This business wants me to verify my details AGAIN after three years of being a customer. Their verification links / process don't work and I only could make contact by Twitter.
Now they are telling me to deposit €300 in bitcoin so they can reset or 'synchronise' my account.
I told them 'no' and a token amount of €10 is enough to confirm my source of revenue is legit.
So they replied with this -

They arr thieves people they are thieves. There are thousand of people still yet to get their money. They steal from clients funding indirectly and set it up as a charge. DO NOT TRADE OR EXCHANGE CURRENCY WITH THEM! It is all a lie. Once you send the crypto to a different wallet it never gets out. Gets stuck or something of that sort. You see the money was sent but you can never take it. Refrain from sending your documents for verification they use that to collect information from clients and send them to ponzi scheme companies that do not exist next you start getting calls from people asking your interest in crypto. And from some reason they are still regulated by FCA which makes them thieves also. If you are about to open an account take a minute to pause and look for some other app. DO NOT!
They locked my account on 25th of Janaury 2021, i received a sepa transfer on the 26th of january 2021, they claim they never received it while my payment processor confirmed it was never returned to them and they failed to recall it through sepa network. Now over 2 years and the account is blocked and my 23K euros are lost, they refuse to trace it and blame their banking partner AS LHV PANK. RIPOFF, never deal with them, you will regret it
They get my money and block my account
I open the account to receive help from families and friends for my studies in Spain and when I try to exchange the fund to a wallet a couple of days ago, the app crush all the time. At the time I didn't have enough signal so I don't really care.
Today I receive the last funds, in total not more then 800€ aprox, and when I try to withdraw the funds, they block my account. I contact support and they wrote me back asking me for the source funds (again, less then 800€) and I don't have any more news.
If you really relay in this service to live, run away, this is not the right option.

It took a while and lot of agrevation, emails and frustrations, but it got sorted outand funds BTC got transfered to the dorect destination. I feel a bit sorry for Wirex, it looks like they are under staffed or something, and everything they build in the past seems to take few hits and losing reputation. Binance is taking over!
It's obviously scam. Just read all the reviews, it's speaks for it self. I trnsfer money from my bank to my wirex account and I can see it, but that's all. I can't access them or even used them to purchase BTC. Trying to reach support for last two weeks, but didn't get any answer.
I have no idea what can I do. Obviously wirex don't care about the clients. Question I have is: how come any corporation with so many complains can operate with out any punity? What can be done, beside writing negative reviews all over the net. It clear that the company is a scam and it should be dealt as such by police or?
Horrible customer support, nonstop scammy tactics to encourage users to use the platform, while ripping them off. It's so unprofessional and disappointing. Fortunately, I find out how to get my money back through the help of Gavibrenaid recovery, I detail everything to Gavibrenaid. Com and my money was refund.
My experience with this company is very terrible. I lost my money to this people and no one was talking about a way out of the mess. The customer care representative I spoke to kept saying there isn't a thing they could do and then they stopped answering my calls or replying my emails. It was after the timely intervention of Phoenixsouls.com who then handled them legally and under the carpet which prompted them to return my money. You can not outsmart everyone. I hope everyone gives it their all to get their money back with Pheonixsouls!
After bitcoin dropped I had no acces to my account anymore. They steal your money. Don't do it. Support answers fast. This is because you talk to a bot!
The website looks fancy and they also offer a credit card (what doesn't work).

Firstly, I'm upset that there's not a rating below 1 star, this implies they've done something right.
I paid for flights 3rd February 2020 and they were refunded due to circumstances. The vendor refunded onto an expired card. I got in touch with "Contis" who handle transfers for funds on expired cards.
Contis paid the money to Wirex on 1st November 2021.
The only contact is through the chat and the response is "we're looking into it and somebody will email you."
This process between Contis and Wirex is almost coming up to 2 years. Getting a refund should not take logging a case with the Ombudsman. Wondering if I'm ever getting my money back.
There are plenty of other companies out there that do crypto cards that are MUCH easier to deal with. Save yourself the anxiety and stress and AVOID Wirex!
Since writing this review, amazingly I was refunded the next day. Maybe it was just coincidence... oh yeah, my account is still under review (3rd time since becoming a member) and inoperable. Waiting for approval now before I can actually access my money. But at least it's reflecting on the card.
That's a bloody miracle in itself.
Liquidate your WIREX account quickly.
If you have a WIREX account, now is the time to liquidate it. On Wednesday, April 20, I executed a trade when I received a message that the volume of the trade had exceeded my account, verification was in order. A few sour clicks later I received all the requested information and received a new message telling me that the verification took 20 minutes. Today is 6 days later and my account is still locked. The support immensely answered me that they could not help me and that I had to wait a few hours. I have more or less 8000 EUR in my account and I have no means of payment because it was blocked by an agent who gave no explanation.
The service here is HORRIFIC! I have set up a Wirex account with delays and difficulties, got a password to log in, but was not able to log in at all. Error message keeps referring back to customer service with who I have TRIED to liaise but every time I get a response which takes several days to respond and other times over a week, they keep sending me the same message as in what seems to be the issue and that a picture would be helpful which I have SENT to them several times! I cant get into my own account and cannot proceed with the business I need to conduct as I am STILL waiting for someone to actually DO something about my account! This is RIDICULOUS! Not Happy would be an Understatement!
Really disappointed with their service. I transferred funds into my account but was not credited. There have been no error message or whatsoever to tell me that there is a system error but upon checking the transferred funds have been deducted from my bank but not reflecting on my Wirex account. I contacted their customer support but after almost a week, I haven't got any response. Now I am left clueless as how to resolve the problem.
Never use this service. You will not be able to go away, never. To abandon their services requires long-term correspondence with support. They refuse to delete your private data (id, passport, credit card, etc.), so all your personal information will not be safe. A complaint was lodged by the European Data Protection Supervisor (GDPR).
Wirex, currently, from my perspective, is one of the best wallets right now. It supports most of the countries than other wallets.
Pros:
1. More countries supported.
2. Fast transaction than ever.
3. Transaction fees are minimum
4. Verification was quick.
5. Support is responsive!
Cons:
1. Card support was halted, and it's taking too much time to be available again.
I've been satisfied with their services for a long time: fast transactions, user friendly mobile app, reasonable fees. But after they upgraded to the version 2.0 I'm not really happy with them. Now I can wait for the transaction for days and now I don't know how they count fees anymore. And the exchange rate is still a mystery to me (it depends on the amount you want to exchange). Anyway I'm still using Wirex but don't trust big sums.
Answer: So much pain I got from this company but lucky me my whole money was back after I report them to Assets revivelive with my proof of transactions they were able to recover my stolen funds.
