I switched my account to unlimited a month ago because a enrolled in school,will be using more WiFi, and can't afford to be charged up to $100 more a month for going over GB. I was over charged $75 because there's "no documentation" of it being switched when I talked to a representative for over an hour about switching and confirming I was switching to unlimited. I'm now out $75 because of their failure to switch my account. Being a single mom, in school, and working over 40 hours a week I'm not impressed with their customer service at all.
This has gotten very bad trying to get hold of some one AI runs this company please don't wast your time trying to reach them I feel bad for the older jokes who can't use computer

If you want to speak to an actual human whose native language is English, you're completely out of luck with Xfinity. You can deal with their online robots and may be transferred to a "live agent," still a robot. Absolutely maddening. I suggest going to their site and the part that says "Say hi to Tom" or similar. Of course Tom will never see your email; rather you'll receive a return email from the bevy of women hired to answer complaints that Tom never wants to hear about. The only true way I found to get a human is to call from a phone line that is in no way associated with Xfinity, and say you're a new customer. Once you are a customer, you'll never be able to speak to a human there again. Thanks Tom!
Absolutely would not even give 1 star if possible. I paid my bill and Xfinity shut me off because their system had a glitch and they claimed they couldn't see my payment. 6 people and 3 and a half hours on the phone, not one person told me the same thing. I was hung up in, lied to, given the runaround, and all 6 people would not give me a supervisor. I have screenshots of the payment taken out of my bank, plus the confirmation number that they text me. From day one I've had nothing but problems with them. Disgusting customer service. Not one of their people are trained the same way, they all had different answers. I do not and will not ever recommend Xfinity. Unfortunately I have not only tv and internet but 5 cell phones through them. Guess it's time to go back to Metro and get a fire stick etc. unfortunately where I live, is only presided for Xfinity. So I'm guessing that's why they treat their customers like $#*!….
I've been a loyal customer for over 3 years, pay my bill early, I needed a new phone for one of the lines, they ran a credit check, fine, but denied my request for the new cell phone, which I would have to pay for in payments added to my bill. Asap I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Your company should be burnt to the ground! I couldn't find a live person to chat with anywhere, only a stupid robot that couldn't understand anything. You are dishonest by drawing people in with a plan and then raising the price shortly later. You are an insult to the word business.
My husbands information was used to create an account with Xfinity. No verification was done whatsoever to ensure it was him. We do not have Xfinity service in our state and the scammer is located in Georgia. We have provided all documentation to their Fraud Department and have not resolved the claim. They have now hung up on my husband twice while they've placed him on hold. The balance that is reflected on his credit report is over $2k and has made a significant hit on his credit. Reporting them to the BBB as this has gone on for over 3 weeks now.
In the beginning extend, he told me it would take two hours to squish my landline number hour to my cell phone now they're telling me it's gonna take seven days
Anyone can alter another persons account and help fixing it is impossible, my phone was stolen last month and this month I got charged over $500, do to a line being added to my account; when I called the representative tells me the charges are valid. I have an unlimited plan on my phone! Why would I add a pay by the gig extra line and use over 60 extra gigs on the additional line?
Contacted customer service three times to close out account, due to lack of service in my area,was assured they would send a bill to my new addre ss...all I have recieved is harrassing Emails demanding payment and a slow pmt remark on my credit report...
It's impossible to speak to a real life human. You call their 800 customer service number and you get a run around. Their app isn't any better, all you get is a bot. If there was another choice, I'd dump them in a heart beat.

Comcast / Xfinity is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I have a business account and there is nothing good to say - If I could give them 0 or negative stars - I would.
DO NOT open a business account with them - it is not worth it and customer service does not exist. If you want to deal with automated robots, this company is for you and I still rate them at 0 or less stars.
I have had the WORST experience with customer service. I have been on the phone with Xfinity at least every month since opening this account and have wasted so many hours dealing with automated systems, inability to process an autopayment (even after getting verbal confirmation), and technicians never available. Because of this, I have lost my second set of clients and my business is now getting downrated. I literally cannot reach anyone AND they told me I reached my daily limit of attempts to pay my bill. I am so done with Comcast, have been a customer with my family for over 30 years. Your business should be flushed down the worst toilet on the other side of the universe, because apparently that's where all your technicians are. NEVER AGAIN.
If you want to talk to an agent you have to go through their troubleshooting app first. I don't want to troubleshoot. I have questions that an automated machine can't answer as they are about dual bandwidth and my lights and security system no longer functioning do to a change that they made. However the automated answering system and chat system will not give you the option to chat with an agent directly. I just wasted 10 minutes of my time saying the same five things to 2 different automated systems. It's ridiculous that you cannot bypass the system and talk to an agent directly. This is horrible customer service.
I been trying to get Wi-Fi for the past month and been canceled 4 time any this is the 5 time trying to get it today July 12 there where going to come and I called the same day I got service on Monday July 10 and someone told me I had to pay $110 and I was going to get it as a credit and then I calle agin spoke to some one els ant told me I didn't have to pay anything and who ever I spoke with was wrong and I was go to go and called today july 12 the day of my appointment and I cheated with someone and today someone is going to come confirm that today I was going to get services and I had to prove something what you did and allow me to spoke with another person through the chat. Sharon told me he was gonna take one to two minutes never got back to me. I guess she didn't know what she was doing and then spoke with the live agent on the phone told me my services were canceled wild a live agent on the chat told me that my services were good to go and again called for the fifth time somebody else for the fifth time somebody's going to come and I'm going to get service and I have to wait again more days to get this $#*! done and we'll see if they don't cancel no one has offered me any special offered hard to get this fee waived that they're charging me 100 and somewhat I'm a very unhappy customer and will see if July 20 will be the day I get services if it was AT&T $#*! they know what they're doing. Xfinity needs to trained. Their employees because this is BS. Can get a different response from different agents and one tells me yes Juan tells me know one tells me, my service is canceled. Another one tells me I'm good to go. I'm just very unsatisfied with the service and I haven't even gotten Wi-Fi. I didn't know it was this hard.
I went down to xfinity in ms trying to get this bill problem fixed. I paid off my phones that they told.me would be free. That was a lie, my bill was suppose to go from 108 to $60.00. It didn't it stayed at $108 even after I paid off the phones that they told me would be free. Their customer service is a joke. They still haven't credited me back to my credit card
So now I am going to have to take the time to get this fixed again with xfinity. U can hardly understand what they r saying with their customer service. They will lie to you just to get their way and charge u more for the service. We have had 2 times where the service went out on our phones and their lines r suppose to be under Verizon towers. The service on the phone internet goes slow later in the month. It's suppose to be unlimited. I don't believe it is. The phone lines are suppose to be $30 each a month. My bill has never been $30 a month. One lady came in and she is renting her wifi router from them. Dont ever rent from Xfinity a wifi router. It was her fifth time to bring it back. She said she will be dropping them.and going elsewhere. I filed a claim on my Motorola phone and they didn't have my phone anymore. They gave me a cheap Samsung a14 I think is the model. Another way of xfinity screwing the customer over. The screen isn't even the size of my my Motorola phone. This Samsung is.a cheap model. All I can say is u have been warned.and tell ur friends how crappy xfinity is. Look at reviews on the internet. You will have to look also cause when I went to the reviews. It showed 3 stars at first. That's another lie. This website has like 1.5 or 1.8 ratings. Don't waste ur money with them and u will have a lot of headaches because of their ignorance. Then u r going to have a lot if billing problems with xfinity and they will overcharge you. They will tell u they will refund you and the r lying to you in ur face. I am having to call about that now. It is more of a.problem and inconvenience dealing with xfinity and u aren't saving any money having their service. After a year. They will try to raise ur bill also. That's when I drop them.xfinity. Their service.sucks.and they r dumb as a big of rocks. Please, donur reviews on xfinity phone service. They r crap. Run away as fast as you can!
This is by far the worse internet company I have every had! First the book me on payment plans without me agreeing to them lol then I keep getting notifications that they are cancelled then set up again for 2 days! I try telling the people I didn't set up a payment plan to begin with. Then you obviously got people who don't understand English or don't know wtf is going on because why is your not a solution to the problem just telling me what I already know! I can not WAIT to switch out of this damn company. Oh and I'm paying $100 just for internet when I signed up it was $60 LMAO this company is a joke & have jokers working for them too.
Xfinity mobile continued to bill my deactivated debt card after my account was closed and paid in full. They over charged me regularly and never provided the overage credit promised to correct their errors. NEVER NEVER USE XFINITY MOBILE. THEY WILL ROB YOU EVERY CHANCE THEY GET.
We recently signed up for internet and cable with xfinity, I explained that I am on a fixed budget and only want/ need internet, it was then explained to me that if I went with the package I was being offered I could have the internet of my choice plus cable with discounts and packages leaving me with a bill of $108 after I go into my account and sign up for paperless billing and auto pay. I payed my first months bill of $119 with more discount to come with paperless billing annd anuto pay and when my second bill showed up it was $145! After sitting on the phone with customer service for 30 minutes all they could do was talk circles stating they were sorry for the miss information and there was no package they could offer me at that price without less services. Headed to spectrum for my internet and cable!
I was encouraged to get a "free phone" from a Xfinity representative via CHAT. I was told "several times" the phone would "be free" and THEY WOULD "ASSIGN A NEW PHONE NUMBER" FOR ME. When i recieved the phone and called for activation I was then told the phone "would not" be free because I WAS NOT PORTING OVER A NUMBER. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN THEY ARE SELLING PRODUCTS AND DON'T HONOR WHAT WE THE CONSUMERS WERE ORIGINALLY TOLD. THANK U FOR READING THIS
