. 11% white of the population and the balcks, hispanics, and radical muslims abuse you and NOTHING will be done and NO ONE IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE!
