As usual, it took 45 minutes to make my monthly payment. Within 2 hours of the restoration of Internet service, the service disappeared. After 1.5 hours on the phone with agents who were resetting and refreshing the modem, I gave up and asked the agent to REFUND my $45. He gave me a transaction number, and said that the funds would be in my account in 5-7 business days.
The next day, I got an email saying that the equipment was on its way. Then I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes telling agents that I requested a refund. Eventually, a Supervisor admitted that the agent processed a REPLACEMENT instead of a refund. This time, the funds would be in my account in 3-5 business days. She too gave me a transaction number. To my surprise, it actually came!
The modem came and I had to take it to UPS.
Keep searching until you find an alternative.
The wifi is so slow. A few minutes ago when I was texting someone complaining about my wifi, and it says "Not Delivered". I seriously cannot believe this company is still in business. Online they say the this company is the absolute BEST internet service provider, but that is absolutely the biggest lie I've seen in a while. If you're looking for a new ISP, I highly recommended to AVOID this one.
Signed up and did not receive internet for over a week, onsite technician showed up at 7AM like a week later. Spent 2+ hours on the phone with customer service and then they said I'd be credited/reimbursed for the inconvenience.They denied any knowledge of this after and refused to pay me, leaving me with another 2 hour call.

I had an appointment to connect the Internet to a new address. The technician came and did a $#*!ty job and put the router on the second floor and now is very hard to get a Wi-Fi signal on the first floor, during his time at the house, he stole my own equipment and when I called, I think the supervisor called me back and he was rude and disrespectful. I don't like this company anymore.

Worst customer service out of any phone wifi or cable service I have ever used. The automatic messaging system is more helpful than the live reps they have. Countless holds to figure out simple task. Go anywhere else.
Very bad service. I live in Smyrna Tennessee. I called the customer service many times and no response.
I have several bad experiences with xfinity, the first time I had there internet it was slow and pretty pricey then after my one yr contract my bill doubled so I paid it off and returned the equipment and confirmed over the phone and in store my balance was zero, yet 6mo later boom collections for owing them money, so of course I paid it, then I moved to a place where I had no choice but to get there services again and once again after a yr my bill doubled with no notice and I went in to talk to them because I saw a bundle deal if I got a phone through them just to find out I couldn't get it because I already had there internet which made no sense, but I decided to get Mobil there anyway, then finally a better faster fiber service was available for 20mo cheaper in my area with no contract so I switched just to find out after there raising my phone bill 25mo because I dropped there internet, none of this was explained, as soon as I can I will be canceling this as well I have never seen a company extort money from customers that pay on time everytime so bad in my life it's gross and should be illegal!
The people were nice and friendly but the execution was horrible. Took 7 people to tell me I needed new equipment plus HOURS today. If I could give a negative score they would get it.
The old comcast was far better than xfinity! The new system is Horrible, you can't connect with a live agent and the stupid automated system isn't set up to route you to a live person. I DON'T recommend xfinity for anything. There are several other high speed wifi services available that are much better.
Had Xfinty installed on June 2nd and have had nothing but problems, everyday services goes out and need to call.Good luck with calling, i was on hold waiting to speak to a manager for 35 mins then call was cut off! No one called me back they reset my service every time and then say they can have someone out within 3 days? Service isnt even 2 weeks old and it needs to be reboot daily? I will be switching back to Verizon once i can get them to come to my house!
Do NOT go to this company. Aside from the fact that they over charge, they also kKEPT deducting money out of my account after I had cancelled. Stay far far away! Worst providers I have ever dealt with.
My mom is switching to xfinity - she's 86 - and xfinity has called me multiple times, I'm assuming, to help out with her plan. They didn't leave a message and there is absolutely no way to call the Gurnee Illinois location - every phone number I have brings me to a recording where I can select to talk to a person, then I get a recording that the operator is not available. I've tried multiple phone numbers with the same results. They have an online chat thing where there is absolutely no way to talk to a real person. I'm going to regret my mom's decision to switch her carrier to xfinity.
Called 3 to 4 times while setting up my new house for internet to confirm if there was a line was told yes that everything was all set and no tech was needed, the day I moved in I found out they dropped a line but didn't put a connection in the house. Terrible company wish I didn't need them and could use spectrum.
I have been customer for 15 years always renewed each years after they do paper less and I'm still asking Paper is for me to track the bills,even I pay more $5 for paper,still never bills come to house.
Today I call for because no service in my house.
I renewed my account by calling on January 2023 my promotion end on march so is good but today they say renewal is NOT successful made. I need to paid the balance of $180 for month march,April and June.
My bills was $65.00 monthly since the promotion end is went up for $93.00 monthly so I have balance I have to paid for $190.00.I explain they agent and manager what is going on,they not helping at all.

From the agents to the supervisors, no one is on the same page. You would think that once you reach a supervisor you wouldn't be transferred for the 11th and I am not exaggerating yes the 11th time.
I received a past due bill notification in app before I even received equipment. One agent told me I would be able to receive my equipment within 24 hours, just let me transfer you to RUDE Karen who will refuse to honor what I said and then refuse to transfer me to a supervisor after I asked repeatedly. But just wait, at transfer #9 I reached an agent who did transfer me to a supervisor but the supervisor Ajay from billing can't assist me because she would need to transfer me to another department instead of realizing that would be my 11th transfer. I even suggested her reaching out to the department via chat or calling and she couldn't help me. I knew it was just a way to transfer the problem out of her hands without assisting me.
So as I don't have internet for a week until I receive equipment, I'll do my due diligence in warning people about xfinity and how new customers are treated.
These reviews are not a lie, they have worst customer service than Walmart. At least they honor what was stated. Xfinity will keep you in the run around. They only care about your money. Nothing else, the customer service is extremely poor and challenged.
Why can't I talk to a person? Most frustrating experience. Chat says my issue will be resolved within minutes. Day 2 second hour and still no help.
Unprofessional people campany try to scam me many times I had to stay on the phone more than 1-2 hours everyone tell me something diffrent that the other they say one thing and they do a differnt thing this company is scaming people with their bill and no one to talk to with a straight answer very sucks company.
Xfinity has old, slow equipment all over the place. When they replace it with newer, they charge you!
So, choose, bad equipment or pay for what they should replace anyway.
