Used books got their own "deterioration" labels which seems just fine
It got an inmense catalog, fees are cheap if u renounce trackin stuff, it makes top3 on euro used books databases
Its a non profit organization addin more value to their good job

This site WOB has an extensive range of titles by more obscure authors such as Scottish novels or Historical ones I use the USED section and all the books I've so far bought have been AS New! I'm. V v impressed with the quality + conditions Free UK delivery and very fast also WOB is Highly recommended

The books are so old. Payed over £500 for premium standard books. I thought I was buying books by latest 250 top authors. And ex works books as advertised. But no, I got 600kg of mills and boons, free map brochures, books over 40 years old. All the books had ex labels from charity shops where they did not sell in charity shop and WOB brought by weight from them. They are not as advertised. These are terrible and now I have to pay for them to be taken to the tip. Don't go there. I would download photos I took of disgraceful old smelly yellow books but they won't download. Anyone wants proof of crap just ask and I shall send photos

The second hand manual was delivered promptly and exactly in the condition described. Good value too!

The turn around time is great and the books 3 our of 4 were all in great condition but due to poor packaging for the quantity and weight of them it broke open and one of the books got wet and all the pages stuck together on the bottom which was a real disappointment.

I love books- new or well-read- and my recent discovery of WOB means that I can get interesting books that I could not usually afford at a great price. Delivery is really quick, too! I'm hooked!:-)

This is a story that is filled with emotion. It is heartfelt, heartbreaking, compassionate and beautiful. Amanda Brooke is a very talented Author. This is the second title of hers that I have read. You really get to know the characters and absorbed in the storyline. Have purchased another of her books. I have discovered a variety of authors that I would never of known of if it wasn't for WOB. X

I read a lot of middle east history so I often find the books I would like to buy difficult to get hold of. WOB have found me several books I wanted that makes me a happy bunny & keeps me coming back to WOB for I can be reasonably sure to be able to know that they can provide what I need.
The problem is that obscure biographies of semi mythical characters are very expensive and truly hard to find but somehow you have never let me down.
I am not very good at photographing books & transferring pictures to letters on the computer & also I have not kept proof of purchase sorry.
I am an 84 year old woman so I have time to pursue my fact finding hobby of history thanks to your vast amount of titles for which I am profoundly grateful

I find that this place is a great place to find older books and cds. Shipping is not too bad, considering I live in Hawaii.
