Let me tell you of my experience.
Thursday Transfer $71,000 AUD via OSKO.
Received notice they received my funds.
They email me on Friday to ask for a bank statement to support the transaction.
Supplied that... when the dollar dropped, they cancelled the transaction stating a business purcahse cannot come from a personal account. Even though I sent the screenshots of the business account.
Needed to wait until Tuesday as they only work Mon to Fri US EST... pathetic

Still no transfer... in the meantime I'm paying storage and extra shipping.
Late Tuesday (after all my complaints... and the dollar dropping) they cancelled!
Waste of 6 days!

I opened an account so I could send money to my girlfriend who just moved to Canada. I filled out all the proper information her bank gave her. Transit number, account number, institution number, etc.

When I clicked the button to send I get a message saying "Oops, sorry something went wrong." Next thing I know, they've closed the account I just opened and won't tell me why? Never told me what went wrong either!

Bunch of morons.

Dear readers,

This company is among the worst that have ever existed. I beg anyone who could fall into my post to flee from it. I used this company for multiple transfers and gave them the benefit of the doubt to see if they could improve, but to no avail. They ultimately ruined my mental health. They subject you to psychological torture despite the fact that you have barely earned any money. They have inexplicable delays and poor customer service that sarcastically repeats "I'm sorry" but does nothing. For the respect of human dignity that we all deserve, this business must cease to exist. Never ever put your trust in them. They are evil, greedy, and disdainful. Let me illustrate one of my experiences. I performed a simulation to transfer over $4000. They called me immediately and asked if there was a problem when they heard that I wanted to make such a transfer. This instilled confidence in me, and I proceeded with the transfer. I was in a dire situation. They delayed my transfer for five days under the pretext of verification, despite the fact that my records and the origin and destination of the funds are spotless. Due to the delay, I was compelled to cancel a transaction that was expected to be completed within one to four business days. I have been waiting for the refund to reach my account for over a week. There is no money back until today. I am left with frustration, psychological anguish, and, most importantly, the feeling of having been raped by evil and greedy people. Please, my dear people, I do not wish for you to endure the same difficulty: flee this company. They are present to harm, not aid, our health.

Worst company eve' don't use it! I asked for cancellation cost, they cancelled straightaway and I have to lose 1000 AUD for cancelling fee! After I post a negative review, the the customer care contacted me avoiding the mistake they made, stating that there is a legal contract bonded with booking foreign exchange. Be mindful, All the legal document, PSD is not in the app, including hidden cancellation cost! I asked what the customer service could make up for the mistake they made, they claimed that they could transfer the fund with 600 AUD than actual cost, I was happy with the solution until I asked how much the receiver will receive, they said recipient receives 500 USD less. So there is no compensation at all. If you would like to be treated as an idiot, please do go ahead with XE!

BEWARE OF XE
November 3, 2022

Beware of XE... be Wise and avoid XE like dog excrement... be Wise you'll get a much better rate elsewhere. I joined XE and my first transfer went smoothly, however they failed to process my second £20,000 transfer, so four days after the transfer, I contacted the helpline and had the misfortune of dealing with an apparently inept staff member who was unable to access the relevant information. After he wasted my time for a few minutes I asked him to email me regarding the issue he was having. A few hours went by and I received no email from them, so I emailed the help desk and I also used live chat to requested an immediate full refund of my £20,000 to the original GBP account I made the initial transfer from, as it had become apparent they could not be trusted to handle my money in a prompt, professional and trustworthy manner. Jordan on live chat refused to provide his full name but said the transfer had been actioned. However, when I checked my account there was no refund. I applied pressure throughout the day including a threat to report them to the governing body, but this had no effect. Sadly, its taken 14 emails, 4 Live Chats, 1 Telephone Call, 1 Complaints to their bank, 1 Complaint to the financial ombudsman, and multiple threats of High Court Action in order to receive a refund and this has used up approx. 16 hours of my valuable time dealing with several individuals especially Reena Johal who stooped so low as to ask me 'where my nearest hospital is' in an email it sent, maybe more suited to a shoplifting roll than handling other people's money. Finally XE refused to compensate me for wasted time. Due to my experiences with them I would consider them an absolute disgrace to the money transfer markets and not a company I would trust with even the smallest amount of money... be Wise and avoid XE like a pool of vomit... be Wise you'll get better rate elsewhere.

Seriously garbage service. Customer service seems ok but they just talk you down to get you off the phone and don't do anything to solve the problem. I was trying to send 300k USD to BRL but they were never able to complete the transaction after about 3 months of trying. I tried this service because the rate seemed good and they promised it would be faster than the bank. I went to Wells Fargo after this horrible experience and got my money where it needed to be within 7 business days.

I had a very poor experience with xe.com sending money to philippines. My account has been inactive for a couple of years. When i came back yesterday i got a pop up message that said 'oops, something went wrong. Please try again.' and then the same pop up after several tries. I logged off, came back later, and the new message was 'sorry, your account has been closed.' i wrote to customer service for an explanation, and this was the reply:

"Janica (Xe)

Dear ####,

Thank you for using Xe.
Unfortunately, we're unable to assist you further and your account, XEMT*******915 will remain closed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause... "

Now wasn't that was helpful?... Not!.

More to the story, my wife signed up with them for the first time tonight and had an identical experience.

Their advertised high exchange rates and low fees are a fraud. I suspect they are just fishing for personal information.

Stay far away from these guys and stick with a reputable company

It is a Scam.
October 22, 2022

They collect your ID, SSN and other details and will not let you open an account to transfer money. Why collect all the details when they refuse to give a reason or talk to you regarding it. Their message is "Unfortunately, we're unable to continue to offer you our international payments service and have closed your account. We will not be able to provide any further information as to the reason why."
I have been using various transfer apps and services for 15 years, never had this experience. I wonder what criminal activity they will do with my data now.

Was fine for first transfer...
October 10, 2022

The second transfer was a nightmare and the third transfer they shut down my account. I believe they shut down my account because I complained about my second transfer.

This is the reason they gave me for shutting down my account...

We're committed to keeping you and your money safe, as well as complying with our regulatory and legal requirements.

Really?!? First payment was $45, as well as the second payment. Money laundering $45 at a time? Time to get real. Don't waste your time with xe.com.

Sad excuses
October 10, 2022

Find another way to move your money. This isn't an international organisation as they pose being. It's small potatoes, sad to say. I thought they'd be really great for moving my money between the US and U. K., forget it. Better to use an ATM and give people cash, or get my own cash a go physically put it in the bank the old fashioned way!

Xe promote quick and efficient money transfer. But do not transfer money within their promised service standards. They have an inept call centre who say they will follow-up or forward your issue or say they don't have a supervisor for escaluation. So, expect 1 star service and performance.

Bad bad bad run for your life!
I used to send money with XE, no big amounts and everything went smooth.
By the time I decided to send a big amount for my housing project, There was suddenly a technical issue. In the XE app it says money is in the recipient account but it was not there. And you'll have to wait days and days to contact them back again. Probably because the rate was not that favorable for them so they just decided to keep the money and wait until the curreny goes up and refund me by stating a "technical issue"
When you call, they never have an answer, they always have to reach out to an other departement, by writing. When you ask about time when this or that will be done? No one knows. They'll just say: the other departement / business partener (which is RIA btw) did not give us any processing time. Never ever business with them

I recently did a money transfer from NZ to KSA, and had problems initially with the address proof, one after the other. Once it was sorted, got money transfered, took more than a week and found 35R less than what i should be getting. When emailed the team, i got a nice response back

HI Nishan,

Your payment was sent via international wire transfer, and payments sent using this are subject to intermediary fee. The intermediary fees vary from bank to bank and unfortunately it is
Beyond our control.

Kind regards,

Very poor service
September 3, 2022

I tried to send money to my husband who is building a house in our country in west Africa with difficulty. They blocked the money for almost 2 weeks. They get easily suspicious thinking I'm laundry money.
They ask a lot of questions which is fine but when I've answered them and show proof of all of my accounts, they decided suddenly to close my account without providing any reason.
Impossible to talk to one of the supervisors.
Very frustrating and disappointing experience.

The site asked for my additional credentials to 'Verify' my linked account. The requested information was sent including copies of passport and bank accounts. After four phone calls over three days, the customer service finally declared the account verified.
Received the email: "ACH Direct Debit Bank Account Verified"
Nonetheless, just five minutes later an email followed: "Your Xe account has been closed. We will not be able to provide any further information as to the reason why.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
Complete waste of time. I suspect even if they are legitimate or a front to collect personal information.

I have used this company twice and had issues on both occasions as the transfer didn't go through. I gave them one more chance after a break of about six months to discover that they had closed my account. O contacted them and the account was reopened on Monday. I tried to make a transfer on Wednesday and found that the account had been closed again! When I contacted them they could give me no reason as to why. These people are very difficult to deal with, I will not be using them again!
