Last Friday (Jan 12,24) my owned Motorola BitSurfr died. So I drove out to Williston Vermont's Xfinity store to get an Xfinity-provided modem. Upon arriving at my home, I spoke with no less than 20 Xfinity tech support people to activate the modem and kept getting passed off to other techs. (about 12 times) The ones who decided to try to activate the modem (gateway) couldn't activate the modem, even though it was visible on their network.
Something about an incorrect code exclusive of the MAC address. One tech told me that the modem wasn't paid for. LOL! I had one guy in Pittsburgh named Rich who was trying his best but ultimately failed. Even the tech support people rely on chat when talking to supervisors.

I'm returning the Xfinity modem today and will try a new BitSurfr. Failing that, I'll call their competitor,
Burlington Telecom. One thing is for sure, I can't do worse, seeing that Xfinity is lower than whale poop.
I can call a Bologna sandwich and get better customer service!
Wanna laugh? So Xfinity can't activate their modem but is trying to sell me a cellular plan while I'm on hold. I spent about 8 hours on the phone with these people with a problem they couldn't solve and they still dared to try to up-sell to me.
Man, these people suck. Middle finger sent to Xfinity.
Not internet 😒 this is happening every day I'm tired of this company. I don't recommend Xfinity!
Since the cable was installed we are having trouble daily. Have to troubleshoot and call for a technician and internet is always off. Service installed a week ago and bill is due in less than 3 weeks for 0 service and first technician broke 85" tv and denying the claim
Xfinity Assistant is an absolute customer service killer. Last night I tried for 1 hour with EX to get an agent on the live chat. It just went in a circle. I called customer service and was told I HAD to go through the link to get through to an agent. Same chat, same black hole. I finally told them to cancel my account and they put me through to connect to an agent. But that button didn't work.
My problem is that this is unfortunate. If you can somehow get to a live body, their agents are amazing. They will always work with you on the best deal. They are polite, you can understand them 10*. They have made them unreachable. Bad company policy.
I was on line for 45 minutes trying to get peacock at the end I was told you can not get channel put on your bill separate bill said I did not want to do that than was called stupid I have been customer since cox unveilible
Wait time is almost an hour.in store customer service is no better they suck A@@ all around. Can a live person help me 🙃

RUNNNN! Don't use this company for any services. They constantly take money out of your account after you paid already. They charge all kind of money. Customer service is the worst! Please avoid the headache.
It has now taken me about 8 hours and 1 week and I still can't get my internet. To move devices was a nightmare. Now I got it "moved" but I can't get internet. Just in order to move the service took hours talking with the worthless ai. This company completely hides. Seems like it doesn't have a single employee. Absolute garbage. It's wonderful you are saving money but all your customers are suffering. Hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. What a disgrace.
I've just had one problem after the other. They have been here over five times trying to fix the problem. To no avail. It's the worst when it rains. I would leave Xfinity but choose to stick with what I know, afraid to try anyone else.
They lie to you in order to rob you. Period. A year ago I received a txt message alerting me that 'Xfinity' was upgrading me 'at no cost', a year later they upped my billing $20 which auto closed my card account for fraud. When I called them out on it and moved my service to a different provider they charged me an early termination fee. I'd love to sue these thieves. ANY BODY BUT COMCAST.
Horrible company. Customer service is the worst part. The internet speed is always slow and not working they always have an issue in the area and they're working on it. Never work with this company they are horrible. The company need to be shut down.

When you are forced to download an app and use your phone to setup a router on a pc your ISP clearly has no idea what real people want. If u are a power user and want access to YOUR modem u cant even use a browser anymore. Forced to use a HORRIBLE app. Was offered a free upgrade on my modem promised me 5-10x better speeds. Well its no faster and now it disconnects constantly. Had my old one for 5 years never once even had to restart it. This new one not only broke all my router settings and port forwarding for servers refuses to function because comcast uses a horrible all in one piece of crap instead of a proper designated modem and router. Im a power user. Stop treating us like were some jacktards with macbooks
This has to be the worse intent and tv company. The started an outage this morning to replace cables but did not inform the customers about the outage. I work from home and had no service for over 10 hours. When you try to call, it is possible ro speak to an actual person. The service is always horrible and sometimes the internet will go out 2 or 3 times a day. I am in the Chattanooga area amd.do not.have access.to EPB as it is not in my area. If EPB would extend their service, they would have all the business from the xfinity users. We pay too much for the lack of service from xfinity. We should actually get reimbursed for the time we spend without service. Very very poor business.
Received a letter from Xfinity for $19.99 with a one year contract. The very fine print says there may be extra cost. Called Xfinity and extra cost starts with a $15.00 equipment charge per month because you can't use the $19.99 without it. So you probably looking a a final cost near $50.00. Another of their SCAMS.
Paid my 3 xfinity accounts and paid in full now they took me on colection. Please don't trust this company hope this company disappear by 2024.and that free phone they offer you I ended up paying over 2k will never recommend this company if you want to get rob get xfinity
This company should literally be shut down. Pathetic $#*! customer service. Been dealing with a final bill for 2 months. They keep billing me for returned equipment that I have a receipt for and have supplied 2 times already for these morons! Documented calls and printed out chats will be the basis for my emotional distress lawsuit. FU xfinity
I'm a senior citizen and have been trying to lower my costs by calling Xfinity and describing exactly what I need and they then put me on the most expensive options today I first did chat where I was transferred to with 5 different people and they all gave me different options so then I called and again told them exactly what I needed in the way of internet and tv service they transferred me once and finally I thought that I had a plan that covered all my needs then my internet wouldn't work so I called again I had by this time spent 3 hours chatting and on the phone and found out that sure I got a lower cost plan but it only gave me 1/2 of what I needed and I found out that I had been paying for much more internet than I needed but none of the people would explain it to me so I have figured out that in the last 10 years that I have over paid *******.00 dollars in excess internet that I didn't use,or need and when I asked them to give me some kind of refund they offered me $15 and they still wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor
Over all the worst experiences in my life my personal information such as my home address account balance and payment arrangements was released to a person not authorized on my account after she explains to him that he had violated my rights he continues do she request a supervisor and his information he refuses and disconnect call after debating I'll be filing charges for my rights being violated
