Horrible service. If the internet is out, it is all out. Do try to contact this company because all you get is a machine that only knows how to repeat itself. Don't bother unplugging and plugging back in. It never works and is never the problem. Always their problem and not a connection issue ever. So tired of dealing with this company. AT&T sucks. Paid an old bill and they continue to hounds me even though l show them, 5 times now, that it was paid with bank statement. Crooks, all of them.
Customer since 1990. Too many f ups to mention here. Overall they lied and had so many errors I've lost count and they then reduce the bill from $200 a month to $125 after pulling the television and substitute it with a sucky Streaming service. Ready to pull

While their internet might work most of the time, their DVR boxes crash ALL THE TIME and right in the middle of a movie I taped! ETF Xfinity?!?!
Issues with internet connection ALL THE TIME is slow when I supposed to have one of the fastest speed. It's ALWAYS off line. Always resetting router unplugging power cord to get internet again
Try just try to talk to a living human customer service person! The animated person is pretty much all you get
Talked to a person last month in the D. R. after waiting and figuring how to talk to a person, story, my bill went up from 70 to 95 I was on hold, well I HEARD them set the headset down AND conversation in the background after a LONG WHILE of waiting someone else came on and promised my bill will be fixed! It was that month which was Feb 2022 nor this month March. 2022

I also have cellular service with them and you get a discount only if you have both. Mobile service better than internet but you will pay
I've been forced to have Xfinity for over five years. They offer what seems like amazing services. You pay for these service. I mean you OVER pay for the services. My cable blacks out. Drops, freezes. Especially when there's a popular event on. It's terrible. My wife has had to work from home the last two years and she has problems daily with the WIFI. For the massive amount I pay monthly I am terribly dissatisfied. But it gets worse. Xfinity now has it set up so you take care of these problems yourself. Or at least try to. You're forced to talk with a remote agent that is basically a interactive recording that downplays your problem and offers to do a system restart so that it can all start over again ten minutes after they do the restart. Also did I mention that Xfinity had monopolized my service area and they're the only service available now? It's a scam. It's a rip off and there's nothing anyone can do about it but over pay for terrible service.
Internet hasn't been working for 2 days due to a neighborhood outage. When it finally gets fixed our modern mysteriously stops working. Call customer support, wait on hold for 30 minutes only to be disconnected. Of course they never call back. Still Currently not working
I talked to 4 different people in one night and minakishi was by far the most helpful! The other 3 disconnected because I did not want their cell service. I liked minakishi because I was not asked to buy anything or harassed yo buy anything at all was very helpful and got right to the point! Thank you for that because all the other folks working for this company come on to strong and worried about commission instead of wanting to help. Minakishi deserves a raise, maybe you could take away from some of the others that don't care about your company at all! I gave 3 stars because of the other 3 A-holes I delt with tonight but minakishi would have gotten 10 if I could!
I've had xfinity for just over 2 years. I have what's called the Blast pkg which is speeds up to 400 mbps for $89/mo. Since I've started the wifi service. I've never had much over 150mbps at best and has been recently getting as low as 89/113mbps. Tons of tech visits with no answers and me making complaint calls with no absolutely avail. No loyalty discounts offered and now the price has gone up to $114/mo. Most times I can't even watch TV or stream or play xbox with either a direct wired or wireless setup bc its just that poor quality. They overcharge, you never get what you pay for and always get the same excuses when you call them. If they say they're making a service ticket Watch your modem/router, bc they're actually resetting it remotely. My xbox is running 0 games and has an upload speed of 0.17mbps and a latency rate of 418ms with a network download speed thats so low it won't even give me a reading at all! Stay far far far away from this company if you can.
In my entire life I have never been so disgusted and so frustrated with a company that is supposed to provide service to consumers. I have been a customer for over 30 years. Is there any loyalty from them? Hell no! They are rude, disrespectful with no compassion or ethical standards. They lie and if you upset them they jack around with your bill. In a matter of a few years with no upgrades my bill has gone from $199.00 to $351.00. I called CS and was on the phone for over 3 hours trying to get someone, anyone to work with me and lower my bill. I am retired on a fixed income. After talking with 4 different people in 3 different departments they lowered my bill back down to $299.00. Next bill comes in it's $351.00. I call again. I am on the phone for 2 hours. I am assured that I will receive a credit for $52.00. Received my next bill today. $410.00. I can't stand talking to these people. It is a horror. They don't care. They just don't care. Worst customer service ever, anywhere. I can't wait to talk to some inept individual who can screw up my next billing. I have been on hold for over 45 minutes. It just doesn't end. I can't take it anymore. I know there are other options. So frustrating.
It's the worse customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. To be clear, not the internet, it's the phone.
I am in the process of moving house. Comcast said they were unable to install the device and we had to get someone else out who said Comcast were basically too lazy to do the job. We had to get them to come out again. After arranging for my son to be at the house, they didn't even show for the appointment. Trying to reschedule a new appointment has been a total nightmare. I cannot stress enough how much I hate dealing with Comcast, I would give anything to deal with someone other than them. They have no idea what Customer Service is and I will be only too glad to be rid of them when possible.

People in Philippines that know nothing about routers or IP addresses or how to even login to fix your issue. Then they promise to call you can with a
Higher level of tech support within an hour and never call you back.
I am beyond frustrated with xfinity. When you call it is almost impossible to speak to a human and when you do they spend so much time repeating what you have said and apologizing it takes SUCH a long time to get anywhere. I wanted to set up internet at my new address. I booked an appointment but wanted to get through to a human to ensure they went to the right address. When I called them they could not find my appointment. They told me I could have one 2 days later. I said this was not acceptable. She said she would put it in as an emergency. The technician went to my old address...
I cannot get through to a human. They will call me back in around 2 hours.

Calling Xfinity can be an absolute nightmare! I have pressed a lot of different options trying my best to get a live person to help me. In frustration, I end up yelling into the phone. And last night, I was on hold for 47 minutes.:(
And on a more minor point, I should not have to press anything to get English!
I experienced the absolute worst customer service of my life at the Xfinity Store in Spokane Valley.
Even Comcast used to have the best service today the employing offshore workers from China and India he doesn't know what you're doing you don't understand the language of them the Internet connection going down and trying to selling you more expressive Splaine I will not go with them even AT&T and Verizon also atrocious cheaters but Comcast are not honest
In the middle of a pandemic when my husband needs the internet to work from home as an Educational Specialist training teachers from our basement, and my children need internet to attend virtual school, Comcast just increased our monthly bill by $20/month! That's $240/year! We live in the country and don't have access to any other provider. My husband called to see if they would just extend our current contract or find a promo code to help with the cost. The end result was a $20/month increase and a 2 year contract. Then when my husband got the final email confirmation, the new rate was only good for 1 year and then increased again! Soooooo disappointed in such a big company that's clearly only concerned with their own bank account... not to mention our internet is constantly going out and glitching during virtual school and work!

I switched to Comcast as they offered Gigabit Speed in my area, But it's been all most a (Full Year)
And I still only get a bit over 300mbs! Aarrrgggg!
I at first was understanding, the pandemic had just started, but it does not take over 300 days to fix this problem, even in a pandemic! >>>They Just Don't want to fix it<<<
They keep doing the same thing testing my connection, then sending someone to check my hardware, then check outside only to report that the box at the road needs replaced, but then nothing!?!?!?!?
I have explained to them I have fully checked my hardware, I am a computer technician, I replaced all my cat5e cables, my modem is on their list its a DOCSIS 3.1 modem and can handle 10 gigabits,
My router is a Triband gigabit, with Multi-User MIMO, my switch is gigabit as well!
I have asked many times to talk to someone that can make executive decisions, but no luck!

Xfinity/Comcast TERRIBLE Install
Port St. Lucie, Florida; Xfinity/Comcast came out to change out the Xfinity/Comcast equipment in my disabled Mom's home and took advantage of her limited sight.
Item 1: The spare bedroom had a nice wire run along the wall and the old box mounted to the back of the TV. In comes Comcast and this is what they leave. See the box just hanging. Cord out in the trip area.
Item 2: In the main bedroom they had to go behind the dresser to get to a power strip, so guess where they left it. That's right on top of the dresser instead of back where they found it. Did they put the new box behind the TV, like the old one? Of course they didn't, now its next to the DVD player with hanging wires.
Item 3: In the living room they made a mess of the box area and for some reason chose to use two CD collection boxes to put the new box on. Then after having trouble setting up the remote, the Xfinity/Comcast Installer told my Mom she would have to use the old Xfinity/Comcast remote for on/off and sound and the new Xfinity/Comcast remote for changing channels. With her limited eyesight finding one remote is challenging enough. Wow, if only I had been there to toss this "expert" out of the house.
Item 4: When putting the Xfinity/Comcast modem in the other bedroom, the Xfinity/Comcast installer started to take my personal modem, luckily my Mom saw this and stopped him. Take a look, that's where the power cord for my modem was left.
I went to the Xfinity/Comcast store with pictures to express my concern to both a representative and then a manager only to be told "We are retail we schedule and send installers out, but are not responsible for the work, you have to call to get installation department." Three calls and 32 minutes later I was told by Xfinity/Comcast the best they could do was schedule a new installer to come out and fix things. I ensured it was scheduled for when I can be there to PROTECT my Mom from these people. They also said an Installer Supervisor would call me. I'm holding my breath.
Sad thing is, the cable is built into the HOA bill and Mom has no choice, but to pay for cable. I guess in a neighborhood where a lot of the homeowners are in their seventies, eighties, and nineties it's easy to do half a job and get away with it.
Could this be another reason everyone seems to be swapping to streaming, me included?
