We ordered a producer for my husband. After two weeks it had not arrived. I asked them to cancel and refund. We are told almost one month after the order that the refund is still in process.
A site dedicated to wheelchair patients should know that time is of the essence. I will stick to Amazon.

I purchased a tzora elite scooter. And now I have the freedom to go places without relying on having someone there to assist getting my scooter in and out of my car, the tzora breaks down to 3 light weight pieces that I can load and unload by myself it is by far the best scooter for someone that wants their independence

We were looking forward to our last trip to Hawaii. My husband and I are both 87. He is a stroke victim and I have COPD. Our traveling companions suggested we get rollators. We ordered them and never missed an event in the 21 days we traveled. They were easy to maneuver on the ship and on the land, buses and vans. So happy we took their advice.

I recently purchased a wheelchair from 1800wheelchair.com. I immediately heard from their customer service acknowledging my order and then heard from them a couple more times as the wheelchair was in transit. The wheelchair was delivered within 2 weeks and we are very pleased with our purchase. I will definitely return to them for any other medical equipment needs. It's so nice to do business with a company that cares about the sale... during and after.

I have a son with cerebral palsy. We needed a walker/wheelchair combination that was lightweight, yet sturdy, and would fit in the trunk of a very small car. The Rollz Rollator was perfect. It was more expensive than other rollators but well worth the extra money. The wheelchair arrived before the estimated ship date, well packaged, was in perfect condition, and easy to put together. It converts from walker to wheel chair in less than a minute.

I was impressed by the fact that 1800wheelchair personnel insisted on getting the serial number to the wheelchair so they could check with the manufacturer that I would be getting the correct part!

Wheelchair Purchase

I take care and live with my 93 yr. Old mother. It came to the point were she needed a wheelchair to get around. So I went out to purchase a wheelchair and was shocked at the price of just a basic wheelchair. So I got on-line, found 1-800-wheelchairs.com and found the exact same wheelchair for HALF the price anywhere else. I ordered the wheelchair and they delivered it to my front door with FREE SHIPPING!
The quality is great. Sturdy and not real heavy. Easy to maneuver and very smooth riding. The website is very easy to use.
I would recommend this company before you go anywhere else to purchase a wheelchair of any kind. They have a large selection of ANY kind you would need.
Thank you For 1-800-wheelchair. Now my mother can get out more without having to pay and arm and a leg.

So grateful

If I didn't have my transport chair I would have missed out on the one and only trip to Disneyland with my children and grandchildren. The chair was perfect. Easy to move, light, excellent to stear, comfortable. Everything I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks for creating a great product that created a great memory.

Exactly what we needed

In looking for wheelchair parts it's hard to tell if they fit a particular chair. I have ordered several items from 1800wheelchair and all have been just what we needed. Their customer service representatives are very helpful. I wouldn't order from anywhere else.

I ordered an item that showed it would be delivered in 4-5 days. Several problems have occurred:
1. The proactive chat person gets my credit card number which is not masked and emailed back to me in transcripts. 2. She then says it been declined which makes no sense as I have a limit of $10k and only have $500 on it. I give her a new card which she charged twice and I notice 2 days later. I get suspicious and check my previous card. Sure enough she charged me 3 times!
3. The tracking number is on the email. I call the shipping company and they say that's not one of their tracking numbers. Theirs is different. Bottom line they say they don't ship for this company.
4. I call 1800wc and they say it is being delivered and they are trying to call me. I wait 2 days, no call. I call Friday and he says no it's in a totally different state waiting to be picked up for shipping.
5. Day 16 and still no delivery.
So I have a person in desperate need of medical equipment and we are totally screwed!

1800RIPOFF

I think most of these good reviews must be written by ghostwriters if my experience is typical which a wheel chair repair shop tells me is more common than people think. Received my folding wheelchair in two separate mailings which was inconvenient. When I tried it out for the first time could not enjoy it as it would not drive straight. Contacted the company and was told a technician would contact me. Took many calls and e-mails before someone contacted me three weeks later. By that time I had taken it to a repair shop. They told me it was a problem with the joy stick and needed to be replaced. 1800wheelchair said it just needed to be reset and e-mailed the instructions to me that I forwarded to repair shop. Still didn't work. We waited for company to send a replacement joy stick and then found out after calling/e-mailing again that they wanted us to mail the joy stick back to be worked on and then if they couldn't fix it they would send a new one. Wouldn't a reasonable company replace the defective joy stick? We are going on six months since this all began and I am losing hope that it will be resolved. So much for a $2,000 chair. Don't waste your time with this company. Buy from a local source where you know you will get service.

My recent order from 1800wheelchair.com was a rolling walker with seat. My first order was for a wheelchair. Both are well-constructed pieces of equipment and are working fine for me. Ordering and delivery were very simple - and prices were excellent. I am presently going thru therapy after ankle surgery. I have shared my experiences with your company with the therapists at the facility, urging them to share with their other patients.
Thanks so much for making equipment affordable for people like me.

No less than amazed!

I called 1-800-wheelchair to get some assistance with an adjustable chair for my dad who is 6'3". Menzel was the greatest help. She guided me through every step as far as heights and the type of arm rests that would suit my dad the best. She even checked on shipping times because we needed the chair for my dad's discharge from bounce back. The "guesstimate" was 5 days, so imagine my surprise when the chair was on the front porch the next day! Not only that, but a similar chair was priced to me at $900 from local medical supplies and our chair was under $200. Definitely recommend 1-800-wheelchair!

Lateral Support Assembly (sku 7010)

I am delighted with your product! When I ordered the Lateral Support Assembly (sku 7010) I was in the midst of a frustrating tangle with wheelchair repair companies and snail speed medicaid procedures when I came upon your wheelchair.com by mistake. My son Russell, who is 27 years old and lives in a group home has cerebral palsy. He could not sit up straight until your lateral supports were installed! The installation was a simple procedure on his power chair, and he immediately began to sit straight and has so for the past 2 weeks. Thank you for your brilliantly designed product. It is very simple, elegant and it works! It has made me a happy father.

We were extremely pleased with the service we received from 1800wheelchair. LIsa was courteous, competent and very professional. The value we received in the custom wheelchair for my elderly mother was tremendous. We saved literally hundreds of dollars using 1800wheelchair. The professionalism and knowledge exceeded the experience we had previously relying on medical healthcare providers (including MD's) who really knew nothing about the needs of wheelchair users.

This has to be the worst company that I have purchased from. My scooter never worked, they kept telling me to do this and that... take it apart-new, why? Makes loud noise-that is normal... This went on for months. They appear to be nice-cons and before you know it they try and say it is too late to return it, even though it was delivered defective. Then when they agree to take it back, you get a bill for the return shipping and no refund. Yes, that is correct the have my money and their scooter. Who would think that I would have to endure so much agony and then not receive my refund. I feel that this company is taking advantage of people that need help! Think before you buy!
