The best application and site. I always get out of it with a feeling of reassurance in myself. I encountered great people that were sincerely willing to assist me to get through ANY challenges I had. God bless them as you feel like at least someone truly cares.

About a year ago, I was going through a rough patch with my partner. We had been together for 4 months at this time. When this happened, our lives became very busy and I felt like my partner wasn't reciprocating my affection. I was led to 7 Cups. On 7 Cups I talked to someone and felt a lot better just by talking with them! I felt like I could just confide in them and let them know how I felt. They helped me know that my problems were valid and that everything was going to be okay. The Listeners on 7 Cups really know what they are doing. The attached video reminds me of how I feel on 7 Cups!

I love 7 Cups of Tea - so many resources and help to be found here. This is the site that taught me how to actively listen and take care of my mental health. I've had an account since 2014, and although I take breaks, I always return back to it somehow. I have recommended it to friends on several occasions. There are lots of great listeners as well. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of bad harmful listeners and the wait times are horrendous. It seems many do not take the listening courses seriously. I have been snubbed by some listeners without any explanation during a distressing time. Some leave suddenly in the middle of a chat with no warning. Some listeners have also guilted or shamed me when I was going through a hard time, making me feel worse. Therefore, this site is a great starting resource with plenty of potential, but needs tighter controls and tests on who its listeners are.

Awesome site I support it and you should too. I spoke to an amazing person. They helped me tremendously.

When I first got 7 cups about a year ago I was on there to get help. 7 cups helped me through all my difficult times and made me a better person. Here I am today perfectly happy and healthy and living a great life. I now volunteer as a teen listener to help other teens get better. This is honestly a really great site! :))

This community cares about its people and really invests in you. I was really impressed with all the ways you can help others, be it through listening or through projects. I recently became a Verified Listener which opened up my opportunities to become a leader in the community. I am going to start with Peer Support and go from there. So excited! Thank you 7 Cups for giving me the chance to build my confidence and become a better person to others. I have used this app as both a member and a listener. The support we offer is amazing! It's fast and free and gives people the support they need in the moment. I have seen how much a chat has benefitted these members, including myslef and it's wonderful how an app like this can help the mental health crisis we have in the world at the moment so much!

I have used this service, both as a listener and a member. They are so supportive of those who are listening and those who need help. Really recommend to those who want someone to talk to.

I've been working as a listener in this community for over 5 years. The people we have talked to and tried to help in some or the other way makes me proud and so satisfied. Many people need a ear, most of the times we cannot share our feelings with someone we know. Sometimes we are ashamed or extremely nervous about our loved ones reaction to some situation. Being able to discuss our feelings with someone who will not judge us really does open our minds about how to tackle the situation more carefully whilst respecting our loved ones feelings.

Other than being able to lend an ear to someone in their troubles. People have often come back to us telling how happy they felt about their situation after their conversation. We may not professionally trained, but we have a loving community of helpful people who come here and try to bring a smile on someone's face or just relief them just by simply listening to them.

I love this site for the most part. It's nice to be able to talk to someone when you're feeling like your all alone. When your feeling like no one cares. There is always a "Listener" to connect with 24/7...

However when I tried to talk to a professional therapist I was told it's $150.00 per month. Which wouldn't be bad if I had that kind of money. However I live on a fixed income of less than $600 per month. After I pay my bills I have very little left for these kinds of things.

It would be helpful if they would take insurance for the therapist, but I was told that they do NOT take medical insurance. With the state of things in today's world that to me makes no sense. Over 2/3 of our population is out of work and living on very fixed incomes. We are all over stressed and I'm sure there are a lot of people like myself who really NEED the help of a professional.

I personally have been searching for a therapist for over 9 months and all local people within 2 hours of were I live are not accepting new patients. I've looked for person 2 person visits or telemedicine visits with absolutely no luck.

With this site you can give encouraging words to those who might need it, or be the one who needs it AND I LOVE THAT
