What I really liked was there was absolutely no pressure to buy. I could have asked about products and then got a better price on the net. I didn't and that's because the representative was friendly, eager to impart knowledge and really enthusiastic.
As a new road biker, I called the shop after poor service from a chain and wasn't disappointed. After arriving at the shop to view a couple of frame size options I was given a full sizing session which lasted for over 1 1/2 hours and with all frame sizes in stock resulted in a bike and fit that I am delighted with. I also purchased some clothing and again was delighted the store did not resemble the normal jumble sale of kit which the chains normally carry. If you want honest advice from people who cycle with a passion then I highly recommend them.

Ordered a Fizik ICS saddle bag and a Giant C02 inflator. I currently already have one of the bags on my other bike but wanted a second and think these are great, very neat and tidy. The inflator I ordered wasn't actually in stock, but very shortly after placing the order I was emailed letting me know and they offered an alternative for the same price. Once this was agreed they were sent out straight away with a swift delivery. Very happy with items/price/service.
I placed an order and expected during the process to be advised of its expected delivery date, as promised on the site, but no ETA was forthcoming. It was only when I contacted customer service, to advise them of an incorrectly entered postcode, that I learned of the very far-out delivery date, which was unacceptable to me. Customer service were very understanding and offered a full refund, which was implemented immediately.
The team at 700 were absolutely superb! Their response time to emails was terrific, their information provided was helpful and they were just friendly to deal with. A highly recommended outfit for anyone looking to make purchases online!

Last three questions really do not apply as I havn't yet bought anything.
I believe you were genuinely trying to help me, but I felt rather railroaded. At the end of the day it looks as though I shall have "Hobson's choice" on a bicycle whereever I go and whatever I do. Not a good beginning to a relationship with a new steed.

I would highly recommend anyone who is serious about cycling to pay a visit to 700. I bought my bike from them last week and felt the team there (David Butcher advised me on the purchase of my bike) where genuinely interested in helping me get the right bike. I spent a good hour or more with David and didn't feel pressured at any time to buy a bike, and I felt David was more than happy discussing any questions or thoughts I had on potential bikes. Additionally I felt he was very interested in understanding who I was as a rider to better help me with my decision.
700 was recommended to me from a very close friend, and equally I would recommend them to anyone that was interested in finding a bike shop that is genuinely passionate about what they do.

Great service. The item i ordered was not available but I was contacted by the phone and agreed an alternative. Very friendly
A great web experience and I was able to pick up the bike within a week, which coupled to the price I paid I was very happy. I had a couple of running-in issues which 7Hundred offered to remedy quickly and FOC, however my home address wasn't convenient to get back to the shop, but I would have accepted the offer without hesitation had I lived closer. All in all, I would recommend.
