The image below is "7th Grade math". The question was which image looks closest to the original. Zearn's "Tower of Power" teaches us how to climb the tower to get the power of losing brain cells. My grade is lucky enough to my provided with Desmos as the main math provider. We are only required to use this brain pollution as "advanced math", while the rest of the school has to use it for all of the math classes. I'm disappointed by the fact that they ask you to donate to this $#*!. Whatever nimrod made this can go $#*! themselves.

Most of the questions are elementary level. For example, I am in 8th grade, and I get 10s and 1s blocks to add and subtract. This is way too easy and they require 3 of these a week. Other times when I get actual questions I get x,y coordinates and have to plot them or find the coordinates on the graph from the shape or letter. Then the tower of power. If I ever do miss a question, I have to redo all of it, like just let me put the right answer in. And, when finding the x,y on the graph, if I type in for example, 3, it is right. But, if I type in 2 and 2/2 or whatever, it says nuh uh. This makes zero sense.

One day, i was watching my son do zearn. He got a question wrong and asked me to help so i answered the question, but i mistyped and got it wrong and it electrocuted me, which made me extremely hard. Now me and my wife use tasers in bed

Teaches me nothing, yet my teacher requires 4 lessons in 2 weeks? Resets me on tower of power when i get 1 question wrong, then helps me with the question and then gives me a whole new question. The videos are useless because you can just skip over them. Overall, I don't recommend this app for your children. Find something else, even imagine math is a better app.

This website is uneducational and frankly doesn't help my child with math. I think you should delete this website and his teacher hates this website too. The curriculum is honestly stupid as hell, it frustrates my child and he doesn't learn anything from it, It's a very immature website in my opinion.

Stressful and annoying. Brings my grade down and doesn't teach me anything. Makes me do a ton of steps for super easy problems. The videos are too long. The only good thing is that you can see your progress.

First off Zearn is just terrible. Next, there is this tower of power thing and if you miss type 1 number you get sent back to the bottom and there is this annoying block of cheese that says, need a boost, just because I miss typed 1 number and then you get a whole different question after your done with the boost. The only thing Zearn did for me is get me mentally and physically insane. The only thing Zearn really tought me is to break my computer. Very bad, don't use. For your own safety, I learned that the hard way.

I'm 11 years old, so I'm just going to be as mature as I can with this. Zearn is very aggravating, because it resets me everytime I get a question wrong. Also, I would like to add that it is behind in our in-person classwork. We're learning percentages and stuff and decimal multiplication while it's still on ratios. Not very good. It doesn't help me learn either, I prefer Khan Academy if I'm being honest.

TL;DR: Teachers, please stop using Zearn. It does not help students.

Zearn helps my child learn and grow. He loves the wild cards, the lessons, and the Tower Of Power! He gets frustrated sometimes, but he gets it next time, due to Zearn's help. So THAT is why I love Zearn.

Zearn is HELL, it kills me. It overcomplicates questions like "9x6" and its worse than you think.
I, myself, hate Zearn because it does not help with math at all. Children are having trouble focusing on stuff due Zearn pressuring them into getting it right, and if they get it wrong on ToP (Tower of Power), they have to restart and do a entirely different equation, causing them to feel tormented because they are being forced into something they don't like. Overall, don't use Zearn at all, and schools shouldn't use it either!

Zearn has caused me to nearly brake school property. I'm enraged. I'm mad. It makes simple awnsers like 39+1 impossible. (example ---> 39+1 =?) Awnserd 1, than makes me decompose a specific number without any instructions into doing this

Basically just elongating this easy math question for no reason. The tower of power had caused me to get enraged and filled with anger. I don't mind the cube but i do mind when it brings me down to the bottom making me even more mad. Day is instantly ruined when im told to do zearn. This website is a mistake.

On the tower, if you get ONE thing wrong, you go back to the beginning. They make you watch a video if you get ONE thing wrong. ONE THING. My 6th-grade math teacher makes us use it thought. I used to use IXL in kindergarten, and like the review title, It's basically just the same thing. I would delete both if I could.

So basically this app is used to torture your children with its so called "tower of power" which is easy but likes to change your answer to another answer then you have to deal with this dumb box that is useless and I can't even tell you how many times I have gotten write up for destroying your iPad over this thing please delete this learning curriculum

This causes pain in those who use it. I would never recommend this program to any school. It might be free, but the amount of pain and suffering this causes is not worth losing many, many hours of students life. Very ineffective.

This program is the worst possible thing a student could use to learn a subject. This program will reset you in something called "The Tower of Power" if you get a question wrong, even if it is a mild typo. This program stresses kids out when teachers assign this, and the video is so insanely long and unhelpful it's just better to skip to the questions, since you don't reset on the video.

As a student, I need to learn. I get good grades and one of the top students, so when we used this for the first week everyone hated it. Even me, and it's still like that. The reason is that, when you learn you want to be hooked and like it, even if you don't like it at least learn something. But for this, you forget everything as it's just so boring when you're done, the only thing you know is that you're done but you don't want to do more. Sometimes you're stuck on it for hours as it isn't giving an answer. Know that you have to pay for this crap, do not get this for your students and find something other but this.

This business is oh so bad children have to use it every single day and never learn anything this aplication/website makes teachers lazy and honestly the teachers make it worse.when you skip my teachers say to stop when I obviously don't find it too difficult. In short dont use zearn it's a waste of your time and the schoolbourds

I've spent about 12 hours on zearn so far, i've learned nothing, all that i do is the same equations over and over again with little change between each lesson.

Zearn is really bad to me is really bad because like if you're on the Tower of Power and you get something wrong like every single time you have to you know go through these steps you know to help you get through the problem right but like every single time it resets you all the way back to where you started on that problem I don't like that and at the beginning, it starts off with like random stuff that you're not even learning about so I went on there to learn about fractions and I saw in the first like two parts it was like kindergarten so so I'm like what the heck.and say if you save your work and then come back the next day is has this little pop-up box saying you have to sigh back in so I do that and where all my work? In the trash GONE so that is why I'm giving it a 1-star rating.
