I really hate Zearn. Our teacher makes us do it! The questions are very dumb. They teach you things like 3-digit addition games in the middle of the fractions unit! The videos are stupid so all the kids in my class skip them. I also hate the box character that always makes you redo the lesson. My friend just got 3 redos and he is frustrated. So, don't make a Zearn account or else!

Zearn makes me worse at math it complicates simple math problems it makes mistakes in everything my whole class thinks Zearn is horrible it teaches stuff we already so you shouldn't use it because you will get mad the are lots of reasons you shouldn't use one of them being it makes you angry.

Uh, its fine. Bad stuff sometimes happens and zearn isn't perfect, but that's to be expected. Take the time to look into the site.

Ive been using zearn with my class for a while and they hate it they say its been glitching out and having the restart And I agree with them I had those same problems when I tried it on one of my students computer.

I have 4 kids on Zearn: my Kindergartner, 1st grader, 3rd grader, and 4th grader. I am a firm believer that it has not only given them a better understanding of math, it has also motivated them to try harder. We use it as a supplement on the side and as a remedial help. They enjoy the two games that are fluency builders done at the beginning, and then perhaps get bored during the instructional video and tower of power. However, these things although boring have improved their ability to do word problems twofold.

I paired singapore dimensions 1A with Zearn for the 1st grader. We were able to skip around the scope sequence in the work book to match Zearn. She did alot better in the workbook after we paired the two.
My Kindergartner does math you see primer with Zearn. They match up well. My 3rd grader does dimensions 3A, and I placed her in 2nd gr Zearn to build up confidence. I made the instruction videos optional for only her, so she can skip through them on the computer if she feels she knows it and only work on the tower of power which is basically 2 word problems for math. I like the sprints and sum snacks before that for math fluency.
Likewise, my 4th grader does a grade lower, 3rd grade Zearn, and is working in math you see delta (4th grade math). She has almost completed 3rd grade Zearn level. Her multiplication/division fluency is top speed. She scores high on those because of Zearn.

We homeschool, and so we have time to supplement with Zearn. We also use Kumon throughout the summer to keep skills sharp.
