WinkBeds needs to explain the extra fees - recycling and environmental. Why did I get charged for this when WinkBeds did not take my old mattress?
UPS is a lousy delivery service. They literally dumped the box on my driveway.
When I purchased my last mattress from Serta, the delivery staff unpacked and installed my new mattress and took my old mattress. The Serta service was outstanding.
We were kept daily with the progress of the bed's arrival. It is an amazing bed! It is so comfortable & I have a wonderful 1st night's sleep!
The bed is as comfortable as advertised. Winkbed delivered as promised. Getting the mattress was a big stressful because of overoptimistic delivery dates by UPS but winkbeds initial delivery date was exactly correct. Once we got it, we opened it in the living room because of fears of off gassing.
But there was no odors of any kind. The bed took 10 minutes to fully expand (it gained a whole cubic meter in volume!) and then laying on it was a luxury. It is really good.
Setting up the winkbase was straight forward. It has easy to follow directions and required about an hour to complete. We placed the mattress on the base and the bed was complete. We are more sleeping much better then before. Thanks!
This mattress was an excellent compromise choice for me (larger/heavier stature, prefers firmer mattress) and my spouse (lighter, prefers softer mattress, back problems). We're both sleeping better now, and we appreciate the environmentally friendly and hypo-allergenic material. Also, very happy to buy from a US company! Biggest negative was the hidden "Environmental Responsibility Charge" included at the very end of the ordering process - very disappointing business practice!

I ordered he new mattress and platform for our new lake home. I haven't opened it yet, however I have the same mattress in my house for a few years and love it!

We just received our bed a few days ago. So far we are loving it. It shipped quick, easy to unpack and set up. We are loving how it sleeps so far. Fingers crossed we can come back here a couple years from now and report the same thing!
I didn't realize how uncomfortable all my previous beds were until I slept on the Luxury Firm Winkbed (King). I've finally found a bed that no 5-star hotel can rival. I'm getting the best sleep of my life. I'm sleeping like the goddess I am.
The mattress protector wasn't what I expected, was very lightweight and simple considering the price. Bed was nice but took longer to ship than they estimated. Would recommend, but seems very similar to the many other bed in a box companies.
