Buyer Beware - XenonPro is a scam
I received a defective HID kit - neither headlight would turn on.
Xenon Pro has an 800 customer service phone number. The customer is prompted to leave a message with a promise of a return call within an hour. I left message on 8 consecutive days and did not receive a return call.
The instructions that came with the kit are nonsense. They were written in a foreign language and poorly translated to English to the point of being useless.
They did respond to email and sent me a supplemental instruction kit advising to reverse the polarity. Reluctantly, I hooked up the red lead from the kit to the black lead on my wiring harness and the black lead from the kit to the red lead on my wiring harness and 1 of 2 headlights turned on.
I emailed Xenon pro and asked for return instructions with a request for refund. They sent me an RMA number with instructions to return the kit via FEDEX Ground only, freight prepaid (at the customer expense) and a shipping address destined to Canada. They also charge a 20% restocking fee - even on defective merchandise.
I received a shipping quote from FEDEX to return the package from GA to Canada. The quote was $34. Add the $24 restocking fee and I was out $58 to return a defective product ($120 purchase price).
Xenon Pro is a scam.
