I ordered a necklace from Zales Jewelry online and after receiving it the stones in it were so tiny I could hardly tell th we re ×ere any. The cost of this necklace was so expensive I should have a very had a larger chain and stones that were visible.
I will never purchase from them again.

The WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE in Miami- DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE in INTERNATIONAL MALL, MIAMI, FL *******- the sales people will tell you any lie so they can get more commission- they have extremely DISHONEST AND LIARS as Sales Associates, DO NOT ESPECIALLY DEAL WITH Sales woman name BIBIAN- she a freaking liar, no morals and her store manager ARIANA is USELESS AS WELL. Customer Service in this world has literally gone out the window, when the reason these people have jobs is because of consumers like myself. They will literally force you to get warranty, lie to you about what it covers, and don't even give you the warranty pamphlet. Be prepare that when you go in to file a claim with them, they will not honor what was told to you when you bought the item in the first place. They are deceitful and dishonest- STAY AWAY FROM BIBIAN (older women with reddish/brownish)- after admitting she had told me that the warranty cover "lost/theft" when I went in she basically said "oh sorry if I did not explain myself correctly", skank, what is there to explain - it was VERY CLEAR to me exactly what you meant but you dont have the decency to own up to what you tell your clients and the store manager, ARIANA is the same crap, USELESS and might as well have been to tell me the same thing, LIARS! I will make sure that everyone in this city knows about this piece of crap store! Zales has very unethical, thieves running their stores- too many jewelry stores in the world to deal with this!
I will never buy from them again. The company doesn't have a jewelry repair and offer a guarantee on all high end purchases. It takes 1 hour to dip the rings in rhodium but they have no jewelry repair employees to do it. The solution is to take your jewelry and send it off for 3 or 4 weeks. Then it comes back and look worse than before you sent it. The solution to that was "well we would be more than happy to send it off again. " Zales are you crazy I would like my $15,000.00 plus wedding rings on my fingers as they are supposed to be. I even told them to let me know what store had a jewelry repair person and I would drive there. Wow don't you know not one store in the whole USA has a repair person in it. Please don't make the same mistake my husband and I did and buy from Zales go to a good creditable jeweler Finks is my choice after this experience I don't need the headache. My rings are two completely different colors after they rhodium dip them. Photos below
They have the worst costumer service! I contacted them almost 3 months ago for a price adjustment. My ring was fully paid for and they tell me the refund system has been down for 3 months but I can pay money. Ridiculous! The quality it not the same anymore. Consider shopping else where
So I spent quite a bit of time researching and looking for rings. So I finally find the right ring ( or at least I thought I found it). Go to the store at the Kennesaw location. We go over everything and I make the purchase. Everything is great right? I wish! I'm supposed to pick this ring up on the 30th of September but I don't hear anything from the store. No big deal, I head down to the store on the 2nd of October and the woman states nope, not here. She doesn't bother to take a minute and look. So fast forward another week, still nothing.
I call there today and of course no ring. The manager pf the store finally calls me back and states that the order has been canceled! They sold it to someone else! So now I have been on the phone with customer service for over an hour listening to her fumble her words as she is trying to upsell me another ring rather than keeping their word and advertised price. Not to mention they told me at the time of purchase that the ring had a warranty only to find out that they lied about that as well. Now after being on the phone for this long that can't figure out how to give me my money back.
They have taken what was supposed to be a great thing and have done nothing but ruin the entire thing.
I have never seen anything like this in my life. The worst customer service I have ever seen!
Bought protection plan. Covid came along close store now I would have to drive two hours to drop ring off for service. No help from sales I just wanted my plan money back NO won't do it
I would like to recognize Bria for her amazing customer service she provided me today! Bria is from the Sandford Fl location and she was extremely helpful and was able to resolve my issue. I have been trying to find the guarantee of a necklace I bought that I needed to fix and she went above and beyond to help me. Now days you cant really find excellent customer service and she has shown that this still exist. Thank you Bria.
My husband and I made a larger purchase from zales. Customer service at our local zales was wonderful. We got the zales credit card and were making monthly payments. This is where the problem started. They charged us twice on a monthly payment. We requested to be refunded and there was no problem. After making payments for tour months we decided to pay off the card. We paid the remainder and charged twice. It just about drained our bank account. After talking to customer service we were told we would be refunded the same day. Three days later we called again. We were told the next day we would see our refund. It was still not there. We called again and were told in five days we would be refunded. We talked to a supervisor she told us within ten days we should see a refund after getting a letter from our bank stating things the bank has never heard of. After talking to zales again the time frame changed once more and said it could be up to 21 days. The pulled out close to $10,000.00 and are not in any hurry to help with a refund. They have put us in a really rough financial situation and do not care to help at all. Not even the supervisor with the zales credit card was easy to work with. She just stopped talking or hung up we couldn't tell. We were polite and were just trying to get a time frame and get the funds expedited but they refuse saying it's there system. Do not get a credit card through this incompetent company. It's more of a problem than anything.
Service was great at store but all I want to do is activate my card and set up my online payment. Everyone I have talked to are idiots. Something so simple but can not get it done on the phone or online. Dropped calls and call back later bull... Save your self some stress and go somewhere else.
I am wearing a diamond bracelet for almost a month. Once latched the bracelet will not unlatch. My husband gave it to me on our 6/11/22 wedding day. He had a problem opening the latch before he gifted it and took it to the store where they told him it is supposed to be that way. Well it has been on for over a month. We are told it will take another week for customer service to help.
Each person we talk to has a different story. We keep getting put off. And I wear my diamond bracelet gardening and painting. ( with tape over it).
I'm going to reach out one more time then take it to a jewelers that will help us.
Do Not Trust Zales!
Long story short, didn't know I was on a promotional deal with their credit card. I bought a 10-13 thousand dollar ring, had the bill down to $800 one month and the next month it was up to $2100 with incurring interest. Offered to pay off the full $800, they declined and said there was nothing they could do. Rings are already a scam, don't waste your time with this company who will try to milk everything out of you they can. Wasted hours calling around to get help, told me my final option was to send a TEXT to dispute charges online, final verdict, I'm paying off the $2100 and never using them again. From a 2-3 year long customer.
This is a shady company that does bad busy. Do not buy jewelry from Zales. Find another store. This company will be out of business soon.
IF you purchase Anything with battery make shore they put a new one on your merchandise, I purchase a Bulova watch for my wife from nashua store. And the battery was a. No no. M I good. And they will not do anything about it. Within 34 days. Of purchase..
I attempted to pay the card off but the card company never took the payment, a month later I get a bill with a returned item fee. So I called and told them I tried to pay but you didn't take the payment and I had since shut that account down due to fraud attempts can you waive the 29 dollar fee. They said no/ we don't mind losing customers over fees. So I paid it off and canceled the card never going to Zales or Kays ever again.
I had ordered a pendant for my mother.
Item ordered on the 1st and tracking said shipped on the 2nd and I should expect delivery on the 7th. On the 6th I logged on to track shipment and when I checked the UPS site it said a ticket had been created but carrier had yet to pick it up. I decide to call customer service to see what is going on. Wait time initially said under 2minutes... I was on hold for 53 minutes. I finally got in touch with a representative who refused to deal with me as my husband name was on the account even though the card is in both our names. I have him give permission for me to speak on his behalf. Representative then asks for the billing address and as I paid through PayPal it was the recipient address instead of my residence. I had the info right in front of me and she refused to deal with me and ended up talking over me and hanging up. I called back and spoke to another representative who was infinitely nicer and requested a refund. I will not give a company money who handles customers this way.
My husband and I absolutely love Zales, the customer service is rated number 1 in our book! The store manager Jeffrey Chappell at store #1600 in Albany, NY you are amazing, if anyone shops here please see him, Fred ( ASM) or Rosi, they all have amazing energy great attitudes and treat you like a human and not someone who is lower then they are. Thank you all so very much for everything you do in helping us find what we want.
My wife and I purchased our wedding rings through Zales 10 years ago. We bought the additional warranties she faithfully went to our local zales every 6 months for them to evaluate them look for damages to keep our warranty. We recently found out that our local zales has closed and the only way we could keep our warranty active was to make 65 mi one way trip to the next closest Zales I find that absolutely ridiculous when calling customer service they told us their policy is within a hundred miles people would have to make the trip twice a year I feel they want to keep the warranty they should accept an inspection from a local jeweler unfortunately they told us the only way to do was make the trip. Very dissatisfied of course we weren't told this when we bought the rings.
On March 13,2022: I've been a customer of Zales for years. I had the worst experience today. My husband and I went and waited patiently to be waited on, to only have two people walk through the door and be waited on while we were standing there for over 20 minutes. So we left. We were profiled. I do believe they thought we couldn't afford anything in the store. I went to the store specifically to order a ring I saw online. We actually spoke to one of the individuals that came in after us and was waited on. She is a regular of the store, so instead of waiting on us they waited on her, hoping to get a sale. I was promised a call from the district manger, the district manager said she called me. I never received a call. We were left feeling humiliated over the entire experience. I went to another store and purchased a different ring. I was informed that Zales and Kay's are affiliated. The customer service at both locations was totally different. All I wanted was a phone call back. I guess the don't feel that we are worth the time. The sales associates at the Zales in Patrick Henry Mall, Newport News, Va. Need to be retrained. I went to another store and spent almost $4000, I'm still disappointed that I didn't get the ring I really wanted, because of the way we were treated. After reading the reviews for this store, it seems that we are not the only people that have been treated badly in this store. As of today, March 17,2022 I still have not received a phone call from the district manager. I have attached a picture of the ring I originally went to the store to purchase.
Awful, the sales reps are rude, did not show any understanding of the situation and how frustrating/upsetting it is. Sent my ring in for a prong repair, took over a month in the first place to get it back. Then was informed my ring was "damaged beyond repair". It is clear that the diamond was either swapped or severely damaged while being repaired. The only options were to take my damaged ring and just accept it as is or GIVE them my ring and get a completely new ring... while they keep my original ring. The whole point of an engagement/wedding ring is the sentimental value so the fact that they expect you to just be okay with the fact that they damaged the ring, and then don't want to allow you to keep your sentimental ring is insane. They really need a better policy or either better jewelers who don't damage your diamond. This has been escalated to corporate and no one is willing to take responsibility, saying it's an issue with the "polish and clean" of the diamond. Took it to an outside jeweler and was told it looked like it was damaged from the heat used to repair the prongs. Very unhappy with the service and of the sales person who was arrogant, rude, and difficult to deal with. Acted as if I was making it up or crazy, but you can clearly see the difference. I ordered diamond earrings for my wife on 2-16-22. Delivery date was on 2-28-22 still haven't received earrings on 3-3-22
Call customer service 2 different times and both times they refused to refund me or give me a delivery date. Manager on customer service line refused to refund my money and hung up on me. The store told me I had to order this item online, it was the only way to get the item I wanted.
I spent over an 1 1/2 just on hold just to talk to someone from customer service.
I expected a high quality of customer service. I will be looking for a different jewelry retailer for now on!
Answer: Zales suck. Having to have your ring checked every 6 months is a complete joke. Employees don't know what their doing. They are sales people, not jewlers.
Answer: Unfortunately I didn't have any success with sales last Christmas and years prior we always have but here lately it's gone to the dumps
