800notes does have some good info, however there are so many numbers that have no info listed. Don't mention Nomorobo's lack of blocking known scam numbers or your post will forever say post pending moderator approval, even tho the scam number is on Nomorobo.com/lookup as a Robocaller Warning as if both sites are linked. Not a scam just SUCKS
I am amazed to see bad reviews about so helpful a site. Please continue as you are, I mean as you always helped us in your 800notes site. I will not tell you why I like so much this site, as I don't want the scammers to know about our secrets and the secrets of this helpful site.
As another reviewer said, avoid site at all costs. Operation of the cite is in the hands of cyber bullies. Site will not remove false reviews or personal attacks on users. It deletes honest reviews. This guy said it well: Website is run by a bunch of low life scammers / online bullies that have no perception of reality, living in the world of virtual reality... The "administrators" WILL all team up and talk trash to ALL VICTIMS and delete any post that does not conform to their liking...
Lets you know who or what is calling you. Since EVERYWHERE else wants to charge you to find out any information about an unknown caller. This is my number one place to go, to find out who is calling me.
I Post there and Check there, as well. Go there and get Numbers to BLOCK so I do not get the Same Ridiculous calls I read about!
My Phone Blocks up to 250 unwanted callers!
I Get about 20 different ones so I doubt if I will ever fill the Blocker!

Saved me a lot of time and money! It is one stop for looking up any potential scam calls. Never had a bad experience. Who ever complaining must be solicitors scamming around.
Created an account, they deleted all the information I posted on the site. They evidently like the fact that debt collectors call people constantly and harass everyone and how scammers steal and harass people as well. 800 notes isn't for the users. They stand with scammers and the devilish debt collectors like Transworld Systems.
I visit there often and today I witnessed a scene that only reinforced my reasons for going there. A person came and began complaining about this 2 year old comment and demanded it be removed, because they said it was a revenge post, but refused to give any reason why. Well, after a few people asked questions, this person just starting to make idle threats to file with the Attorney General and file a law suit. The post in question was about a scam, the whole purpose the site is for!
Crazy part is, I see that person made a phony review here about it too, right under mine. They kept posting the same thing over and over, until the people of 800notes deleted them, then they posted more of the same! Some scammers just don't take the hint on when to quit I guess, as they go there to convince us that calls they make to scam us are legitimate calls, but they are discovered as the scammers.
Its just funny to me that I came to post about how 800notes catches people trying to trick us and see that the scammer came to try discrediting them because they got caught.
800 Notes needs to shut down their business. They allow individuals to post anything absent of validation. It tends to be a revenge site and the complaint board or, "Trolls" get high off of inappropriate posts and when you attempt to write something or respond to a post, they tend to block it. Their philosophy is guilty until proven innocent. Complaints continue to mount at Att. Gen. Office and law suits are in the works. Sooner or later, she will fry.
Along with other comments, I like this site and believe that it serves it's purpose well and is free. It does not try to redirect you in order to sell you something like a reverse number site. All I want to accomplish is to check out numbers to see if it is legitimate or who is calling. If it is a verified spam caller who has called others and use this site, I block it without answering it and check the box that I received a call too. I find it helpful and post numbers that I receive as well. The DO NOT CALL REGISTRY no longer works so the best defense at this time is to verify spam and block it.
I am happy I went to 800notes. I posted about a call that was trying to scam me and the scammer replied to my posts, saying the call was legitimate and to call them back. I knew Microsoft didn't put any such programming into Windows to make it call them with error messages, or that my License expired. There were people at 800notes that saw the reply and jumped on that person asking them many questions about why they are there and explain those lies they were trying to tell me.
I don't care what others say here or elsewhere about 800notes bullying, it was a bad person trying to scam me and deserved everything they got. I wish they could have caught that scammer and put him in jail too!

Have found this site very useful through the past few years. Type in the number and find out if your issues match the issues of other folks. I often recommend this site to friends trying to figure who is calling and why. Very useful.
This is my go to site for information on unknown numbers. Site staff are very helpful. There was a problem with a troll name Delete the Media, but fortunately he was expelled very quickly after user complaints. An awesome place
Funny how the scammers and shills come on here and complain... The site is FREE and gives you information on what numbers are SCAMs or illegal bill collectors. The scammers do not like that so they give bad reviews to try to keep people away. Regualar people complaining about a free site offering a service? No... it is the people who are trying to rip you off posting in frustration.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM 800NOTES!
I went to find out about a number that called me and forgot who it was. I asked a question about conflicting comments and was treated like a fool who didn't know how to use a phone. This is NOT a reverse Phone Directory, its a scam to gain information of calls other scammers used and get feed back from those scam calls that failed or succeeded.

The website is filled with both genuine reports and made up stories, to be taken with a grain of salt. I personally wouldn't rely on it, but it can be useful in determining if a call is one you might want to put on your call block list or not.
