I got my balance to zero by buying the tokens. The total fee they charged me was 42.43 EUR just to get 1.50 EUR earned via cashback in Wirex Tokens out of the Wirex account so they would close it.

Wirex is a scamming Web3 wallet. There financial institute knows nothing about their 'refunds' im still waiting for longer then 16 months on my remaining funds after the closure of my account. Their a lawsuit has been filed against Pavel Matveev, Dmitry Lazarichev, Georgy Sokolov, Rajiv Sainani & Wirex limited in the
Netherlands. Also there official adress is in Croatia and not in UK. They never edited this. But all the wires are starting to come together. Be careful when using wirex. Small amounts can't hurt, but I don't recommend large investments! They also closed the ticket and close all new ones. They banned me from discord on 3 different accounts. The app tells me i get notitfied myself but 18 months further and still didnt receive my 3eth.

You can deposit but can't withdraw. And support is terrible, they never reply. If you see they com and reply to this message here, that is a SCAM too. Don't believe it.
I'd been a loyal customer of Wirex for years,had a good amount invested with them.Suddenly I got an email stating they were going to terminate/close my account and when I asked they could not even give me a reason. Do not waste your time with Wirex,there are far better options out there. Wirex is a disgraceful company and their customer service is legendary for being the worst in the industry. I have had a wirex account. Used the card, transfered crypto back and forward. With No problem at all. And then I did something wrong. I didnt put my destination tag. Ok, that was my fault. Then I contacted wirex, trough a ticket. No response in over a month. I wrote several times. Then I wrote to them at X. And they finale answered. They promised to fix it. Then nothing happend. I got the messege. Not to worried, and I would get my fund. Now I understand that they took it. Because to solve this, problem and use over to months. Now they stoped replying me. And no, XRP. I got screenshot of everything. To bad it is like this. Card was greate. But to get help from qustomer suport. It is terrible and a nightmare. Now there is no communication no money. Wirex froze my account without notice, and despite multiple emails, there has been zero response. A financial service that lacks communication and arbitrarily locks accounts is not one I can recommend. Proceed with caution.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Wirex. After closing my account with a significant balance, they failed to respond to any of my emails. Despite the lack of a customer support phone number, I took legal action to reclaim my funds, which resulted in my account being unblocked. However, Wirex disabled faster payments and Sepa payments, making it impossible for me to transfer my money through the app.
When I attempted to transfer funds using the Wirex Crypto wallet, the transfers remained pending for an extended period and ultimately never went through. Wirex initially claimed that the money had been sent, but later admitted that technical issues had prevented the transfer from completing. Subsequently, they ceased responding to my emails and support requests for two weeks, leaving me in limbo regarding my ******* GBP.
After more than two weeks of silence, I finally received a letter from Wirex stating that they were working on resolving the issue. I am deeply troubled by their actions and urge others to investigate their behavior as there are numerous similar verified reviews on Trustpilot detailing illegal and fraudulent activities.
Used for a few months and all seemed okay. Added some more funds which triggered my account being frozen and support just stalling and evading the issue. Now I'm being ghosted. Avoid!
Updated to 3 stars, customer service have finally rectified my issues. The app and its functions are good, the service and behind the scenes stuff needs some work.
If you deposit money (even cryto) they start asking you for lots of documents about source of funds / income and then asking you again for a multiple forms of proof of address and identity verification and finally close / block / freeze your account and since they have a super slow support service you cannot even access your funds or withdraw to another bank account or wallet in a timely manner!

Wrote a few more letters during the week. No reaction! Leave appeals through the feedback form on the site and in the application. No reaction! The account is blocked, the money is frozen. Before that, I used it for 10 months and was satisfied. Wirex what happened to you?
Answer: So much pain I got from this company but lucky me my whole money was back after I report them to Assets revivelive with my proof of transactions they were able to recover my stolen funds.
