My brother just used 1-800Flowers.com to send my wife fresh flowers for her birthday. They arrived at our home yesterday dead as a doornail. Wilted, dead, disgustingly shriveled up. Can't this company understand that sending live flowers in the heat in Arizona results in completely dead flowers. They used no cooling method and while the flowers were sent by Fed Ex they didn't have a chance. Don't use 1-800 flowers. In addition to the flowers being dead they were crappy, little and pathetic.
I'm not happy with the service (or lack thereof) I received from this company. After two days and failure to deliver my order 3 times, I asked for a refund. I'm not sure where the problem is occurring, with the bureaucracy of the company themselves or the florists they're using. Either way, I won't waste my time or money again. Also, the timing of the delivery of a flower arrangement for a birthday or funeral is kind of important.
Placed an order and paid to have it delivered on a certain date and now it has been delayed. So much for that. Tried to cancel the order and I got such a run around. "1800F***up" & "Fedup" are the worst to deal with.
Horrible experience. Just a total ripoff of a company. Corrupt! No flowers delivered and having to fight for a refund. How do people like this sleep at night? There should be a Class Action Lawsuit against this outfit.
I ordered from them twice….why, idk. My first order they got the color's wrong, my second looks nothing like it's supposed to and I bought that for a funeral arrangement. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. It's what I ordered vs what I received. I will NEVER spend another penny with this company
I ordered a nice flower arraignment for Mother's Day, well it looked nice in the picture on their website, but was anything like it. Completely busted flowers! Different colors than what I ordered, and they would not refund my money. Do not buy from 1800 flowers. They are terrible! They won't last long in business the way they treat people. First pic is what I ordered, second pic is what I received.
Ordered flowers to be delivered the 19th. Never made it. Promised the 20th and got 5 flowers in a vase that I paid 128.00 for. Promised redelivery the 21st. Flowers never came. Was offered 20 dollars as compensation for my sister who just lost her son and never received the flowers. Posted what was ordered and what was received. Would have have no stars but had to put one
What was received vs what was ordered. Am I crazy of it doesn't even look remotely the same? And we ordered the deluxe too. When I complained they only gave me a partial credit back. Never order from here. They are awful.
* I only chose this large company due to the limited NEXT DAY delivery options for a small town. I wanted a small bouquet of flowers delivered ON my daughters' Family Day while she was away at college. The FIRST question I asked was can this be delivered tomorrow? I was told Yes. I picked a cute bouquet in a basket. They did not have what I wanted due to the location. Disappointed, but the customer service rep. Offered other options, one of which I was OK with. Fine. I asked for the bouquet to be delivered in the afternoon and was told it would be delivered by the end of the day. When it was getting to be around 8pm that day and my daughter confirmed they had not been delivered, I checked my email and saw that it was in transit and a completely different bouquet had been chosen without my consent. NOT the one I ordered! I called the company and they asked wasn't I told of the switch? Not until it was already in transit! I cancelled the order and have demanded a refund. My daughter's special delivery never came. How heartbreaking and sad I was for her. They did say they would call her to apologize. Fine, please DO! What a bunch of LIARS! We'll see if I get the refund in ten days:-( NEVER AGAIN!
You can go to Trader Joe's and buy $25 worth of flowers and $15 worth of chocolates and it would be one hundred times better than what 1-800-flowers sent my sister in law for her birthday. It cost $126. Never been more disappointed! I wish I could post a picture of how pathetic the flowers looked. I think the chocolates were bought at the dollar store.
We ordered flowers for a funeral service 3 days ahead to ensure they would be delivered on time. On the day of the service, my wife received an email stating the florist was 'behind' and they wouldn't be delivered that day. We were absolutely furious since we provided ample time to ensure they would be ready. We finally 'settled' on them delivering to the house the day AFTER the funeral. They would not provide the name of the local florist who took the order and then failed to deliver as promised. I feel this was handled VERY badly. It really would have been nice if they had notified us a day or two PRIOR to the funeral service so we weren't scrambling. Instead, they made a promise to deliver and then contacted us at the very last second to notify us they couldn't deliver. We will not be using 1800-flowers again.
My kids live in different states so they both have used 1800 flowers for different occasions. Each time they have sent me a live plant it's dead within 2 weeks. Very disappointing to say the least, I am a gardener and have numerous plants so I do have some experience with house and outside plants. Azaleas, bonsai, magnolia, tea rose, all died quickly. Told my kids not to waste their money, a few times they sent "fresh-cut arrangements" same result but even quicker.
Very expensive arrangement arrived at 8:45pm
Flowers were old, and practically dead. Water had film on top. No ribbbon, or solution to add to old water. Clearly it was a used arrangement. I tried many times to call customer service only to get sent to overseas agent with very little English experience.
I ordered on Thursday 5/11 with a promise date of 5/12- 5/15. I have reached out now t9 customer service about 10 times and nothing has been resolved. They refuse to refund my order with another and another and another promise of delivery. I will never use this service again.
I ordered a beautiful $100 bouquet for Mother's day for my mother in law that was confirmed several times to be delivered before mother's day. I got a call on the 12th from 1800 flowers stating my order could not be delivered because there wasn't a shop that could fulfill the order but they could deliver it by the 16th via fedex. I told them to cancel but they convinced me to proceed and gave me a $16.99 refund. I reluctantly agreed. My mother in law called me this morning and said the flowers never came. I never received any confirmation or call or email that the flowers would not be delivered. I called 1800 flowers and was told that they don't know why it wasn't delivered but they would get a replacement out free of charge next week through fedex. That is not cool. I don't want flowers delivered next week and I highly doubt they would be. This was my first time ordering through this company and I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. They kept saying they would give me a $20 coupon on my next order which is insane. Why would I order again from a company that couldn't fulfill my first $100 order. I will take my money elsewhere.
Never again. Mothers Day flowers did not arrive. My son called and they said there would be a Monday delivery. Called on Tuesday and they said the flowers would not be delivered until Wednesday. When he asked why they said supply chain issues. If they knew they did not have the flowers they should have not taken the order.
I ordered flowers for Mothers Day and said they could deliver it on Saturday or Sunday. I paid for the passport as well to pay for future shipping and handling charges. 1-800 Flowers didn't deliver them and when I contacted them, they said I was lucky to get a refund because they ran out of flowers and drivers were unavailable. I ordered a week in advance. When I tried to get a refund on the passport option, they said I couldn't because I already used the service. They didn't seem to understand the flowers were never delivered, I didn't use the passport option as well. The customer service chat hung up on me 3 times, the call service gave me a spam number.
Mother's Day flowers were cancelled the same day they were to be delivered the 12th, they offered to have them delivered on the 16th. My mom had no flower's on MOTHER'S Day. Why agree to the order then cancel? This was very sad and unfortunate. All they extended foe the inconvenience was $20...
I tried to use 1800Flowers twice. Both times I had a problem! First was order was wrong! Second was no order was delivered! For the second order the weird thing is that it showed the order was delivered on the app? However when questioned the customer service rep could not even verify the order was sent?
Awful service. I ordered Mothers Day flowers on Friday, still hadn't arrived as of today Monday.
Contacted their support team and they responded with "I am sorry for the long hold. But upon checking there is no nearby shop for your order meaning there will not be a delivery that will arrive."
No notice, no I'm sorry, nothing. Just you're up a tree. Never going to do business with this awful company again.
