From the business

Zacks Investment Research is one of the largest providers of independent stock, ETF and mutual fund research in the U.S. The performance of our stock research recommendations has consistently ranked among the top research firms in the U.S. by independent evaluators of equity research. This research anchors our active trading services, long-term investor services, and powerful resources and tools.

At the center of everything we do is a strong commitment to independent research and sharing its profitable discoveries with investors. In fact, helping investors find success has been the life's work of our Founder and CEO, who in 1978 armed with his PhD from MIT, hit upon a key discovery:

Earnings estimate revisions are the most powerful force impacting stock prices.

This crucial finding led to the creation of our proven Zacks Rank stock-rating system that harnesses the power of earnings estimates. Since 1988, the private Zacks #1 Rank List has more than doubled the S&P 500.

[Income Investor Editor Bryan Hayes is] doing a great job. [He explains] what trending numbers and issues mean rather than just saying what the numbers are, i. E. "In another positive sign, the VIX Index (-4.56%) fell as stocks rose. It's a step back in the right direction after a move higher earlier in the week. A continued move lower is desirable, and if we can break the earlier low in August, stocks could really pick up steam. Normally, lower volatility and a downward-trending VIX coincide with rising stock prices." A VIX@ -4.56% doesn't mean much to me, but it does now with your explanation. Thanks! Those underlines aren't guess work, that's professional interpretation in my view.

That's what I appreciate. Keep it up!

In this last sea-change of a year, I began to self-manage my retirement investments. I glean more from Zacks straightforward, common sense analysis and guidance than from any other source. Their presentation anticipates most of my questions, I believe, because Zacks "meta-view" explains the logic behind their trades, presumes no special knowledge on my part and is inclusive. I. e., not jazzed up!

Thanks so much for the June Zacks Ultimate Strategy Session and the logical, calm and technical approach you have, and share, with regard to the market with your subscribers. It hasn't been an easy 2022, but you're doing a fantastic job and have helped me to implement a balanced approach to investing in tougher times. I've learned so much from the work you do and look forward to more successful investing in the future.

ETF Investor Service
June 21, 2022

The Zacks ETF Investor Summary Emails are valuable because the info comes directly to me. I don't have to log in or have a computer to access the information. PDBC is this year's big winner for me at over +25%. XLE and XOP are not far behind. These wins are in the tens of thousands. Priceless.

Tremendous value. Thank you.

Value investor review.
May 31, 2022

I have followed the Stock Market for 40 years. Investing on my own did not produce great results. I tended to stick with mutual funds. I started looking at portfolios run by reputable firms such as Zacks. The Value Investor fit best with my investment thinking and comfort level. I'm impressed with Tracey Ryniec as she does the research I do not have the time for and is well worth the yearly subscription fee.

May 4, 2022

David,
I was NOT familiar with this stock at all.
Upon reading your recommendation, and then looking it up on Zacks.com, I put in a bid for 100 shares@ $17.58. I've been watching go up and up since!
Your recommendation, as usual, is "money."
Thank you very much for your helpfulness and expertise.
God bless you,

Inconsistent
May 20, 2022

-The managers of the various investment profiles inside Zacks (home run, value, income investors etc.) don't listen to their own website recommendations, i. E. they buy stock that ranks number 4 or 5 and sell stock that ranks number 1 or 2. Many times they keep stock in their portfolios even when ranking drops to 5. How do you expect investors to trust zacks score rank if your own portfolio managers don't follow.

-The rank scores (1 to 5) feels random sometimes, i. E. you might have a core =1 (strong buy) for a stock that has sub-scores of F for all criteria of value, growth, and momentum. The opposite is also true with stocks ranking at 5 while scoring A for all criteria of value, growth, and momentum.

-I have not made any significant gains by following the rank scores nor any of their portfolios.

I subscribed to Zacks services with two specific objectives: increase my performance and reduce working times. Both achieved! An average of +50% profits YoY and only a few weekly hours of financial and technical analysis.

Always good to have guidance
February 9, 2022

I value the Zacks Ultimate Additions and Deletions because it's valuable cross-check on other investing inputs and my own thinking. Various portfolio additions uncover things I wouldn't have found otherwise. And deletions awaken me to get rid of things I probably would have kept too long.

I use Zacks Ultimate Additions and Deletions as my guidepost from which to select my trades. Recently, I closed two positions in CRWD and PCTY for a +36% return and a +52% return respectively, courtesy of Zacks Counterstrike. Both positions were entered on 1/21 which means that I generated those percentages after only 10 days."

Zack's Value Investor is Excellent
January 17, 2022

Value Investor Intraday Intraday Emails with Buy and Sell Alerts are most useful. When Editor Tracey Ryniec says it's time to buy or sell, you buy or sell. She is excellent. I've made more money using Tracy's work with the Value Investor than could imagine. Some prime examples are ABBV, ADM, PAG, WW, MU.

An excellent service.
January 6, 2022

Zacks has been an incredibly lucrative service for me. Using their rating system, I have been about 90% successful in selecting stocks poised to grow. I use their information combined with my charting techniques to be very successful. For example, their top 10 achieved 36% growth last year. My trading of those stocks gained me 103% for the year... time consuming, but worth it.
Once I've picked a stock and know it by tracking it daily, I use their rating to decide how much I'm going to add. So if it's a 1A rating, when the chart indicates add, I add aggressively. If the stock dropped to a 5C rating and chart says to add, I still add, but just a small amount.
I also find their whispers for earning season very helpful. I don't normally trade on earnings, but if it has a negative whisper, I may lighten up beforehand.
I have also figured out that a 5, which they say is a strong sell, can also just mean underperformed. I trade it with less money perhaps, but I dont delete it from my portfolio necessarily. Often, a stock that I've gotten into and track throughout the year will start as a 2 and drop to a 5, only to come back to a 3... so I learned not to panic when they drop a stock to a 5.
Overall, the small lifetime membership price has paid off for me very quickly. I highly recommend this service.

Access to Zacks' 5 Stocks Set to Double Special Report helps shaping the more risky part of my portfolio.
A couple of winners in my portfolio like Digital Turbine and InMode. Of course you can't always win, but sofar the majority of the bets has worked out well.

Zacks #1 Stocks
November 10, 2021

The Zacks Premium homepage on Zacks.com, Zacks #1 Rank List and Industry Rank features are most valuable. The Zacks #1 Rank list has been great for me. It gives me unknown, to me, stocks that I could research. I have been using Zacks for one year now. I have purchased three #1 ranked stocks that all have at least doubled. After seeing a #1 Ranked stock, I check on the Industry Rank. Then, I look at the earnings estimates.

Beware of FREE TRIAL
December 1, 2021

They tell you it is a free trial and then send so many emails that no-one could possibly read them all, or want to. Redundant non-information with lots and lots of requests to purchase other services. Buried in those hundreds of emails is a renewal notice that I didn't look at because once you have read one of the emails, in my opinion, you have read them all. Offer is free? Until the renewal notice comes, then YOU must cancel or be charged. Make sure you don't delete the many useless emails without viewing them first, you will want to locate the renewal.

Zacks Premier Service
October 18, 2021

The Zacks #1 Rank List, Zacks Earnings ESP Filter, Premium Screens and Industry Rank provide information I use alongside another source of stock evaluation to choose stocks to invest in. In the last two years, I have been able to beat the market handily (even this bull market). I'm very satisfied with my results. The Industry Rank and Earnings ESP Filter are particularly valuable.
