Do not trust this vendor! Books are described as in very good or excellent conditions and delivered kind of shattered. They offer replacements but not refunds, plus they entrust a super scam shipping company which most of times loses parcels.
I ordered books from World of Books Aus yesterday but when I saw the shipping address was to Andorra and not to Australia. I filled in their customer contact form immediately, explaining the error. I also replied to their confirming email, immediately. The next day, I received an reply saying that the books had been sent "within twent-four hours" and I would receive a refund only if they were returned as undelivered. BAD. BAD. BAD. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
World of books used to be a good company to deal with but lately they have gone down hill. Not so long ago they charged a fair prices for a second hand book but recently they have doubled their prices and now, generally you can buy new from Amazon at less that you can buy second hand from World of Books. As to the descriptions of the condition of the books they sell, they are either false or the books they send out are not the ones in the description!. The last book I purchased from World of Books, which was described as good, looked like it had been kicked around a school playground for a week or two before being packaged and sent out! I will NOT be buying anything more from this company!
Easy to buy from and the book arrived promptly with. Decent quality second hand book at a better price than any other site I could find. It was a pleasure to buy from and look forward to purchasing again.

1. It has been over a month.
2. They say they shipped an order - but no tracking number. I never received that order. My account was charged though. I emailed and a pleasant reply came back saying they're working on things. Wait a few days etc and email them back. I did. They said they would refill the order.
3. I now have two items out of 6 so far and no indication of partial shipping or when the rest of the order is to be finished.
4. This is absolutely nonsensical. If you want drama, order from these people. If you want to marvel at stupidity, step right up and place an order.
5. All items were in stock according to the website when the initial order was placed.
This online store and business is a pure awful mess.
Recieved broken, damaged products listed as very good condition. No response from them so had to dispute the transaction with my bank.
Bought multiple DVDs which were listed as "very good condition". They were in reality dirty, scratched & damaged & they don't even refurbish them.

I have bought several books off these sellers on eBay and would rank them one of the top 3 worst sellers I have ever had to deal with. They sell junk books which never match their listings with the hope that a percentage of their buyers won't return the books. It is a scam... plain and simple.
NEVER AGAIN!
Ordered a Book on Sunday, imidiatly texted them, that it was the wrong Book and that they please chancell it. They told me they already sent it out ON A SUNDAY! AND I got the mail that my order was shipped on wednesday! They told me to send it back to them so they can send me back my money. NEVER HAPPEND! Never got anything back. It's now more than three months! Ugly Company!
I bought a used book from WorldOfBooks via AbeBooks and it's been a nightmare. After 22 days the book has not arrived. They can't provide a tracking number or any evidence that it was even shipped. Their only reply is "just give it another 72 hours" and let us know how we can be of service to you. DO NOT buy from WorldOfBooks!
I ordered one used book from Amazon. I didn't notice who the seller was. My book was listed as "very good" condition. It arrived fast in an envelope from World of Books. It's in like new condition. I'm delighted!

Warning about this company Do not buy from this company!
They are refusing to send my order because the book (Caroline flack storm in a c cup) which I bought for £2.99 is now selling for a lot more. Absolutely disgusting behaviour!
Now will not honour my purchase.

I ordered a book from them. It has not arrived. It has no tracking number. I cant get customer service to respond with a. Good answer. Their one email back was not a good response.
I will never order from them again.
13 days still awaiting paid order. All email contact was deleted off my computer. I had printed copy of the order Only contact available was auto chat who wanted me to pay for advice!
This company dose not send the books you think you have ordered. They send cheaper editions in poor condition if you get them despite there grading they do not respond to email don't have a phone number and certainly dont refund I cancelled an order 10 minutes after purchasing after mistakenly realized I already had it. They still sent the book never replied to email and the book which cost $130 was ex library in poor condition the even had the hide to respond to part of one email and not mention the refund. To top it off they asked for a review which I gladly expressed my dissatisfaction. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SERIOUSLY LOOKED AT AS AS THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF BLATANTLY. DISGRACEFUL.
Sold me a book that was not as described, and refused to pay for return postage when I asked to return it.
Item description stated that the book was "not marred by notes", but it did have some writing in it. I wanted to return due to this with the intention of getting another copy. They refused to pay return postage even though they were the ones at fault.
As I bought it from them through Amazon's Marketplace, I am currently in the process of trying to get Amazon to step in.
I'm sure they are great if all goes right, but it is how they deal with things when they go wrong that really defines a company, and on that basis this company has completely failed. I certainly won't be using them again.
Advertised a book as being in Very Good condition. Pages were literally falling out of it - not attached to the spine at all and the cover was beaten up and somewhat folded, so even if they hadn't noticed the loose paged it shouldn't have been listed as Very Good.
I contacted them about it, and they said they'd give me a refund if I shipped it back, despite me giving them a picture of the pages separated from the book. Why do they need the book back? Presumably to try to scam another customer with it.
Finally, they agreed to refund me 25%, which I accepted to avoid the PITA of returning the book and to avoid them using it to scam yet someone else, which they clearly intended to do else why would they want an unsaleable book back?
Further, they told me "Please remove the return request, so we may refund you correctly" which is the height of scamming. No, I won't abandon the only protections I have prior to getting the refund.
Avoid this company. They lie in their product descriptions, send you worthless junk, and have abyssmal customer service.
