When we bought our new home, we needed additional furnishings for it. But at that time the world was in the middle of Covid; and we thought it wise not to travel in order to find what we wanted.
Then I discovered 1stDibs. Voilà! We shopped, very carefully, and though we made a few mistakes, most of the furniture and the objets d'art were just right – and at times both surprised and delighted us. Thank goodness for 1st Dibs!

Artists, beware of 1stDibs' deceptive tactics! Initially, they lure you in with a free contract subscription, but after one year, without any notice, they automatically switch you to a contract subscription costing a staggering $1200 USD per year. What's worse, you're trapped in the subscription with no way out until its end. They stealthily siphon money from your bank account, leaving you feeling helpless. It's nothing short of theft! Stay vigilant and avoid falling victim to this unscrupulous organization.
