6 months and not a single qualified call. When I try to cancel they tell me to give it another month, so I do. Still not a qualified call. Then when I try to cancel they tell me I have to give them another 30 days notice even though I already gave them the notice. So I ask to speak to a supervisor and I get this email response from Jason.

"That is your choice. I am the supervisor and the buck stops with me.

Jason Howell

Loyalty Manager "

Avoid these lying, cheating, people at all costs. Don't make the same mistake I did!

Rip off
July 13, 2012

Rip off. Signed a three month trial contract, paid almost $3,000, and cancelled, BUT Yodle charged my credit card anyway. Ridiculous. They will steal your money. Worst advertising decision I ever made.

Their latest scam seems to be preying on small businesses with existing Adwords accounts and making it sound like they are a division of google that works in "click fraud" and they will help you fix all the fraudulent click activity that you get from your competitors. When I asked if they are an actual subsidiary of google, they started back peddling and said they are a "PST" part of google and said that they are a "preferred partner" with google and that google actually works with them to get the latest "click fraud algorithms" from them (yodle). So I asked, google actually gets their own click fraud technology from yodle? "Well, I can't actually say that they use our technology, but we meet with them regularly to go over our stats". This smelled of BS on all levels. Stay away from these scammers!

The same verbatim as the reviews I have read. Lot of money. Little return.
Poor customer service. Only one thing to add, this service borders on scam.

The sales people are absolutely relentless. So I suppose that means they're good at their jobs. They promised us a large amount of growth in new business, and we were looking forward to it... until we started the process. They completely screw-up your current Google listings & make up a website for your business that does not represent your business at all. I wish we would've been able to cancel our contract in the first month. In fact, I told my account manager that we wanted out ASAP because we were SO dissatisfied. We got a lot of SPAM email and solicitation calls because of Yodle... In 3 months, we did not acquire 1 new client! These people only want your money--- STAY AWAY!

A telemarketing sales guy went over the product online, he was one of those top closer after I told I have tried similar services and it did not work for my services in my region, he could not take no for an answer. Finally after 30 minutes I asked him to send me his contact information and some of the presentation material for me to review before making a decision on a $2,000/month contract but he refused and said "the ONLY thing I can send you is contract for you to sign". That was when I hung up on him! Stay away big scam!

I just finished my 3 month contract with yodle. All I can say is stay away. I wish I could have canceled after the first month. Was a huge waste of money. They didn't get our business name right. Put up pages of services that we don't provide. We also never had so many solictitation calls.

My experience is pretty much the same as most people who have written reviews here. A Yodle rep contacted me and hounded me for weeks to get me to sign up. High pressure sales pitch that glossed over some very important details. They never tell you exactly what you will be charged for, i. E. phone calls from prospects, mark up on adwords clicks. I have had one paying customer from the Yodle leads. That covered my monthly cost with them, and I am hoping they can produce at least that much more over the next two months so that their sh*tty program will at least pay for itself.
Yodle doesn't make you sign a one year contract, thank God. But I am stuck with them for two more months. The day that period is up I will cancel their service.
I am an attorney and internet leads are a must for the type of law that I practice. I was actually doing better when I ran my own adwords campaigns. Yodle doesn't seem to be able to produce.
If you are a small business owner and are thinking of hiring a firm to run your adwords campaign, don't hire Yodle. If you break even, you will be lucky. If you don't break even, you could go broke paying their exorbitant fees. In fact, don't hire any company to do your campaign. Take the time to develop a list of keywords and some ad copy and just do it yourself.

Scam, scam, scam
March 15, 2012

Scam, scam, scam. They promise the moon but can't meet half of what they promise. They called me and tried to ask me to continue and the sales rep had no idea what kind of business I have. They go through sales reps and managers on a weekly basis. My initial "web optimizer" was so rude and abrasive that I had to ask for a new one to be assigned. Her name was Cassie Jones and she was the most unprofessional person I have worked with in years. WASTE OF MONEY!

I gave it 3 stars because I thankfully did not sign up with them so I really can't say whether it was a good idea or not. But given the reviews here, I am glad I didn't. What I will say, however, is that the salesman basically said that he wished he knew before he wasted his time talking to me. Give me a break - people talk to me all the time without hiring me. Cost of doing business, pal.

Yodle is the worst company ever contacted in my life.
They asked to be informed my bank account with contract for 3 months
It was my stupid decision for this deal.
They offered me special price for adver-site and upgrade
But it was a joke.
I could not have chance to discuss for web-site.
They set up pre-made sample web-site for my business and said don't worry
Yodle will take care of it.
But yodle they do miky mouse job and wrong information.
I will bring this company to the court for money back
Be careful this yodle sales person. They are not so good as company name

I agree, with several of the previous comments,
Yodle preempted all of the work that I had done on product placement and marketing... Sabatashing my branding... A year worth of work destroyed by thier clumbsy efforts.
Dushe bags, how I wish they had never darkened my doorstep...

I am an SEO expert
July 5, 2011

I am an SEO expert - Yodel claims that it builds websites that are SEO friendly for their clients. If you view the Yodel website using Firefox click ctrl + U or from Internet Explorer go to the View menu and click on source - now click ctrl+F and type h1. You will see that the Yodel corporate site itself has about 5 h1 declarations in the code - the most basic BASIC SEO rule is that you should have one, yes only ONE h1 declaration per page! This is basic, basic SEO and Yodel cannot even get it right on their own site! What do you think they will do for you, a small business owner, who probably is relying on Yodel to be the expert and to guide you in building your site and performing Search Engine Optimization. This company is a joke. You are better off going with a local consultant than with Yodel. Did you notice that there is not one example of an actual website they have built and optimized on their corporate site?

Yodle has generated more sales leads for my clinic than any other marketing tool I have previously tried, and it takes virtually zero effort on my part each month. After an initial discussion with my Yodle rep to determine the best marketing strategy for my clinic, I have been able to focus on other things while Yodle continues to analyze and readjust the online marketing for my clinic throughout each month. When I do have special events or offers coming up, I just shoot an email over to my rep, and they modify some of my online ads to reflect those events and offers. I recommend that other business owners try Yodle to effectively increase their online presence in the marketplace.

Prior to Yodle, we had been managing all online advertising campaigns in house. Yodle has helped us increase the efficiency of our online advertising by almost doubling our results without an increase in spend! On average up to a 1/3 of the leads we get from Yodle are becoming customers each month. With one lead, Yodle even generated a repeat client that spends several thousands of dollars a month on a consistent basis.
