There are too many fake profiles on it. I paid the twenty dollars for one month and when I would give these men my personal info, phone # & email, they either ignored it or said we need to talk more on the site since we don't know ea. Other well yet. Which didn't make sense, do u can tell it is being written to u by one of the site's employees. And it's true they start out sending you the most gorgeous people who are the fakes, like dr.s, lawyers, architects, all with model photos probably purchased, to get your interest do u spend lots of money talking to them. They are mostly fake!

Really a waste of time unless you're looking to be amused by all of the entreaties by supposedly well-educated men who can't spell correctly or use correct English grammar. Don't spend any money, not one dime, peso or whatever. There are plenty of people in the world to meet; I'm a life coach and have known a number of couples who met on Facebook.

I've been on a lot of dating sites and I'm very good at spotting a scam, but this site was so obviously an ORGANIZED scam and I will tell you why. First of all, they make you buy credits for time to talk to people, not too different than others. But next MOST of the people that start chatting you have professional pictures. This is a classic catfish tip-off so I got curious and started chatting them up. They all say the classic things they think women want to hear, but when I tried to give them my WhatsApp, every one of them said they wanted to "take it slow, and stay on the app longer". What man ever wants to take it slow?! Then, all of a sudden with each message exchanged the app wanted me to buy more credits to read their message. That's when it became obvious. Travelmates hires people to chat you up and keep you on their app so they can charge you to chat. It's so obviously an organized scam by Travelmates themselves. These catfish don't want to scam you personally, their job is to keep you on the app. Don't fall for it ladies. It's a waste of time. And I would be willing to bet money they pay people to leave fake reviews on this website as well. Which is why I uploaded my receipt. You know I'm a real person and I'm objective.

You chat with men and they make you spend a lot of money. When you offer to send private emails, they oppose to it. So for a chat with some man, I spent $120 in 30 minutes. That means I could have spend $1000 in only few hours!

Most likely the girls are getting paid to keep you chatting with them as long as possible, so you will use all your credit and pay again.

I had a very bad experience with this site, be very aware of the ways this site operates, your money will get chewed up faster than water running through a tap. In my case was the match tried to send me his phone number which was 13 digits, however, he had to send it one digit at a time using email, I had to open 13 emails, it cost 10 credits to read each email, then it adds up to $160 to try to get all 13 digits, then It was still incorrect. I believe the site has done the utmost to prevent people from connecting quickly, so you need to stay on the site, keep on paying for every click that you make, honestly, viewing photos, read an email. It is the most hideous way to operate and steal money that I have encountered.

My experience is that none of the contacts would/could provide proof of life. No-one could step outside the side to Skype or call, and most contacts were in remote locations like Russia or Ukraqine. I suspected the contacts were paid to keep you on the site and paying.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that this site is owned by the same people who own Anastasia Dating.
As soon as you sign up, a bunch of ``girls`` are sending you messages, and when you send them your e-mail address, no replies. They want to keep you on the site, so you will pay for every little step you take, e.g. looking at their pics etc. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

I had been on this site for 2 years, but hardly went on or responded to emails as I wanted to focus on my business. A month ago I decided to connect with someone I had interest in, whom I had briefly spoken to previously. I loaded some serious credits(a lot of money), as I really wanted to build a connection. ‍‍Oh wow! It was like I was speaking to a different person. He was making random statements, not responding to what I was saying. I eventually asked if he had been drinking. Something felt off and weird. That's when I decided to research reviews for travelmate, and boy was I shocked. I've since changed all the info and pics on my profile as you cannot delete it, no matter many times you try or ask them to. My profile pic now says scam (there's no image of me) and info about myself says this is a scam and yet, still their bots are hard at work telling me how beautiful I am. And just for the hell of it and to finish my money in credits left, I continued to chat with some guy and took him on about being paid to make money out of people looking for genuine companionship. He obviously denied it, acted super offended and said he didn't know we had to pay on this site. To which I said, because you are the one being paid. Then my credits disappeared just like that! "Supposedly finished"

These are getting so common I think someone would have to be a real 90-caliber sucker to give a site like this any money. All the women gorgeous or near-gorgeous. "53" year olds that look 26. A blizzard of emails with seductive messages. Hard to say if any of them respond to personal questions with realistic answers as you have to pay to read the responses, and I won't. I gave it two stars only because it's good for a laugh and the pretty pictures. Otherwise, a zero. Read a book, better use of your time.

I don't wanna write a long review. I'll let the pictures do the talking. My profile essentially said I was a minor looking to travel the world for friends only. Obviously I am not but I wanted to see what would happen would I still get people wanting me? Completely ignored my profile it's not a person it's a bot your talking to a computer and they want you to pay for the privilege!

I met a guy and I talked with him for almost 2 years and suddenly he disappeared and ended up a spent a lot of money and I will never know if he was real. I don't understand why, they do exactly what the other dating site do. They should charge one fee and you can talk as much you want. They say the fee is for the employees to check on the members, this is bullcrap. My male friend signed up and nobody never asked him for anything and they never asked me either. It is not worth it, there is nothing special on this dating site. They are going to take all your money like they did to me. Be careful Big No

It is too bad that I have to stop using this site because the customer service with their whatsapp and Facebook messenger with not answer your request when they over charge you twice. Due to the negligence of not answering the complaints file it could be taken as a fraudulent website. Like a gentleman recently noted models being paid to keep you on so they can get u spending more money. Hopefully someone will answer my request soon.

I never thought that dating is so much fun when done while travelling. I found someone to go on a cruise trip in YourTravelMates. We did so many activities together. Everything was just so exciting! I will forever keep my memories with him. We still keep in touch after our tour, and plan to see each other again some time. I hope we can make this relationship work.

This site is living proof of PT Barnums old adage... There's a sucker born every minute. Why would a stunning supermodel want to carry on endless conversations with a poor shlep like you? Because you keep depositing coins in the slot. You get to live your fantasy of having some way out of your league far-away beauty pay attention to you, while just like in real life watching your bank account go down, down, down.
