It was easy to unwrap the bed and have it expand in place. The bed seems to be very comfortable but we are still breaking it in. It came with thorough break in instructions

The mattress is extremely comfortable and was actually quite easy to assemble - even for a couple in their 70's. The only thing that would have made it a perfect experience, if the removal of the old mattress was included in the price paid for the Wink Bed.
