This company is a scam! Don't believe the reviews below. Look at the BBB they have a F rating! I ordered furniture back in JUNE and every single month it keeps getting pushed and pushed. Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone for a refund. Literally eff this company. Do not purchase from them. I want my money back. This is ridiculous.

Going on two months now, and I still did not receive my furniture order. This company does not have items in stock. They provide bogus shipment dates and continue to move the shipment dates out, for weeks to months. They use their freight cancellation policy as their weapon by stating an item is on a freight to a local facility as a way to scam consumers. If you check the stock on the actual furniture company (the company whose name is associated with the furniture) you will see that the items are no longer available or not available for several months. How is it that the actual supplier, and other vendors do not have items in stock or backordered but 1stopbedroom has them all and they magically sit in the bed of a freight truck, no tracking numbers, no known destination, and forever changing ETA dates? I will tell you why, because that is how they make their money by charging $1.75 per pound for items "shipped" if cancelled since most people end up cancelling when it becomes clear the items never actually shipped!

What in the world. What are these positive reviews from?! We can't possibly be talking about the same company. Here's the short story:
Ordered a bed + mattress December 10,2020.
Was told 3 months for delivery - a long time away, but fine.
3 months pass, delivery date extended.
Each month after that - delivery date extended.
October 2021 - was more than ready to cancel my order, but received an email that my order was in transit to my local delivery company
Talked to 1Stop & local delivery company today - per 1Stop, my order was delivered and they were waiting on the local delivery company to schedule the delivery. Per the local delivery company, my order was CANCELED ON AUGUST 12,2022.
WHAT.
I call 1Stop back, they proceed to tell me the same story (waiting) - I give them the order number my local delivery company gave me and told her to take a look at the updates their representative put in (I. E. my order was canceled 4 months priors). 1Stop changed their tune and said "your case will be escalated to our 'Concerns' department." Oh great, I realllllyyy trust that.

Waiting 1 entire year for the delivery of a bed + bed frame... ridiculous. Not worth the $300 or whatever I saved.

Save your time and sanity - you get what you pay for.

Terrible company

Rating on this site is vastly incorrect. Their Better Business Bureau rating is an F. Multiple long delivery delays. Had to make numerous complaints before they even shipped my order though they had already taken my money. When order finally arrived the white glove service I paid for was not provided. I had to convince the delivery man to even get him to put the boxes inside. No delivery to my room of choice. No set up and no haul off of debris. I had to pay someone separately to move the items upstairs and had to set them up myself. Now having to try to find a way to remove all of the large boxes and packing material. I called and required a refund. They did give back $100.00. However, when I now look at my order on line it shows I never paid for white glove service but only home delivery. Unfortunately for them, the amounts listed on their new doctored account do not match up to the amounts in my bank account showing what I really did pay…which was for my ordered items and white glove service. They never give an actual invoice, just refer you to your online account with their company. Meaning they can make whatever changes they want. Too bad they can't change the fact that their numbers don't match the numbers in my bank account. And, if I had never originally paid for white glove service why did they refund me for it if I never paid for it in the first place.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE!

Please do not buy from 1stopbedrooms.com! Their online 5 star reviews are paid for incentive based and FAKE! Please look at the 1-2 stars and BBB MANY people have been scammed. It's a set up to purchase items that appear to be in stock, they'll call you in about a week and confirm the order and try to sell you other useless items. THEN they play the freight game. Your online order will show no movement in status, and they state "it's not updated correctly don't use that as your status" UMM ok wtf else am I supposed to use to check my order then? OH I SEE I'm supposed to call these dingalings, sit on hold for an hour, and listen to them lie through their teeth. If they even have any teeth … after a good 4 weeks, you'll catch on and want to cancel but they're already ahead of you because their real cash cow is to deny you a refund because they'll claim the item is on a freight. They will use their freight policy as their weapon and state that your order is on a "freight to a facility " or "Hub " a magical freight line with a magical hub carrying magical items that CONVENIENTLY don't have tracking numbers with real time ETA DATA assigned. After the run around you'll catch on to the game and check the stock on the actual furniture company (the company whose name is associated with the furniture) and you will see that the items are no longer available or not available for several months. You'll ask 1stopbedroom reps (All Indian all American 3-4 letter first names btw) for legit proof of items being shipping and you'll get nothing. You'll ask to cancel and you'll get the run around by some mystery person who goes by the name of "Jane S" who also conveniently only sends emails, but you can't directly phone this person. The longer they play the freight game the more they skim off your refund – if you even have one left that is. Also, any reviews stating items that were received are damaged and returning for refund is an even bigger nightmare. Don't get caught in the trap!

So after over 2 months of no furniture. They have rescheduled my delivery date. This company gets worse and worse. If you want furniture you have a better chance of going to a store and buying it instead of through this company. Worst ever!

Ripped off

We paid $1529. 11 for a Baudouin Weather Oak King Upholstered Panel Bed, and it arrived so badly damaged that they couldn't even assemble it. We immediately returned it, and they refunded us only $642.74. That means that our experience with 1stopbedrooms cost us $887.37.

Before you purchase from 1stopbedroom, carefully review their return policy, which is here: https://www.1stopbedrooms.com/return-policy/

There is a 15% restocking fee, plus return shipping fees of $1.75 per pound.

Be aware that this return policy apparently applies EVEN IF THE FURNITURE IS BADLY DAMAGED. It's not just if you change your mind or something.

1stopbedroom did not dispute how badly damaged the bed was, neither the delivery people, nor customer service. They did offer a replacement, but we weren't in a position to accept that.

Here's the breakdown directly from them:
Total Amount Paid: $1529. 11
Return Shipping Fee: (148 lbs x $1.75)= $259.00
Restocking Fee 15%: $229.37
Total Refund: $1040. 74

The refund took 11 weeks, and still came up short of that quote:
Actual Refund: $642.74
Unknown Fee: $398.00 (They never explained this)

Total Cost to us: $887.37

This was especially heartbreaking to us because it was a generous wedding gift from my parents. They worked hard for that money and really wanted us to be happy, and now we're so embarrassed.

Carefully review their return policy, and be aware of this risk. Even if the furniture arrives badly damaged, don't expect a full refund!

Terrible Customer Service! I don't know how they stay in business. Don't be fooled by some of the good reviews and their lower prices as I did. For the amount of stress, hassle and anguish this company put me through, I would be have paid more to avoid them. Ordering from them would be a gamble. As long as everything goes as planned, I guess you may not have an issue. I think that's why you see some good reviews for them here. Their customer service is either not empowered or unwilling to help customers when something goes wrong. It's obvious from talking and emailing with their customer service department, they completely lack culture of servicing customer and empathy to help customers. They seem to have an attitude that somehow customers are against them. This was my first time ordering from them. My order was over $5000. Please save yourself the trouble and stay away!

Defect bed frame came in but they refused to get me a refund. They only offer repairs for new bed. Head board trim was not nailed in, many unfinished paint, paint crack, 4 short legs. I tried to write one star review to the 1stopbedroom company website, and company website kept rejecting my one star review. I tried three times but all did not go through. Looks like website only takes good review but bad reviews.

Half of the order delivered fine. No damages. No missing pieces. The other half was supposedly in stock, but has now been backordered and delayed twice. They did refund $75 for the wait. It's now November and I ordered everything back in August. Apparently the bed frame is on a national backorder so it must be a manufacturer problem, not necessarily one stop. I'll update again in December. If it gets delayed again I'll probably get another frame.

So far it has been easy. Shipping sucked. We waited over a year for a bedframe to ship. We cancelled the order and ordered directly from Ashley and got the same bedframe in 3 weeks. Don't believe their "in stock" website.

I ordered two pieces that were listed as 'in stock.' I still haven't received both pieces six months later, I've had to call multiple times, and the last time I called the representative was rude, unapologetic, and hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Well done, 1stop. Would never buy from them again.

I would give this company 0 or negative stars if it would let me. Absolutely, by far, the worst company (period) I have ever dealt with in my life. I am kicking myself for not checking the BBB complaints. Because now I am the one writing one. I am writing this sitejabber review solely for the chance it helps someone avoid the nightmare I am going through right now. I paid over 3K for a buffet table/hutch that I got my wife for her birthday. I purchased this in June and her birthday was July 12th. I knew it would be a few days to weeks late based on the expected arrival date of late July. Well... I still have not received my furniture and it's been 5 MONTHS LATER (November) now. I've talked with their awful customer service department for the last half year and I don't wish that on my worst enemy. They've promised me 6, yes 6, different times that it "would ship/arrive" on X date and it never happens. It's been a viscous cycle of me emailing and calling them when X date comes and goes with nothing, they lie and say something like "Oh, I see here it will arrive on X date actually (usually 2-3 additional weeks") and then blame it on covid. I say "OK", and wait again with same results. I've asked for a refund 4 different times via 4 separate support tickets/emails and now and they are just ignoring me and sending the same canned response. They are refusing to give me a refund (even though FTC guidelines clearly states that I am entitled to one). Do yourself a favor and just go read the BBB complaints. Not sure what's going on at this company, but it's happening over and over. I am out 3K, no furniture, and now they won't even give me a refund. It's theft.

Subject: 3 months now when will I get my desk delivered

My 1st order was placed on July 31,2021. The delivery arrived on Sept 3,2021. After contacting you guys, I was told the replacement desk will be sent ASAP. It's been more than a month! This is ridiculous! If I check the order status on your portal it shows Oct 3-Oct-10 arrival on local delivery. Today is Oct 20 and it shows those past dates! I am very disappointed.

I emailed on Oct 12 asking for the update to Lauren, I received an auto generated reply saying your ticket has been created. After that no update or reply whatsoever! I am very very disappointed! 3 months and still haven't received my order. While placing the order, it said 3-4 weeks... Insane way of running business.

Oct 22: Messaged on Facebook (where they claim that they typically reply within a day). It's Oct 28th today and no reply yet.

All I've received in my email reply is that your ticket has been created. That's all. No call or email after that.

I called more than 3 times, I was put on hold for 20-30 mins without answer. It said press 1 and # to back at the number you're calling. I did that yet no answer.

The moving company called yesterday saying that they were only sent the top of the desk without any instructions so they're unable to deliver.

Right now, I just need my money back! WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME, EFFORT AND ENERGY!

Terrible buying experience!

I bought a love seat here because it was a good price and they offered free shipping. I checked out on the site no problem payed what I wanted and said free shipping to my zip code. I get a call two days later and they told me I live in a "remote area" and they had to charge me shipping. I live 30 minutes out of metro salt lake it's hardly remote. I tried to cancel at this point the guy said he would upgrade to the "white glove service" and they would set it up for me and he would throw in the wireless power pack so I agreed to go through with the sale at this point. Then he offered me a pretty enticing warranty for 5 years that covers everything rips, motor malfunction, ECT. I said no but he found me a "coupon" for $50 off so I agreed. 1 week later the love seat showed up and they dropped the box in my front room no power pack no white glove service. Customer service says I paid for standard shipping. They will not even acknowledge the powers pack and several attempts later I have still yet to get any info or even a receipt for the warranty. That's just bad business and I don't recommend you waste your time with these guys

Do not buy from them

Order made in June. Got partial order in September. Several items were broken/missing. In October got 1 replacement item which is also broken. They do not allow you to speak with management. They treat you like they are doing you some type of favor despite not delivering items. They refuse to refund me for the items I did not get.

1StopBedrooms attempted to help this customer through the SmartCustomer Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Would never purchase or deal with this company again. Their advertised delivery dates are fabrications, taking MANY months beyond. They also charge additional delivery fees to your card without consent. They do not allow for order cancellation and they do not honor price match. I have filed a BBB complaint and it has a warning on their website about purchases from the company.

Do not use this company

I ordered a recliner on 9-18-21. I do not have the recliner or a ship date. My order is still at stage 1 which was only supposed to last 1-4 days. Tried to cancel the order due to additional freight costs and was told about the cancellation fees. I also have an additional fee for a warranty. Service is terrible, policies are terrible, communication is terrible. Long hold times, short business hours, no response from management or cancellation team. Plus they have a D rating with the BBB for numerous complaints similar to mine.

I asked for upper manangment to call me back regarding the credit. I was given $199 (delivery fee) + $150 3 days off for failed delivery for loss of wages + $49 credit for 2 damaged chairs by Sam in writing via an email to me. Plus exchange of badly damamged beyond repair base and column.

Please have upper Mgmt call me now! It's been well over 3 weeks since my first request for them to call me. Now over a week for my seocnd request of a call back with now reply from 1 Stop Bedrooms

This is dragging on and on and is a very easy fix to which Andrew is now refusing to honor per Sam's previous commitment of a credit to me in writing via his email.

I spoke to Karla today who told me she was timing my call and it took me over a minute to explain to her (after being on hold for 40 min) she proceeds to then cut me off mid sentence and then hangs up on me.

Is this how you handle your customers who spend over $1000 on furniture from you?

I want UPPER MGMT to call me now!

This is poor customer service and extremely unprofessional to leave a customer waiting this long!

Who in upper Mgmt was asked to call me?

What is the persons name?

Why haven't they called me?

I want a call back now! I've waited long enough.

Horrible customer service. Waited months for order only to be told it was back ordered. Canceled order and charged astronomical amount of money to restock which was almost as much as the order and I received nothing except for a headache and extreme frustration. Do not order from this company!
