Your website has not brought me any real humans I have literally had maybe 100 entries ALL SPAM.
Not only that I can't get into contact with a human being to discuss the issue. So I'm paying to have my data sold to spam companies and that's it I have perceived no other Service from this website and I do not recommend it to anyone trying to start their business. Free email you see in this image provided are spam emails and this is just 1 day. Every day I wake up to new spam emails from wicks I'm not sure what I'm paying for.
Already it's really hard to make a clean website, it's not useful. I had an issue with my website, some of my pictures are not showing up anymore and this is an issue on their side because everyday it's chang a and it's different pictures! Even one day I went back to work in it and it was saying empty gallery! They asked me to replace my photos, but what is the point if the problem is on their end? I asked them to fix it and I have no more news! So rude! I asked for a refund and they said no! I will ever use their services again! I'm going with square space! The worst is that I've been sending our emails, giving my contact information and I'm looking really unprofessional because of them!
Wix did an "auto renew" charging me many times more than last year with no prior notice. I have opened a complaint on PayPal but they refuse to rule in my favor. Wix cancelled my website but has not refunded my money. Very poor customer service. I would never recommend them.

After the user spends days creating and editing a presentation, podcast, video, website, etc, with audio, personal narration, or a music soundtrack - Wix will withhold the audio, until you upgrade and bombard you with screens to upgrade - just like a cable TV service. There is no "free" version if you cannot save or listen to the very content YOU have created. You will have no control over what you can do with your content, if you didnt pay. They want you to save to their cloud - more ongoing monthly/yearly fees. There is no customer service to talk with NOW - how about when it goes out of business? You will have no access. Wix can sell your brand, logo, and ideas... No thanks.
Their ap does not work. I tried for four days, eight hours a day and I could not get it to work. No itegrity.
I waited for an hour to get a call back from them and when I finally got one the call was silent and disconnected, not the first time it happens I do not understand how so many people like WIX even trying to reach out to someone to call you is a struggle needless to say they charge like if they where the best in customer service. I feel next to HOCOOS.com they are the worst and so expensive.

It is SO expensive! I wanted to sell my jewelry online, but I have to pay $192 a year to sell, and that's their BEST deal! Their worst is over $500 a MONTH! I do not recomened this to you, or to anyone.
When you connect your custom domain (or subdomain) to Wix, their system automatically prefixes this with 'www' so mydomain.com becomes www.mydomain.com and bookings.mydomain.com becomes www.bookings.mydomain.com. This is completely unnecessary and archaic, but according to Wix it is 'impossible' to remove www because it is part of a websites' 'address structure' (whatever that means - it's certainly not a recognised technical term). The fact is that this is a historical f*#@up that they can't be bothered to address.
So, if you don't want to have www.in front of your website domain, Wix is not an option for you
I paid for my photography site. Wix charged my bank account, as for my site there is no site published on the internet. I contacted wix on their site requesting a call back, no call back. Emailed their customer service no response. My bank is doing an investigation on the company.
This is very unprofessional on wix behalf. I am a very dissatisfied customer. Wix should correct these issues in a professional manner. So far they are showing that they are very unprofessional company.
First you have to pay for getting a website on Wix before you can look at how it works. I bought a website and domain name, based on reviews, and then tried to build the website. It is very complicated and despite having online tutorials it is not user friendly if you are not used to building websites. They do have live person support and the woman I worked with was very nice and helpful, but even she admitted that the WIX is difficult to use. And the website that we spend about an hour starting together was no where to be found, despite saving it, when I logged back in later to work on it. One thing I really hate about Wix is when you log in it takes you back to the pages asking you to pay for a website and a pay for domain name. Navigating to the website you have already started is like finding a needle in a haystack. I have had to start over 3 times as the save function does not seem to work well and/or finding your already paid for and started website is exasperatingly difficult. They promote their website builder as being user friendly, but then suggest that you hire someone to build it for you and they have outside designers listed that charge at least double what you already paid to Wix. I honestly don't know how Wix has gotten so many good reviews as it is awful and a waste of money that could be better spent elsewhere.
I have this account for years and I never could figure out if one day I can have a website with no issue. The editor is disaster and no one will be responsive. It's such a shame to have a customer visit my website. It's totally missed up without any reason. I am so tired to get back to this again and they charge me $500 for an add I never requested.
I decided on wix more than a year ago and have nothing but one headache after another. The customer service is garbage. It mostly has to do with how to set up customer payments and the lack of customer service and honestly they do not seem to care if I get paid for my product or not. Getting a hold of them is next to impossible. One second there is no problem but on the next payment from a customer all of the sudden they can't receive payment on my behalf sometime after I have mailed out the product. Do not use this product and they raise the prices as soon as you contract with them.
Don't be fooled. It's a constant grab for your credit card. They are horrible. After you pay 1000's which they claim is 199.99.
Well you can't do $#*! for 200 bucks. Use the Editor-charge! Make your own coupon to post another 300 a year. It's literally making it impossible to market.
I wish someone would have been honest. It's 5 grand and even then we can mix $#*! up and make you pay for other things. I'm in debt, made 0 sales and cannot banner advertise across my own website without paying more. Now, I'm also frustrated. Use Shopify.
Terrible customer service because it's almost impossible to get through, and once you do, they act politely as if helping you but do nothing to help and tell you someone will get in touch later. I've tried to cancel my subscription and received an error message. Then was charged double the amount I had signed up for. Then I call to get a refund, they walk me through how to cancel the subscription and later tell me they don't approve the refund. So in the end I don't have the subscription for the whole year or the refund. They won't even give a prorated refund - $264 gone!
I've had a website with them for 4-5 years now. Have been paying the premium price all this time. This year when my business has downsized a bit, I didn't have a reason to pay for ALL the features of a premium site so I downgraded to a free site. I still had my paid-through-2025 domain though that I paid for separately. So Wix started demanding I upgrade my site back to premium and using my domain as a hostage. They use policies as their excuse for why the domain cannot be used with a free site (even though you already paid for it) and why they won't refund you for the domain either (it's been past 14 days apparently and PER THEIR POLICY no longer refundable; my premium site and domain subscriptions renewed at different times). They're scammers who have created their policies to hide behind. Go with someone else.
Its been a day 10 of my frozen payout with wix. Provided all necessary docs, all of the invoices etc. Still checking something. Found "suspicious activity on my website". My website sells tables, and the activity was, guess what, someone bought a table. Very frustrating.
Been with Wix for approx. 5 years. Even though their live support was good, reaching support was more difficult than scheduling a meeting with the President of the United States of America. Virtually took hours to connect with someone.
They rely on one form of ID to verify you, your EMAIL ADDRESS connected to your account. I recently changed my email associated with my Wix account. With that change alone, they locked me out of my account.
I spoke to them directly and even though I provided evidence of ownership of my URL with GoDaddy, it was not good enough.
Because I couldn't get access to my account, and because my Wix renewal could not be paid due to lockout, Wix shut down my website.
No problem! I am simply moving my website to GoDaddy who has my Domain. Plus, GoDaddy is a third of the price compared to Wix.

The recording first said, that "due to call volume, i would have to call back when they next opened on Monday (feb 13th!)" which means that they haven't changed their answering message for days! Then I tried this morning, and there is a new recording that saids that they will next be open on Tuesday feb Feb 21st! So. Fuck. Seriously. We can't afford to rebuild our whole site again with another service! And i've/we've had WIX for over 6yrs now..

Answer: One of the things that really bother me with Wix (besides them being so focused on extracting money from their customers that they tend to forget about everything else) is that they make these changes and do not care one bit to inform their customers that they are going to do this, so all of the sudden one has a site that doesn't function and unless one keeps checking daily whether everything still works as it should, one end up having problems. That's one of the reasons why I'm out and do not plan to use them much longer.
