Asked this company to diagnose an issue with the vehicle not starting. It was determined that it was a Distributor issue, would send someone out to fix in another week or so. Next mechanic shows up, unable to take Distributor apart to replace piece, has to replace whole Distributor, comes back out 2 days later. This time, has put the distributor in vehicle, but does not have a timing light to finish the job, and send an urgent message for someone to come out with a timing light. No one shows up, and I have to leave for work. Was told that they would come out the next day to finish it. The next day, received a phone call that the EARLIEST they can come out to finish the job is yet another week. Even though they already took out the money - and didn't finish the job. Anyone out there, trust me when I say, don't go to this company if you're seriously want your vehicle fixed in a reasonable amount of time, and actually keep their word and actually fix it. Before they take your money... just don't go here...

Web page is not user friendly, I booked an appointment and got my order in a specific time alloted... went back on web site to confirm and all info missing or wrong and indicates I still needed to book an appointed time and of course the time I originally chose was no longer available. Very unprofessional and I am attempting to cance, but can't get hold of customer service...

Unaceptable Service
August 31, 2021

We contact your mechanic to come out and do service on one of our vehicles, the mechanic claims our doors was locked and he had no way of accessing our vehicle. Except our Overhead doors are always open as we are a commercial company with docks. Apparently the mechanic didn't want to come back because he didn't feel comfortable doing the work since he "couldn't get ahold of anyone", he never even called the number on file he just came and left. Terrible customer service

Whatever you do, DO NOT use yourmechanic.com. (https://www.facebook.com/yourmech.) I won't go into details, but I paid them to check out some specifics on a car for a friend in another state, and they completely botched the job and didn't do anything I asked them. THEN charged me. After speaking with them, they told me to take a hike. STAY AWAY

Not a serious company

Having made an appointment with 3 days in advance... yourmechanic.com cancel the appointment within one hour to it. With excuses like at first in a text about the mechanic issue. Then i call and the parts been waiting and then they don't have another mechanic. Oh well good luck with this.the idea i guess is right but the organization we might have to give'em time.

They cancelled 3 times with the excuse of personal reasons
They keep asking us to reschedule and then by 9:30pm the day before the appointment they cancelled
This is going on for a week
I do not recommend this company

Very disapointed in this company's service (Killians Auto Service). I had to have the Driver side door handle replaced on my GMC Danali YukonXL truck. I called Killians up and asked for an estimate. They said bring it by Sunday and leave it and we will look at it on Monday and call you. Remember, its a broken door handle with no pieces missing. I received a call on Monday from Ks to tell me the broken door handle would be $651.14 to be repaired. Yes! You read that right- $651.14. I said you gotta be kidding me. That's outrageous. I will be over to pick the truck up ASAP. When I got there. They still charged me $65.00 to get the keys. I told them there is no way that a simple door repair cost 651$. The guys says we have to order the parts and the labor will take 3 hours. I told the guy he was crazy and they have a bad reputation for price gouging. I told him I had been quoted $152 from YourMechanic.com. I couldn't believe I still had to pay these ripoff artists money to get my keys back. Just very disapointed with the lack of courtesy and professionalism this company lacks. I guess they figure people will just pay their over inflated prices and not say anything about it.
I went with MyMechanic.com. The technician came out to my house on a Tuesday Morning and fixed the door handle in under the hour.
He also performed a 50 point inspection. I was given a quote for Brakes and an Oil change. It was very reasonable. (guarantee-it would be a lot cheaper than Ks quote for the job) I will be doing business with them again. I know one place that will never get my business- Killians. I feel like the manager owes me an apology for price gouging so bad. C'mon 651.14 compared to 152.00. Just SMH-DONT DO BUSINESS WITH KILLIANS

Basically agreed work was completed (not sure all 50 inspection points were really done) in a little over an hour(8/9/21). The problem arose when the windshield wipers were used (8/10/21); the passenger side wiper blade came off the arm. The mechanic was contacted and his reply was; "Those were the wipers that they gave him" with an attitude. I send 3 emails to the company and got no response on 8/10/21 and tried to call but only got static when the call was answered. 8/10/21 7:32AM ET, another email was sent that include two videos; showing incorrect blades. They will not honor warranty, said I voided it because I replaced the blades. So as to not void warranty, I was not to use the car? Read their warranty it is full of got you terms. Best advice, use another company.

Scam

They it want to do vehicle multi-point inspections. Paid to get an inspection done and then scheduled repairs totaling $1200 plus but on the day the work should have been done the sky was cloudy. Ruben, the mechanic, refused to do the work due to rain. When I called the company, they said the reason for refusal to work was out of stock parts. I complained and they said a supervisor would call me back. Surprise! No phone call at all. They never even bothered to check with me after weeks to see if I still needed the work done (which I did). Finally just took it to local shop, overpaid little, but it's working again

My car was unsafe to drive and needed a simple repair that I lacked the tools and parts to do myself. I set up an appointment, the took the $30 fee, and then I never heard from the mechanic. The appointment passed and I called the customer service to get a never-ending hold message. I left my info as the message requested, and called a few more times. Never heard anything back. I guess I'm out $30 but I've gained a lesson in searching more carefully for reviews. I'd recommend getting a tow to a shop. Good luck out there, and don't let others take advantage of your misfortune!

First of all, he pushed me back a day because it was raining. Problem was that it wasn't raining at my house. The mechanic replaced the MAP sensor on my vehicle. It was running rough before he started and after he was done, the truck wouldn't start at all. He suggested I have a complete diagnostic done but he didn't have the equipment to do that. He couldn't understand why it wouldn't start either but he was very anxious to leave.
When I called to complain, the person on the phone said she would send someone out to check his work and would call me back when she had it scheduled. No one ever called back. I had to have it towed to get it looked at again.
When I called again to talk to a supervisor and request a refund, the man I spoke with was very condescending and told me that according to the inspection report on my truck, there were "many other things wrong" with it. I looked at the inspection report and the pictures provided. Everything except the dashboard was rated either very good or excellent. There was two pictures of my rear bumper the is rusting out. I'm pretty sure the bumper has little or nothing to do with the starting of the truck. The gentleman on the phone wanted me to prove his mechanic did something wrong but did not want to send anyone out to check his work. I'm stuck now with not only paying them but also having to figure out what else is wrong now...
VERY DISSATISFIED!

MICHAEL THE MECHANIC IN JAX FL WAS SENT TO ME NEEDLESS TO SAY IT WAS A MESS! HE PUT ON MY BREAK BOOSTER AND BLLED MY BREAKS AND DID NOT HAVE BLOCK BEHIND TIRES AND SO HE GETS IN PUT CAR IN REVERSE NEXT THING I KNOW HE COMES FLYING BACK BREAK MY CAR DOOR MY CAR PORT AND SLAMMS INTO THE TILES UNDER THE CARPORT HE JUMPS OUT GRABS HIS HEART SAID HE NEEDED TO CHECK IT,,,,,,, NEXT THING I KNOW HE PACKS UP MY WIFE CALLS COMPANT FILES CLAIM NEXT DAY JENNIFER MGR CALLS SAYS OH THEY ARE NTO RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES HE CAUSED HOWEVER MY CAR SERVICE WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT COMPLETE YET I WAS CHARGED NO TECH CAME TO FOLLOW UP! I AM SEEKING ADVICE NOW BECAUSE I HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM THEM PLEASE SEE PICS!

I have used them several times and they always were very high on their parts prices. They give you the dealership price and then go to Autozone. Lately their estimates for hours needed seem to be padded. So keep your hand on your wallet.

Do not use... got a estimate for $530 mechanic Fernando got here with no parts said they would be in in Wednesday I waited 9 days for appt. He also double the labor cost saying it would be $730 and I have to wait another 3 days... un-acceptable. Called O'Reillys and got my parts within 4 hours... doing it myself. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

I had a scheduled appointment for 1st July which was cancelled as mechanic was unable to come. Had to reschedule and that mechanic also did not come Next appointment after 7 days. The company cancelled my appointment without any charge. Never go to this website.

Let me be clear that Patrick, my mechanic, was fine. He is not the reason this review is poor. The Your Mechanic company is the reason.

I called with an issue with my liftgate latch. Firstly, the online quote didn't work and they needed me to call in. Then after the call, they needed me to call in again with my VIN. Then I needed to spend an additional 15-min on the phone with a team member, because they got my quote wrong –– during which I SPECIFICALLY asked them to a) check they had the replacement parts in stock and b) bring the parts needed to completely change the latch mechanism if it needed to be replaced–– and their rep said that was no problem.

Today, on the day my car was supposed to be fixed, the mechanic arrived and DID NOT have the parts required to do the replacement (so he couldn't fix my issue). Then on-top of that he told me he would have to order them in, which would take additional time.

So now my issue isn't fixed, I had to pay a $100+ inspection fee, and I'll have to wait until they order the part and return if I want them to continue the repair.

My hope with this was that I would have a quick repair that would be cheaper and easier than bringing it the dealership. It absolutely has been the opposite of that. Maybe this service is good for some things, but I am extremely unimpressed with my experience so far.

Terrible Service

I'm a bit upset by the service of YourMechanic Services. We scheduled for one of the mechanics to come to our house to do an inspection and engine check. The mechanic went to a different address and tried to blame it on us but we had our receipt and email confirmation which both confirmed that our address was correct. The company did nothing to try to help us sooner. All they said is that the mechanic could not make it and we would have to reschedule a week later! That's terrible customer service.

They canceled initial appointment and postponed it and then sent the wrong parts and had to reorder. Then two weeks later after doing a partial repair incorrectly because their mechanic did not flush the power steering system which is standard practice for the repair the new power steering pump didn't work. Then after days of no return calls they said I didn't tell them to flush the system so it was my fault. That was based on the fact that there were metal shavings left in the system that they should have cleaned out. I paid over $1,100 for a repair and have not received an operating car since and they are refusing to correct their mistake. Nobody calls you back Nobody has any answers and the people you speak with have no knowledge of car repairs and are not capable of answering the most basic questions. They basically robbed me of $1,100 plus and I have a car that still needs the original repair done. Run from this company. Run fast.

This company is a total scam. I schedule d an appointment to get a high level scan to see what is wrong with my car. The "machanic" Pedro showed up opened the hood and turned tbe igintion key. Thats it. That is all. He said the battery was dead and he cant work on it. I had a fully charfed battery i offered to put in he refused. He didnt try to jump start he did nothing. Then he canceled my appointnent and charged me the fee. Total scam.

Don't book James on a Sunday. He was late and said the part didn't fit I had to drive back to the parts place they confirmed it to be the correct part. He even told me he didn't work on Sunday and I offered to reschedule he refused. The work never got done!
